Secret service people lie by design. The idea is if you give a lot of information people will miss the central problem.

What is wrong about a secret service listening in on a presidential candidate and his "team" who is intensely trying to collude with a foreign power? Is that not their job? If they have nothing, good for Trump. This is all just theater. Both sides. Trump is a bumbling idiot who could not collude if he was allowed to by law, no one has enough hard evidence to do anything, and the only ones laughing are the Russians. Summed up nicely at 31:30 asked what is going to happen as a consequence of "the biggest scam" the answer is "nothing".

The allusion that Trump is somehow successful in business is a joke.

From what is known Trumps team tried hard to contact and cooperate with Russians against "evil Hillary". It may be possible that the people going after him made more mistakes than the people working for Trump, but that still leaves you walking wide circles around the fact of who Trump is and what his morals, methods and friends (and relatives) are.

You know that's nearly 1/4 of what we've paid for Trump's golf outtings so far....largely paid directly to him since he charges the secret service to stay at his properties that he won't divest himself from, and even to use his golf carts on the greens ($150000 so far for carts alone).
You would do yourself a service to not complain about wasting money on investigating treasonous criminal activities as long as you're on team Trump, he spends like a drunken sailor on leave that just won the lottery. Just look at deficit numbers before and after his tax plan, then try to pretend he's somehow fiscally sane.

For a comparison, the GAO said the Clinton investigations cost $70-$80 million in the 90's (translating to over $135 million in 2018 dollars) and Republicans called them under funded.

Golf trips he charges his secret service agents to attend, since they're his courses and hotels.
They have reportedly requested $60 million per year in additional funding to pay for extra expenses they're obligated to pay at his properties during his trips.

Was nice to see president "interviewed" in a casual way. Was also nice that he got to drive the 'vette, even if only on the grounds (normally secret service doesn't allow president to drive anything anywhere).

Bummed out my President's detail secret service friend wasn't there. Would have liked to see him in the background.
