Why GM Says Its Ultium Batteries Will Lead To EV Dominance
Once again @newtboy you speaking from a position if ignorance.
Tesla is down 20 30% due to The economic forces not due to TESLA.
My current worry is a recession which will hurt all including Tesla stock price.. We can thank Democrat policies for steering us into this costly mess.
Tesla is expanding rapidly , Or as you indicate I am mistaken?
Q1 production over last few years.
2016 15K Vehicles
2017 25K
2018 35K
2019 77K
2020 102K
2021 180K
2022 305K
What dickhead data did you look at?
https://www.statista.com/statistics/715421/tesla-quarterly-vehicle-production/
Looks explosive to me, some can say exponential .
Maybe you dont know math that well -- And your a math teacher? So you say. Seems like you are doing a disservice to you students.
10% reduction of force of white collar jobs but hires hundred of workers for the auto lines.
Cherry picking data or do you just read headlines?
Now you push some BS just to please you ego?
"Says the guy who repeats every far right lie he hears."
I dont push lies. Just Truth That is Hunter biden in the video -- or am I wrong?
Then you write;;;;
"Then he says don’t listen to professionals or sales numbers, get your information from Tesla fan boys online exclusively."
Where did I say that? Pleas me .
Sandy Munro's team saying that the battery tech is obsolete.
Do you self a favor and look him up. He is way superior than your elitist mind is.
Difference between you and me is that you see 1 article and are now an expert.
How much articles/ videos have you watched over the last year about the EV market? 6? WOW Check out the big brain on you.
When will your ego pop?
I watch the whole thing ..
Lol…says the totally honest guy who still says “buy Tesla, it only plunged 20% so far this year” (when reality is it plunged 32% this year).
Says the guy who takes Elon’s word as gospel….no way he has incentive to exaggerate or lie about his success.
Says the guy who still thinks the semi truck is coming, and will revolutionize trucking (despite having 1/3 the cargo capacity and limited range).
The guy who said Tesla is expanding exponentially on the same day Elon announced a 10% reduction and that he’s burning through billions every week and can’t get anywhere near full production capacity, not even near profitability yet.
Says the guy who claims the Tesla truck will corner the market but doesn’t know it’s delayed indefinitely if not cancelled because it could never compete with Ford.
Says the guy who repeats every far right lie he hears.
Then he says don’t listen to professionals or sales numbers, get your information from Tesla fan boys online exclusively.
Then he says this new modular battery tech is old obsolete tech like a blackberry.
Tesla is far less likely to make it through the decade, they were the big fish in a puddle, now they’re a small fry in a little pond that just had the tide break through and now there are sharks in there with it.
I’m guessing you didn’t watch the whole thing.
What Do You Know About Female Anatomy
It was a mock American SAT exam (although I'm a Canadian, and I took the test in a Canadian boarding school right at a border town on Quebec/Maine named Stanstead College). My beef wasn't really with the teacher originally, I just thought the SAT was weird to have such a math question, so I justed wanted to point out there are 2 right answers, and 1 interesting philosophical argument to be had depending of how you look at d)... about how the question/answers were flawed. But with her answer, I couldn't but sneer and thought she was just clueless (instead of both of us had a laugh at the Q... while sipping tea? Stanstead College had a very British tradition).
As she was not the dunce who drafted that stupid question, I was not going to fight her for an inconsequential demerit (on my part or SAT?), nor find it worthwhile to pursuit the higher-ups for a correction.
I say “b” is the “right” answer as it’s more inclusive and includes “c”. Always choose the correct answer with the larger set. (Unless the instructions say choose the CLOSEST answer)
Sometimes in similar cases I would write in “E) both B and C” and be prepared to debate it.
If the teacher refused to consider both answers were correct, I would take it to the administration and get credit (and an apology).
This happened more than once to me in school.

Haha, I KNEW you're gonna say that. I replied it that way because it reminds me on an argument I had with a math teacher way back when which I want to tell.
It's was a math question but the answer is in multiple choice. The (simplified) question was like: What's 10-11? (I remember the exact answer is -1) but the choices were:
a) 21
b) < 10 c) < 0 d) none of the above
I chose b) because you can't lose against c) & d) right? WRONG! According to the math teacher, c) is the right answer because "c) is closer to -1"... I was in no mood to even argue with her on the conundrum of including d) in the choices by her logic, so I just sneered and slowly moonwalked away...

That would be well under 20!

Hayes: NRA "Good Guy With A Gun" Theory Failed In Real Time
the rub of "good guys w/guns" is the "good guys" requirement.
if the argument is "those that can be proven to be responsible, safe, and sane can own guns" then why fear the 'proof' part of the equation?
it's in their motto!
'bad guys' helping 'bad guys' get guns is bad guys, bad guys...whatcha gonna do?
plus
the idea that teachers/school kids can be expected to keep the doors closed - turn on the a/c or the heat up and just see if YOUR home doors are kept shut!
more fantasy from the infanticidally idiots. as if the uncompromising are themselves 'compromised'.
just think...this song is 30 yrs old...and it doesn't raise an eye brow now...
If I remember correctly God said something to the effect of "Thou shalt not kill".
What other weapons do you have left in your arsenal that your God gave you?
Hayes: NRA "Good Guy With A Gun" Theory Failed In Real Time
Yep…not true at Parkland, wasn’t true here. There were DOZENS of “good guys with guns” milling around outside, and 19 inside, not one even tried to help, some assaulted students, parents, and teachers, but not the shooter.
Edit: 19 officers were inside, on the other side of the door while children were being shot to death for 45 minutes…during which time they heard the screams of children being shot to death, they received multiple calls from inside the classroom explaining that there were multiple dead kids, multiple still living children, and more being shot with every call, yet they did absolutely nothing but wait. They claim today that they decided he was a barricaded suspect and there was no time pressure to stop him despite being able to hear children being murdered just feet away from where they stood with their thumbs up their asses.
It now seems, according to today’s story from police (a story that changes with every telling) even the tactical team from border police was on scene almost 40 minutes before they went in.
*doublepromote *quality debunking of another of the right’s idiotic talking points.
I think 21 officers from that force need to be executed on the spot by grieving parents, with no charges for the shooters, and the rest fired and banned from being even unarmed security guards for life, with prison if they even attempt another job in law enforcement. This was undeniable proof that police aren’t heroes, aren’t there to protect the public, and are in reality just cowardly thugs with guns and authority that don’t step up when needed.
Beto interrupts dog and pony show
I heard “I can’t believe you’re a sick son of a bitch that would come to our political PR event to make a political stance on a political issue! “
Aren’t these the people who have made a mission out of standing up in school, town, and county board meetings and scream ranting at them, often in large numbers, often making threats, until the meetings are ended? Now the same snowflakes are outraged someone does the same to them in an effort to make a better suggestion to protect children than the Republican suggestion, which today is arm every adult and lock all the fire exits, because having armed guards worked out so well in Florida.
Edit: it now sounds like Uvaldi police waited quite some time (1:15) before entering the school, with videos of parents pleading with them to do something and dozens of armed police on scene, during which time the murderer shot down 19 children and two teachers. So much for armed security being the solution…that only works if they act, which is rare.
Steven covers the impossibility of teaching monkeys safe sex
Damnit, I thought the point of monkey sex ed was to get them to eat the banana.
Not only am I a bad teacher, I am also both stubborn and happy.

Teachers Sabotage Don’t Say Gay Law By Following It
Way to conflate homosexuality with pedophilia despite all studies showing the opposite is true.
https://lgbpsychology.org/html/facts_molestation.html
https://psmag.com/social-justice/do-gay-men-have-more-sexual-interest-in-children-than-straight-men-do-62127
Because I know you won't read either study, let me quote....
"Using phallometric test sensitivities to calculate the proportion of true pedophiles among various groups of sex offenders against children, and taking into consideration previously reported mean numbers of victims per offender group, the ratio of heterosexual to homosexual pedophiles was calculated to be approximately 11:1." If homosexuals were even equal in child molesting, that would be closer to 9:1.
I guess you now agree that heterosexual teachers shouldn't be in the classroom because they are more likely to be child molesters, because scientific fact overrides prejudicial opinion.

Wikipedia's Bias
Ever try to trick a dog w/the fake stick toss? Even they stop and scan to find evidence. (ours learned the ruse quickly)
spins my gourd that folks are SO EASILY misled by these fairy tales of teachers indoctrinating kids (yet, they can't get them to sit still, stop talking, or return materials on time); fears of giving citizens PSTD with known history (but explaining why 'person. woman. man. camera. tv' is NOT unsettling); or libraries can't be trusted to be run by librarians but the by the government (what were Ben Franklin and Andrew Carnegie thinking?)
look, boy! go get the stick! (no wonder all the anger. can't find it. but it has to be here!)
BTW: Roy and Silo thing is nuts. (not mentioned but peripheral involved) rather listen to John Oliver analyze "Air Bud". a lot less loopy.

I hadn't heard about that story. Funny and sad at the same time. Definitely would get thrown out of court if the prosecutor did bring charges. Reporter did the right thing (telling them), it's a shame he's getting backlash of stupidity.
When it comes to sensitive data, the government and corporations have due-diligence requirements that weren't met here (even if it was unintentional/temporary), so maybe (IANAL) the teacher's union could file a class-action suit? They'd probably settle out of court for 1 year of LifeLock or some other such BS. Maybe the website was created by the Governor's grandson or nephew as a high school project? Mistake is worse than incorrect ACLs on a S3 bucket...
Yes, Missouri. The unhinged ignorant governor wants to prosecute reporters for viewing source data, but there’s no law about this, no hacking required, just a left click, and despite the governor’s politically motivated attempts to force a case, the prosecutor has declined to file any charges against the reporter who noticed and reported that the government website had publicly posted the social security numbers of every teacher in the state….likely because the only crime was on the government’s part….including the continuing politically motivated retaliatory investigations against the reporter who discovered this inexcusable lapse in security under the governor’s nose.
He (the prosecutor) should file charges against the website administrator for exposing 100000 teachers to identity theft, and the governor for abuse of power for trying to prosecute the whistleblower for reporting the non existent security to the government, he even held off publishing his report to give the school system time to fix the issue before it became public knowledge.

Anyone surprised the governor is a Republican, a moron, is more than willing to abuse his power to try to avoid embarrassment for his administrations incompetence, and has absolutely zero idea of how websites, the internet, meta data, or hacking work, or in many cases what they even are (probably thinks the internet is a bunch of tubes, hackers use hatchets, and that meta data is secret proprietary data)?
Sweet zombie Jesus, these morons get worse daily….I think Trump secretly requires them to eat >1gram of pure lead per day. Stupider by the minute.
Worse that this. If you go to a publicly available page with no authentication, and just look at all the data being sent down to your browser (rather than just the data that the browser displays) you can get investigated. IIRC this is what that nutjob governor in Missouri(?) recently went full-on attack dog about.

?
Why? There was no damage done, and they exposed potential weaknesses in a school system’s security. (Imagine a school shooter using it to tell everyone to assemble in the gym or something, they needed to know their security sucked).
Sr pranks I saw in person included covering the hallways in liquid dish soap. That caused the school to close, and cost thousands to clean up, yet no charges were pressed (I think the entire sr class got an hour of detention or something weak). I’ve seen others where teacher’s/principal’s car was put on the roof, or disassembled then reassembled in the teacher’s lounge with no way to drive it out.
As Sr pranks go, this seemed innocuous, almost pleasant.
I suppose a hard nosed principal and DA could bring charges, but both would lose all public support from their community and possibly their jobs.
certainly they could get expelled for this prank. arrested too, but might not get on their permanent record if they are under 18.
