Unsurprising, really, considering the first Iraq war, 3/4ths of the American casualties were "friendly" (American) fire.

I talked with some Brit soldiers not long after they came back from Iraq #1, they said their Colonel went to liaise with his American counterpart in a Scorpion light tank. The American Colonel stared at their vehicle in amazement, "What the hell kind of Bradley is that?"

as much as its funny as hell when people like these trash talk in their games.. but so much of this was a setup. Any MK player will tell you a) you don't pull off many special moves by button mashing, and b) It seemed like every match a fatality was pulled off. Unless fatalities are now mapped to one button, not a single one of them would have been able to pull it off in the time allotted. Also the scorpion fatality looked like 2 fatalities that they showed back to back.

Considering that conan has admitted that some of these reviews are purely promotional, so much of the actual game playing seemed pretty set up. I can't even tell if the skittles thing was a paid for spot.

It always makes me furious when people in movies act like idiots. Same thing happened in Prometheus, which had a great premise and could have been really good, but was ruined by everyone being idiots and nothing making any god damn sense.

Here's she's equating Dren with a child, notably her own child, which she could never conceive. Dren is a human/scorpion/more animals mix that have an entirely different perception of the world than she does - if she was any form of smart, she would have recognized this and not given her a freaking cat. Would you give a gorilla a cat as a pet? No you wouldn't!

The idea for this film was great and I thought it was actually quite well done. The scientists are naive and bold, but flawed people and Dren is a weird foster child to them.I thought the last part was a bit much, but it didn't entirely ruin the movie for me.

For a great example of a movie that shows great promise and really is very good, but then completely cocks up the very ending, see White Noise http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Noise_(film) or Battlestar Galactica http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlestar_Galactica_(2004_TV_series) both of which just shit the bed with the endings.

Yep, or Race to Witch Mountain or The Tooth Fairy...the first two we saw. After that, I went back to some of the Scorpion King flicks. The Tooth Fairy is particularly amusing...the Rock in a pink tutu is worth the price of admission all by itself.

Copperhead snakes
Scorpions
Red back spiders
Funnelweb spiders
Whitetail spiders (These give nasty fricken bites)
Huntsman spiders (These don't hurt you, but get damn big)
um...

Oh, and by wild, for the spiders, I mean in my house.

Wombats? Lots of those, they can hurt if they bite you.... but they're so cute.

Um... a gazillion bloody possums, but yeah, not the most dangerous of animals
