I think it's a good thing to play up the comedic aspect of something that was also terribly tragic at the time. Laughter can be very cathartic.

Après quelques incantations de druides et de magie, toute la tribu, le glaive en main courait vers l'ennemi, la lutte était terrible et je ne voyais que les ombres, tranchant l'ennemi qui revenait toujours en surnombre.

Planking is the practice of getting completely horizontal, like a plank of wood, in an unusual place (like in the video) for long enough to take a photo, probably to post to facebook.

Believe it or don't, the markup is actually very low. The high cost is likely due to the Ghostbusters licensing involved.

I suppose this is funny if your only exposure to Japanese people is through movies like the Karate Kid. This guy's fake accent is pretty terrible--and no Japanese person would pronounce "wa-sa-bi" wrong since it's a native Japanese-language word.
I don't find it offensive or anything, just pretty terrible.
