I will upvote this @PlayhousePals because I agree that Rand should have stayed to his convictions, but I utterly hate the messenger. Him and all the media blow-wads are the reason we have this type of problem when they make sure to sink people who stand up.

Maher is a smug prick all the way. He bashed Ron Paul over and over for the man staying true to his convictions and then has the audacity to bash his son for not? By this I mean he never complimented the father at all for telling special interests to fuck off, fix what a lot of Republicans broke or just being an honorable man. Yeah Maher, you could hate Ron's policies, but you made the attacks personal and petty.

At least his father has the strength of his convictions, odd as those convictions might be, and actually votes based on what he says before elections. You can't really say the same for Rand, or any other congress person, they all seem to vote based on what they think is best for them on any given day.
