Really? I find these sort to be wonderful. Not that brand in particular, just the style of a horizontal blade that takes the whole top off rather than a vertical one that cuts the inside edge of the lid.

I know concerned parents such as ourselves are probably more likely to have well-adjusted kids, but I still wish there could be some way to really shield their brains from being deformed by all the poison that surrounds them.

It's that it's just all there, so easily accessed by them waaaaay before they're ready for such things.

And then even once they are actually old enough to view porn, it's not healthy to have that much really derogatory and objectifying crap just there, front and centre. There's this swathe of pretty dimwitted sorts (a bunch on the sift), who say 'You're not protecting them, you're denying them the reality of the world'

And those people are so very misguided. They've got this simplistic 'Knowledge is power' thing in their head, and believe that everything is better the more you know. And then completely forget that you need maturity and experience to handle a whole host of things properly. A protected, nurturing and magical childhood with parent who don't shy away from questions, but also don't let them be constantly inundated with harmful influences only makes you better able to handle the world as you grow older, not worse.

I guess, in my rambling way, I'm trying to say 'Keep up the good fight Lucky'

Yeah, a pain in the butt, Youtube found that as I uploaded it, but said it wasn't an issue... and then promptly blocked the content for most of the world.

Right, I'm adding that recipe to my list of dishes... I love a bacon, pea, pesto style one that the kids think is awesome, but I'm definitely giving this one a go. This is the sort of quick dish you want to whip up for the family when you just don't have the time for something that takes ages.

It's good now. I was making one final fix that caused the server to hang. Because it was only for a few minutes, I didn't want to put the site back into Razzleberry mode.
