Why Geography Makes The US Insanely OP

newtboy says...

Excellent question…and I point out that only Trump spent millions of his own money for a $200k job…and his family made BILLIONS with no exaggeration and no assumptions, guesses, or theories, it’s a proven and under investigation fact. Biden didn’t have tens of millions to spend, his son didn’t either much less billions he’s accused of taking, and his family isn’t directly profiting from being in a nepotistic administration, getting “gifts” from hostile foreign powers in the tens and hundreds of millions, or in Jared’s case, BILLIONS from the Saudis.

Trump exhibits every single tenet of fascism-
WIKI- Fascism - a far-RIGHT, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation and race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy. Sounds exactly like the Trump right to me….and an impossibility for the left since fascism is a far right ideology.

Utter bullshit nonsense. Jan 6 alone, before investigating or prosecuting or housing the criminal terrorists cost over $500 million with 5 dead, for just one day of many far right riots. How much damage and cost has the election fraud fraud with its never ending “investigations” by politically connected organizations with zero experience, destroying entire county wide election systems and invalidating thousands of voting machines brought? How much of the near $40 billion wasted on the border fence that isn’t slowing a single immigrant was just stolen by politically connected groups with zero construction experience who promised to build a wall? If you want to add up costs and damage by party, you can’t then just ignore all costs and damages done by the extreme right/Trumpist fascists.
Now, how much destruction, death, and damage are the right promising to create if Trump is indicted? Pushing their followers to prepare to riot violently should the law be applied to their side while still chanting “lock her up” over Clinton who was only accused of 1% the crimes Trump was caught red handed committing….and you don’t see any hypocrisy, nothing wrong at all with demanding prison for any infraction by political enemies and total blanket immunity for their leaders.

You watch too much far right propaganda (the kind that replayed riot videos from years ago claiming they were of Portland burning daily for months…you must have thought Portland was made of asbestos to still be there to burn after week one of that lie, truth is the Portland “riots” were mostly peaceful and were only about a 4 city block area, not the entire city, something else OAN and FOX neglected to tell you), the kind of far right propaganda that never reported on the far right actors caught shooting crowds, lighting fires, shooting cops, setting bombs, etc. Most arsons, nearly all deaths, and 100% of cop killing and bombings during the 2020 riots (that Trump couldn’t stop but did exacerbate) were caused by proud and boogaloo boys trying false flag attacks. They were caught and prosecuted (or killed) committing crimes and blaming blm. There weren’t many BLM prosecutions and fewer convictions because there was no evidence the BLM activists committed these crimes, unlike the right wingers that were convicted of them…but you weren’t told that on OAN. They were dumb enough to carry manifestos explaining the false flag plans.

Dangerous? Hardly. The right perpetrated every instance of domestic terrorism this decade and last. Death threats at unbelievable levels even to the FBI and DOJ (because you’re idiots), showing up at school board meetings armed and apoplectic, refusing public health laws and making the pandemic 10+ times worse…the right is insane and armed and angry and self righteous and ready and willing to retry the civil war (too dumb to know it was the worst thing that ever happened to America and much worse for the confederacy)….nothing is more dangerous.
Violent? The right has that on lock too, 10/10 top gun murder states are red states. Red counties also have higher gun deaths.
Anti-free speech!?! 😂 Don’t say gay…not a Democratic governmental censorship. No CRT- again, not Democratic censorship or rational. Book banning and burning, again, not the Democrats or left.

“I just admit this is true”? Is this a typo or a brain fart? I did not, and do not “admit” or agree anything you said here is true.

Sorry, friendo, you have everything backwards as usual…based on your FEELINGS, not any facts. You just can’t admit you’ve been so wrong, so instead you continue to be wrong. Grow up. Being an adult means admitting mistakes, something you haven’t done once in the time I’ve known you.

You just can’t and won’t see facts or truth, and insist despite all evidence that your side is peaceful…peaceful gun toting and shooting, stabbing and smashing, Molotov and bomb carrying, don’t back down, no compromise, angry, vitriolic, uncivil, murderous mobs demanding their loser despotic dictator be installed as president for life and death to any opposition….not just on Jan 6 too. Ever since Nov 4 2020, Jan 6 was just one bad day of your normal behavior at Trump’s direction for his benefit….but it failed because you’re all really just cowardly snowflakes that ran at the first gunfire, not strong brave patriots fighting for freedom but weak, scared seditionists fighting for a non democratic dictator.

PS- sounds like Toth Senchal is done, failed to get the shareholder support needed to get an extension on their merger that would have brought funding, so no merger, no $1.5 billion in funding, not going public, >$1.5 million in debt and preparing to stiff their vendors in true Trump style. Another failed Trump venture costing his investors millions and leaving his vendors unpaid as usual. Suckers…what idiot gives Trump credit? No bank will.

PPS - how are you likening the right wing switch from “Trump did nothing wrong, nothing burger” to “There’s nothing in the constitution barring Trump from running for president from prison”? I’ve heard various senators and representatives say that now…not just morons on the street but morons in congress. So deep in the cult you think a president that does business through collect phone calls that are monitored and recorded is a reasonable sacrifice to have Trump back. 🤦‍♂️

PPPS- we just got video of Trump’s lawyers with their tech guy being escorted into Georgia election offices by one of the fake electors at the exact time voting machines and the tabulation systems were illegally breached in that office on Jan 7 21 (the day after the failed coup). This happened in multiple states, illegal breaching of voting systems by Trump’s team, harming the nation irreparably, all at Trump’s direction. Wrong is wrong….at what point is wrong enough to stop supporting wrong. I would say there is no wrong so wrong you would drop Trump, not if he’s caught mid ejaculation in the 6 year old boy he is in the process of electrocuting to death to enhance his own orgasm…you would blame the dead boy, not Trump.

PPPPS- Trump just admitted he’s a serious drug addict, addicted to cocaine, meth, crack, heroin, even fentenal. He did this by accusing Fetterman of all those addictions with zero evidence, which means it’s projection 100% of the time. This you guy, a deranged dope fiend and incestuous pedophile who steals top secret documents and spreads them around his property that’s open to the public. 😂

Like I said all governments are corrupt, even ours. Democrats and Republicans are corrupt. Why would anyone spend millions just to get a 200K $ /yr job?

Trump is not Fascist, just has a large following.
Jan 6 was 1 day of that went sideways.

During Trump years the left burned looted killed many more. The Left are the dangerous side, inciting violence, anti free speech.

You just admit that this is true.

Todays Republican voter fraud scheme…. Matthew DePerno, a Trump-endorsed Republican nominee for Michigan Attorney General caught having illegally accessed vote tabulators in his failed efforts to allege vote fraud in 2020…a felony….and invalidating more voting equipment at taxpayers expense.

Biden’s first year as President: A Beatles remix

newtboy says...

You’re right, it was a GREAT year for Joe, America’s economy, and pocketbooks. The best gdp growth in decades (CDGDP up 10%), amazing jobs numbers (6.4 million!), and the fastest stock market rise that put money in even your wallet.
2020 was the no good very bad year where jobs, gdp, and the stock market plummeted like never before.
Such a dumb tool, Bob. “Democrats are awful, Trump is great….reality be damned.”

Forget 22 and 24….Biden is going to use Trump’s plans, so no vote totals ever, sieze voting machines before tabulation, claim all Republican votes are fraudulent and discard them, and use the military to crush any dissent. If that doesn’t work, Kamala will just certify the alternate electors and they’ll vote for Biden. Perfectly legal, moral, ethical, and democratic right? Enjoy, you already say that’s totally reasonable and legal. Turnabout is always fair play. D’oh

As usual, you have it over 1/2 wrong. And that’s always your problem.

Prove it, because they didn’t prove any of that. Not a single claim that they made included proof, nor were they made as firmly as you make them, nor were the numbers anywhere near what you claim. They said there were possible inappropriate votes, but they weren’t sure because they aren’t election professionals who understand elections.

Still a fake, fraudulent, unprofessional vote review, not a professional forensic audit, and every claim they made of possible fraud or inappropriate vote handling was found to be their inexperience in understanding how votes are tabulated, for instance claiming because two people are named John Smith and both voted, one of their votes is fraudulent, etc. remember the 75000 unregistered mail in votes they told you they found?! These people have suckered you all to the tune of over $6 million, and cost the county another $6 million in voting equipment they ruined permanently. You continue to eat the shit pies they keep feeding you.

Their final result showed they found absolutely no proof of fraud, only possibilities of frauds (and that only because they don’t understand the safeguards in place to prevent them), and they admitted as much in the report, that every questionable result may well be due to their own ignorance of the laws and processes and terms used by election officials, and what they’re sure of is they widened the gap by 360 more votes for Biden than the official results.

All of this was reported in the real news, maybe not OAN. So sorry. You and Trump lost again. Bigly. I know both of you are too small of a man to admit it. We all know it, Bob.

On to your next ridiculous insane conspiracy theory…..how many have you had since the election? It seems like at least 4 per week, most abandoned the next day.

bobknight33 said:

Again only 1/2 of the story was told. Thanks for watching fake news.
Yes The machines counted correctly. They counted every real and invalid vote.
And that's the problem.

Dr. V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai, M.I.T. PhD, and his team found 34,448 votes from those who voted more than once in Arizona in the 2020 election.
17,000 votes that NEVER should have been included in the audit!

Enough to change an election.

Also most of these occurred / counted after Nov 4. 4th to the 12th.

Also:
57,000 votes and 734 pallets with serious issues were identified in the audit.
Not to mention deleted files and network connections,

So there is the possibility of an invalid vote count.
But fake news wont report it.

They did however to their credit condemned this audit as a hoax fraud and scheme and scam until the event. Now then incorrectly claim Biden won with out mentioning the the reality of the truth.

You should have heard by now, the fake bamboo audit has now completely destroyed Maricopa county's election system because, since the pro Trump "cyber ninjas" (who's name itself indicates they intended to surreptitiously set traps and viruses in the machines and who had no supervision) tampered with vote machines, tabulators, and databases (and have asked for every piece of government held data in the county from addresses and social security numbers to expunged criminal records), so now every single machine in the county they touched must be discarded by court order.

It's impossible to know how many tens to hundreds of millions they wasted, finding nothing, and now they intend to travel the country doing it in every state. They seem intent on destroying our election apparatus, just like Trump's presidency was intent on destroying our government. It wasn't about finding problems and fixing them, it was about destroying the system and wasting billions of tax dollars, then lowering taxes to destroy America with massive debt over stupidity.

Because they played so fast and loose, with no chain of custody, no supervision, and no honesty, their "audit" is completely invalid on it's face. They destroyed the data, destroyed the machines (400 $5000 tabulators and around 10-20 vote machines per tabulator at another $5000+ each at a bare minimum in this one county)....so in the $20- >$40 million range for fraud #1, and they plan on at least 50 more. Good job handing Dominion tens of millions to replace them.....now pay up.

Every single Republican should have to pay for every cent they wasted, with non republicans exempt from the new election fraud fraud recovery tax. Children of Republicans too. I'm writing my congressman.

greatgooglymoogly says...

A couple things. Photo ID wouldn't do a thing if Chinese people look alike. An ID without photo would be just as viable. The woman in the original video was mostly directly contradicted by I believe the Indian woman, who mentioned that when boxes were opened and tabulated numbers didn't match the number of ballots(ie running ballots though multiple times, so she corroborates this part) then they would re-do the count to get the correct number. She never said she saw a mismatch observed but not corrected.

Arm yourself with knowledge, people, or succomb to ignorance found in conspiracies..

Facts: Yes, the Federal Reserve banks are privately owned, but they are controlled by the publically-appointed Board of Governors. The Federal Reserve banks merely execute the monetary policy choices made by the Board. In addition, nearly all the interest the Federal Reserve collects on government bonds is rebated to the Treasury each year, so the government does not pay any net interest to the Fed.

Facts: No foreigners own any part of the Fed. Each Federal Reserve bank is owned exclusively by the participating commercial banks and S&Ls operating within the Federal Reserve bank's district. Individuals and non-bank firms, be they foreign or domestic, are not permitted by law to own any shares of a Federal Reserve bank. Moreover, monetary policy is controlled by the publically-appointed Board of Governors, not by the Federal Reserve banks.

Fact: Independent accounting firms conduct full financial audits of the Federal Reserve banks and the Board of Governors every year. The Fed is also subject to certain types of audits from the Government Accounting Office.

Facts: The Federal Reserve rebates its net earnings to the Treasury every year. Consequently, the interest the Treasury pays to the Fed is returned, so the money borrowed from the Fed has no net interest obligation for the Treasury. The government could print its own currency independent of the Fed, but there would be no effective safeguards against abuse of this power for political gain.

Facts: The Federal Reserve banks have only a small share of the total national debt (about 7%). Therefore, only a small share of the interest on the debt goes to the Fed. Regardless, the Fed rebates that interest to the Treasury every year, so the debt held by the Fed carries no net interest obligation for the government. In addition, it is Congress, not the Federal Reserve, who is responsible for the federal budget and the national debt.

Facts: Kennedy wrote E.O. 11,110 to phase out silver certificate currency, not to issue more of it. Records show Kennedy and the Federal Reserve were almost always in agreement on policy matters. He even signed legislation to give the Fed more authority to issue currency.

Facts: McFadden was incorrect regarding the Fed costing the government money. However, later economic analysis agrees with him that Federal Reserve policy blunders had a substantial role in causing the Depression. However, his implication that this was done deliberately has no basis in fact. Moreover, for a dozen years prior to his rant, McFadden had been the chairman of the House subcommittee that oversaw the Federal Reserve. Why didn't he do anything to reform or abolish the Fed while he had the chance?

Facts: The banking system is indeed able to create money with a mere computer keystroke. However, a bank's ability to create money is tied directly to the amount of reserves customers have deposited there. A bank must pay a competitive interest rate on those deposits to keep them from leaving to other banks. This interest expense alone is a substantial portion of a bank's operating costs and is de facto proof a bank cannot costlessly create money.

Fact: The term 'lawful money' does not refer to gold or silver coin, but to types of money which the government would permit banks to use when tabulating their reserves. These types of money included, but were not limited to, gold and silver coin.

PostalBlowfish says...

Screens should be calibrated and tested before an election. Like ALL of them. How hard is it to go through a few dozen machines checking that all the buttons do the right thing before you put them out for voters to use?

Some states tried to get special access to the software code in some instances with write access. There is no need for that. As artician correctly pointed out, this is not a complicated proposition. It's almost this simple:

if keypressed(Candidate1)==true and keypressed(CONFIRM)==true then Candidate1++
else Clear and Return
else if keypressed(Candidate2) ...and so on.

You only want write access into this process if you don't agree that a confirmed vote for candidate1 always counts for candidate1, etc.

I also agree with SlipperyPete that this is not a very bright way to try and mess with elections. If you could in fact write into the tabulation records, there is no reason you couldn't show the correct check mark on the screen and even print out the expected printout and then reverse the vote immediately after logout every 6th time anyway. You might leave a trail, but it will only be subject to examination if the totals are close, so you just make sure it won't be.

Stormsinger says...

>> ^SlipperyPete:

If you were going to use machines that tabulate votes with no paper trail to steal votes, this is not the manner in which you'd do it.

Nope, but if it does produce a paper trail, this is a fine way to steal a number of votes from the unobservant and still keep plausible deniability.

Election predictions? (Election Talk Post)

SlipperyPete says...

I predict there will be a lot of evidence of ballot box stuffing, with exit polls not aligning themselves with vote counts. This will happen at a far higher rate in precincts with electronic voting tabulation.

I woke up this morning after a bad dream: that Romney had won. Not because more people voted for him, but because the systems that count ballots favour him and his politics.

It's time.

shinyblurry says...

It seems from reading your posts here that you think we should be scared if no one is in charge, but for me, that idea is what gives me the greatest peace.

I'm sure that thought delights your conscience, but I never said no one is in charge. I said if God isn't in charge, someone else surely is. The ultimate authority over the Universe is a power vacuum that will inevitably be filled, probably by whatever civilization evolved first. There would be civlizations out there with head starts of millions, or even billions of years. So, one way or another, Earth is under the rule of a higher power. After 20 billion years time, it's inevitable that every inch of this place is staked out and every resource tabulated.

If you have a chance I hope you would take the time to learn about other religions and points of views about humanity and human spirit. It doesn't require you believing in them to learn about them. Placing your faith in what you have been spoon fed since birth is far easier than trying to extract your own reality.

Before I became a Christian, which was late in my life, I explored the different religions and belief systems in the world, for a period of many years. I am an expert on comparitive religions and I well aware of what other people believe and why, including atheists and agnostics, since I used to be one.

QI - "Nothing in the Laws of Physics Forbids Time Travel"

GeeSussFreeK says...

>> ^Fade:

Nothing in the laws of physics...except that you can't physically travel through time, yes.
Time is only this moment. There is no future or past to travel to.

Not according to some elements of General Relativity. Meaning, some would have it that the past, future and present have all already happened and just exist in a different dimension, call it the Z' axis. When Kurt Gödel wasn't destroying the foundations of logical positivism, he devised a time travel tabulation called the Gödel metric which allowed for curves in space time that one might be able to use some variant of what we all know as time travel. It is all theory, of course, and most of the theoretical methods for invoking time travel require a device of infinite size, or arranging matter in such a way as to destroy your time travel machine as it becomes a singularity...oops. Time is hardly understood really. We don't really know what it is when we talk about time, and by we, I mean everyone! Is time a particle, is it a matter or energy of sorts, is it conserved, how is it created if it is a substance of a sort? Is the apparent nature of moments of time in our minds indicative to "it's" nature, or just an arrangements of information in our mind...could some other mind have a very different idea of time? If so, how real is our notion of time, as it would appear that forward moving time would not be objectively real in that case. The debate on time travel, as far as I can see, isn't over...but mostly because we don't even know what time actually is! </rant of one of my favorite subjects!>

Time to go eat...

Edit (wanted to add that some hold that rats memorize events in reverse! What I mean is when they go through a maze, they remember coming out of the maze first, and going in last! AMAZINGLY DIFFERENT WORLD! As such, a rat has a much, much different idea of the "flow" of time as a forward flow of moments, his time jumps from now, to the then that was near to the then that was far and back to the "now" which will become another then that was near, then a then that was far...a jambalaya that we would have no idea how to make since of lineally, but it works so well for rats that they are one of natures most sucessfull pests.)
