Bwaaaahahahaha!
Trump’s NFTs, his digital traitor cards, are gone. He sold $4.5 million worth of poorly photoshopped fantasy images to you morons for $100 a pop…stupidest purchase ever...and he’s going to lose every penny because he STOLE the images he poorly photoshopped his face on…from companies like Amazon that are his enemies. He even used a Men’s Warehouse photo because there weren’t any of him in a tux that didn’t look like an obese old pedophile. He’s so crooked he wouldn’t even pay $100 for stock photos to use. Think they won’t sue? They’re going to ask for 10x his profit in punitive damages. ROTFLMFAHS!!

He fudged his non fungible tokens….like everything he touches. How many did you buy? Did you get cowboy Trump?

And Elon has sold $3.5 billion of Tesla despite promising not to, and has gone full blown anti free speech on twitter, suspending any reporter or organizations that reported on him or Twitter. And before you lie, no, they had not posted his exact location in real time…most had not even shown where that legally and publicly available information about the city his plane is in could now be found after he banned it from Twitter (something he also promised not to do).
I guess he better ban Ticketmaster, it shows the exact location and date where Taylor Swift will be.
He better ban any account tracking AOC’s location….or any that mention that it’s possible to track AOC somewhere else.

…or he better just quit, sell to the banks for $15 billion, leave his now struggling unpopular companies and go away…Tesla down 10 more yesterday, almost 8%, and in freefall. He’s destroyed more market share of more companies in the last 6 months than any emperor of Rome or elsewhere. No person in history has lost more money for more people. Not even close. Ouch.

Elon Musk's Space-X Rocket Riding Goat Statue

newtboy says...

This is an advertising stunt for Elon Goat Token, a fairly new crypto currency that spent $600000 on this statue, apparently as a gift to Elon. It was due to be delivered in Austin Saturday, the 26th, but when they arrived Elon was nowhere to be found to accept the “gift”, and did not make the hoped for endorsement of the crypto currency bearing his name.

In the last week Elon Goat Token has plunged by over 70%. Many investors are claiming they are not able to sell their holdings at all, some suggesting a conspiracy and con game. Ruh-roe!

Why I’m ALL-IN On Tesla Stock

newtboy says...

Yes, but day to day you don’t know if you need .05 of one for groceries or a wheelbarrow full. It’s unstable. That’s the entire point I’m making.

Unsecured “tokens” with no intrinsic value (like gold has) are only worth what a moron will pay….today. That varies wildly.

Gold is worth what nations have agreed is it’s value worldwide (with minor local variation)….and it has actual uses, and a finite measurable volume.

That is a pretty solid definition of exchange value. You can go shopping with that.

Did you sell your Tesla stock to buy Trump coins yet? Come on, according to fake Kirsty Alley and fake Mel Gibson, these $30 worthless tokens will be worth tens of thousands after Trump is reinstalled as president, and today is your last chance to buy them. Better invest everything.

Viral How Much Did Your Divorce Cost

newtboy says...

What on earth are you talking about?
Do you believe the government dictates your vows? What "rules"? You just cannot grasp the concept of no fault divorce or prenuptial, can you?

I guess you never planned on kids or shared assets. If you do, not having a marriage means you almost certainly will pay for them for 18+ years but won't have many rights to be in their lives, and may lose your rights to any assets if she grabs first. Uncle Sam is in your relationship, married or not....without a marriage contract, he makes ALL the rules and you have no say.

My brother paid well over a hundred thousand dollars for his divorce in Texas that in my state would have cost under $10K and you congratulate him? You are one strange person.

Again, your perception, not based in fact since the 60's. You assume women take off time to raise the kids and take care of parents and assume fathers don't take paternity leave or have obligations outside work. How 50's. You start from a false position that men work both harder and better, but you have no data to back that up. It certainly hasn't been my experience, I've seen women in the workplace working harder and longer for less pay, sacrificing just like their male counterparts if not more, putting off having families until it's too late while men can have kids long after normal retirement age, putting themselves in dangerous situations where those with power over them have opportunities to abuse that power and abuse those women in ways that rarely happen to men. These aren't exceptions, they're the norm.

Um...so since you admit many women outearn men and the trend reinforces that, meaning soon women in most catagories will out earn men and have more to lose, you admit you're wrong in your position now, right? Of course not, I expect you will still start from a point that hasn't been correct since the era and sexual revolution, early 70's at latest.

No, many of the studies I've seen compared people in the same exact positions in the same industries, even same companies, and women consistently get paid less for the exact same job and hours, and women rarely work less today, and just as often out work their male counterparts knowing they are often token hires not valued by the bosses so have less job security. If I recall correctly, 80% of job losses due to Covid were women, and the men are getting rehired faster. I think you are thinking of some studies from the 80's that made those assumptions and accusations. Comparing apples to apples, women still get shortchanged and as often as not overworked.

Bullshit. You said you would immediately dismiss any woman who has...
"Long dating history? Too much risk
Tends to have short relationships? Too much risk
Likes attention? Too much risk
Single mother (non-widow)? Too much risk
Any mental issues (depression, bipolar, narcissist, anxiety, etc)? Too much risk
Older (why you still single...)? Too much risk
Likes to party? Too much risk
Drinks? Too much risk"

And again, prenuptial. Do you not know what they are? Specify what you expect and agree, and you walk with exactly what you agreed to, no government rules or split involved. Geez. You speak as if you had never heard of them.

Most divorces may be initiated by the woman (if that's true, I expect it's just another assumption) because their husbands are more likely to break their vows first, but are not willing to pay to end the marriage, including penalties for breaking the marriage contract, and we're too dumb to get a prenuptial (or got one that spells out harsh penalties for cheating). Yes, I am assuming men cheat on their spouses more often than the reverse, because men are wired that way.

You are not more likely than not to face a divorce, because it's unlikely any woman meeting your criteria would give you a second thought, and you need to get married to get divorced.

I bet if you show your significant other this thread your 20 year relationship will be in big trouble, or at best enter a long dry dark spell. Women don't like men that believe wholeheartedly that all women are just lessers, leeches that take more than they deserve or even could give back and destroy you whenever they think it serves them. It's probably a good thing you aren't married.

Laws and family court aren't as you describe. Maybe when you enter the 21st century you'll recognize that. The rules of your marriage can be whatever you agree to, including the specifics of the split if it ends.

It's a sad thing you can't grasp that a codified, delineated, agreed to partnership is almost always better, more fulfilling, and has many benefits cohabitation lacks.....almost always unless one or both of you are total douchebags.

You are projecting.

It's no longer me and you.
It's me and you and uncle sam.
I want *consensual* relations where me and my partner set our rules, not some 3rd party, and not when the rules are stacked against me.

The unbearable lightness of being president.

vil says...

No, no bets, thank you. I thought this was a shining example of why Trump being president should bother people. He really is stupid and obnoxious and uneducated to that level.

I have a vague memory of 2016 Trump boasting that he could be very "presidential", was very clever, and had "the best words". What has that come to? This video basically.

Frankly at that time I was still convinced Obama was a puppet - a black intellectual fullfilling the role that a party needed fulfilled, a token black president. Retrospectively he was (is) a very intelligent, eloquent person excercising extreme self-control in the face of trolls like Bob. He was constantly walking a tightrope of trying to rebuff idiots without insulting them. And tried to promote some reasonable policies.

Trump could not summon the effort to self control, but mainly he does not understand why he should restrain himself. He is like a travesty show performer, as long as he is billed in this performance as "president" he can do anything, no matter how stupid, and there will be people cheering.

What intrigues me is that in the US tradition past presidents are given a "respected" status for life. Should be fun.

Local politicians create the Law. PD is obligated to enforce it. on 1 - 10 he seemed about a 1 or 2. They should have taken him home and fined him a token amount (50 bucks ). However Law states ZERO tolerance which led to this sad situation.

Change the law so cops can have more discretion.

Guess MADD has a lot to do with current laws.

Sorry, Bobby. 1/2 facts are no facts. No one hid Wallace's party.

Wallace was awful, but changed with his party, apologized for his intolerance and racism, and changed his tune on racial issues.

Not Trump, who at that time was busy denying blacks apartments in any of his buildings for years, even after admitting the practice and promising the government he would stop. He never apologized, and never stopped being blatantly racist.

https://www.npr.org/2016/09/29/495955920/donald-trump-plagued-by-decades-old-housing-discrimination-case

No one, including you, believes Republicans are anti racists who embrace proud racists and Nazis and Democrats are the racists who call out racism, include other races in the party beyond token members, and shun racists and Nazis. They both switched positions 50 years ago....and you just pretend they didn't. So sad and unconvincingly intentionally ignorant, is that really the best you've got? If so, just concede now, save yourself a beating.

How many civil rights leaders are Republicans today, Bob? How many?

You really are looking moronic, intentionally ignoring what we ALL know happened in the 60-70's. 1/2 truths, Bobby, it's the best you ever offer....1/2 truths.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_strategy

Your position amounts to saying "Black people are so dumb they don't know Republicans are helping and Democrats hate them." So moronic and racist a position. It's why Trump gets 8% of the black vote....No matter how much he panders and shows off his black person at rallies.

Hilariously, this is really not about Biden vs Trump or Republicans VS Democrats, it's about Republicans VS Trump. These commercials are made by REPUBLICANS! LMFAHS!
Here's another for you....

Truth is a bitch Sorry Lincoln project 1/2 facts are no facts and hence do nothing but stir the pot of discontent.

The fight is not about Biden VS Trump. POTUS come and go.

Its really about Dems VS REPs. Which party is the best party of unity, equality for blacks.

Which party pushed equality more? Reps started the NAACP, Rep started the NRA to teach blacks how to defend themselves. Republicans push the civil rights act of 64 and 68. Dems pushed back but pushed a Dem potus to sign it.

Dems need black dependency to stay in power and need a dependent voting pool. Sad. Dems used people as slaves then and political pawns today.

#WalkAway March - Stacey Dash

newtboy says...

Lol. Suggesting people should walk away towards civility?! But she's pro Trump, the least civil politician in living memory?! *facepalm
And in the next sentence she invites all non republicans to a gun fight? Because, civility. *facepalm
And then again, "You're not going to bully us...... and we have the guns. *Cackle* So cowboy up." (Meaning use those guns to bully some liberals, boys)
The lack of self awareness is appalling.
She doesn't seem to even know that she's their token angry black supporter, to be discarded the moment she fails to tow the party line with proper zeal....ask Amorosa.

Of Course I'm Trying To Indoctrinate You In My Beliefs

shinyblurry says...

The establishment clause was put into the constitution because of the church of England. This is why many people fled from England to America, because of religious persecution. It was to prevent a state religion, and by religion we aren't talking about Christianity versus Islam, we are talking about different Christian denominations.

Look at what George Washington said in his inaugural address:

"Such being the impressions under which I have, in obedience to the public summons, repaired to the present station; it would be peculiarly improper to omit in this first official Act, my fervent supplications to that Almighty Being who rules over the Universe, who presides in the Councils of Nations, and whose providential aids can supply every human defect, that his benediction may consecrate to the liberties and happiness of the People of the United States, a Government instituted by themselves for these essential purposes: and may enable every instrument employed in its administration to execute with success, the functions allotted to his charge. In tendering this homage to the Great Author of every public and private good I assure myself that it expresses your sentiments not less than my own; nor those of my fellow-citizens at large, less than either. No People can be bound to acknowledge and adore the invisible hand, which conducts the Affairs of men more than the People of the United States. Every step, by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation, seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency. And in the important revolution just accomplished in the system of their United Government, the tranquil deliberations and voluntary consent of so many distinct communities, from which the event has resulted, cannot be compared with the means by which most Governments have been established, without some return of pious gratitude along with an humble anticipation of the future blessings which the past seem to presage. These reflections, arising out of the present crisis, have forced themselves too strongly on my mind to be suppressed. You will join with me I trust in thinking, that there are none under the influence of which, the proceedings of a new and free Government can more auspiciously commence."

Christian Right = Daesh for fake Christians (fans of, but not students of Jesus)

America was founded on the notion that religious laws have no place in public government or law and religious freedom is a basic tenant of our system. That makes what this idiot advocates about as unAmerican as could be.

This is part of why the right defunds education....history doesn't support their claims or plans, so they believe it shouldn't be taught.

Bill Maher - Sen. Bernie Sanders

MilkmanDan says...

Thanks for the video reminding me of why (and how much) I like Bernie Sanders.

I liked what he had to say, but on the other hand I really think Maher was asking the right questions and I don't know that Bernie had great answers.

Shattering Trump's cult of personality is necessary. Maybe Trump will do that himself by just continuing to dodge and not follow through on anything, but we can't take that for granted because A) it is possible that he will put forth enough token effort into his campaign promises (wall, etc.) that he can simply blame lack of completion on "Democrat obstruction", and B) even if he does *nothing*, it has totally worked for him so far with regards to approval ratings in his base.

"Make America Great Again" was a stroke of genius, whether he happened on it by dumb luck or not. Obviously a good thing at face value, yet vague enough that anyone can attach their own baggage to it and feel like Trump is totally in sync with them. What do Democrats have to counter that? All of Bernie's offerings are campaign-promise-speak that can't happen unless there's a D in the White House and a majority in Congress. And no sure thing even then.

Like I said, I don't know that I think Bernie had great answers to those questions. I don't know that anybody else has better answers right now. I certainly don't. But I DO think that those questions are the right ones to be pondering over the next two years.
