i like this guy, but he's gotten way out of his depth in his recent videos on VFX. that "major lazer" / method NY demo concept couldn't have been stolen and the work certainly was not (it can't be). the part that is the art is the simming (FX), the lighting, the rigging, the animation, the mo-cap, and the compositing. it may be conceptually simple, but you're not going to download blender and pump something like that out with a year or 2 of experience.

But... they mostly do that with helicopters.

Crew transfers to and from oil rigs in heavy seas. That's profitable enough to not require anything else.

The electoral college is part of the problem certainly, but even that could be done better. Even the way Maine and Nebraska do it would be a vast improvement.

I don't believe it's "rigged", it's just a bad voting system, and it suffers from all the problems with FPP voting systems in addition to its unique crapulence.

I could certainly be wrong, it happened that one time before, but I think you underestimate how disillusioned Americans are with both parties and how ready we are to abandon them both. I really hope I'm not wrong about that.

Remember, Sanders was holding his own in funding without any corporate donors....astonishingly. No other candidate has had that kind of finance reform credentials that I recall, certainly not recently, and imo, that's step one for any reforms there.

The American electoral system is corrupt as hell, The Democratic primary was rigged. And they are doubling down on rigging it for 2020, and pushing out progressive thinkers internally. Half the states have been gerrymandered in the South for Senate and House races.
People don't seem to realize in the US that most corrupt Illegal practices like bribery, money laundering corporate money to and from candidates, are considered an illegitimate election in third world countries by vote monitors even. The US internally legalized their corruption. Basically bribery is legal.

Um...but, again, before Ford made internal combustion viable, the electric car was center stage, almost alone on the stage....even with the horrible batteries they had in the 1800's. Granted, there weren't many other options besides steam.

It's not just sad it's criminal that before it got a second shot it had to prove it could beat combustion engine vehicles in every way, not just ecologically and economically, but in every performance metric as well. And the post 1990 borders of Texas include historically Mexican lands populated by Mexican people...so what. It was sovereign and Russia acknowledged that, agreed to it, and signed binding treaties ratifying it permanently.

Those keys and systems would have been quickly replaced had those treaties not been enacted...enough of them to be a deterrent. Had we not agreed to defend them and Russia agreed to never try to annex or otherwise take them over, they would have been a nuclear nation and safe from Russian expansion.

As I said, not defending them was a violation. I'm not defending the US's actions.

Regarding collusion-This isn't a legal forum, you can debate legal terminology and specific charges on one, here, we all understand what collusion means and none of us are swearing out specific legal charges.

Edit: As for the coup, many called it the revolution. It was a coup by the populace, who largely thought the elections were rigged for pro Russians. That said, it was probably a violation for us to eventually support it (I think we waited until after Russian incursions, though). It still, in no way, excuses the Crimean or Ukrainian invasions and annexations.

Video makes references to the DNC/Hillary campaign calling the emails a conspiracy - but I don't remember them ever denying the authenticity of the emails.
All it would have taken was one phrase : "these emails are made up".
But they didn't - and the only reason to not deny, is if you know it will be confirmed and you will be caught lying.

The irony of the situation is:
- DNC&Hillary rigs primary election against Bernie, undermining democratic elections.
- *Russia steals and leaks documents showing that the DNC was undermining democratic elections.
- *Russia is the bad guy, because 'letting people know that elections are being rigged' is making people upset at the cheaters, and is improperly influencing elections against the cheaters.

So, apparently it's fine if you cheat, but it's cheating if you let people know who's cheating.

It's like the bizarro episode from SeaLab2021, only applied to political sensibilities.
