Cavuto: How does it feel to be dismissed, CNN?
AS long as mains stream media puts out fake news then Trump will call them out on it.
He did not deny the buss tape. HE owned up to it.
I normally don't like jumping in to these political fights, but come on, please stop propagating the term "fake news" as a term for news you don't like versus actual fake news websites.
There's no way any of us should allow that term to enter in to the public lexicon the way Republicans are trying to co-opt it for their agenda.
Knock it off. Words have meaning. Quit redefining terms just for your own liking.
How not to be Angry all the Time
"As it is, Not as we would like it to be"
When we have a desire or expectation on what we want or how things should go, but it does not turn out the way we 'hoped' or 'wanted' (desire), then we loose the balance of our mind.
Desire is based on illusion, we desire (hope) something that has yet to happen and we think about how perfect it would be 'if', yet when that 'if' turns out to be something we did not expect, intend or desire, then we become agitated, sad or depressed that it did not transpire the way we thought it would be. We then take that agitation and we try to share it with others. We don't like to feel the way we are feeling, so we express it to others, spreading the drama. Most people take on the agitation of the one with agitation and become emotional in some way to either commiserate with them or it brings up our own internal agitations about so many things, that we then become embattled with the one that is agitated. Then the fire that is inside is being spread to each other and sometimes it gets bigger and keeps spreading to those around the ones that are agitated. Then it keeps growing and we have a tendency to hold on to that agitation from moments past or days, weeks or years past and it keeps building. It becomes a habit pattern and we keep repeating the same process because we are consumed with it.
But we all know that the only thing that puts out a fire is water. Water is the cooling substance to quench the fires lust to consume. It is the same way with human beings, water (calm cool words or actions) can help diffuse oneself or others.
When we are agitated we lose our self-awareness and travel down the path that our sensations or emotions are taking us. We in essence lose control, we allow ourselves or others to guide us down a path that is never helpful to any situation.
But there are many paths to change that habit pattern within ourselves and gain mastery over our minds and change the habit of allowing ourselves to lose our equanimity.
Science has proven that no one can make you feel a certain way, or make you do anything. Yet we still have a habit of blaming others for our agitation or sadness, or even praise others for making ourselves happy. Yet we are the only ones that can make ourselves happy or sad. We have the ability to accept things as they truly are be it 'bad' or 'good' and be OK with it. Why do we cry when the milk has spilt? It has spilt, crying or any other emotion over that reality is not going to make the milk un-spill. Cleaning it up and learning or teaching on not to have the milk spill again and moving on from that moment is the most important thing.
We are incredible beings with so much power and beauty. To be with ourselves and learn from within our own beings is so important and the key to dealing with the world around us.
So yes, hope can be a very dangerous thing when that hope consumes us to the point of anger and depression when that hope it not fulfilled.
We do not have any control over how things transpire outside of ourselves, but we do have the ability to master ourselves so we can be mindful to the ever changing world when our hopes are not fulfilled. As we grow we learn not to have so many expectations (hopes), but allow life to unfold around us and 'Act' to any situation instead of 'React' with emotion. When we Act, we start to become aware instead of becoming blurred when we are reacting with unawareness.

Comcast Repairmen Unconcerned Of Wrecks They Are Causing
It's true, those repairdudes are shitty, uncaring people and they could've at least improved their safety measures after the first accident. They probably didn't do it right in the first place.
But...
those people crashing, they're shitty drivers. That's a 40 miles per hour speed limit on the road, right? That's 64 kilometers per hour. Look where people slide off the road. Look how far away they are from that truck. That's at least 50 meters. It's enough space to reduce your car's speed on a slippery road to make it safe to break for a full stop. But these people are slipping off the road before they're even close enough throw one of those plastic cones at the Comcast douchebags if they had one.
Again, the repairdudes are assholes but they're not causing the accidents, it's shitty driving. The drivers are breaking too hard and too soon on a slippery road to avoid a truck that's too far away to crash into.
Just take your foot of the gas, use your breaks just to reduce speed. If you're not driving an automatic, shift down a gear to further reduce speed when you're slowed down a bit. Once you're slow enough, like maybe 30 kmph or less, you start breaking for a full stop.
Don't stomp on your break 100 meters away from the obstacle. If you start sliding, release the break to regain control of the car, to get out of the slide.
Also, why isn't the actual scene of the accident secured? Why doesn't the guy who slipped off the road secure his own damn car? I don't know about the US but over here I'm required by law to have a warning sign in my car that I have to place 100 m down the road. That would probably placed before the hilltop, where people are unable to see the repairtruck. They would be warned that something's wrong down the road.
The idiot filming puts out more cones (or whatever those things are supposed to be) but her places them by the truck instead of securing his own crashsite. Instead of warning people coming up the hill, he berates the repair-assholes and shoots video of more shitty drivers crashing, doing nothing to prevent a bigger crashsite. Unless he's the Dovahkiin, his yelling won't stop the cars from slipping off the road.
That video is a total douchebagapalooza and their bandleader is the one filming.
Comcast Repairmen Unconcerned Of Wrecks They Are Causing
You say that as if it weren't foreseeable that some would be driving too fast to stop in the space between where they can see the truck and the truck itself....the accident before they got there proves it's a dangerous road, requiring MORE care if you're going to block the road, not less because it's already proven to be dangerous.
That's a bit like saying 'people get stuck and trampled at fire doors, so we locked them...it's not our fault your wife burned to death, fire doors are a dangerous place, and you just see money to sue at.
Nothing there gave them a reason to ignore safety laws, so Comcast is going to pay for every car damaged. Had they put out the legally required signage, they might be in the clear legally, but they didn't, so they aren't.
Nothing excuses the lack of respect or empathy by the workers either.
Every last person going in the ditch or crashing would seem to be speeding or going too fast for conditions.
I note the Comcast trucks are there to repair a box someone drove into while they WEREN'T THERE.
He just sees some money to sue at.
No Russian hacking info given to Democrats-- non exists
No completed report on the hacking attack submitted to congress yet does not mean there's no evidence or that the 17 intelligence agencies that have publicly stated there was direct evidence of Russian government involvement are making it up (as Trump insists), or that there wasn't one clear beneficiary...that would be the same person that put out a public request to Putin asking him to have his people hack and leak Clinton's emails....which they did.
In any other election cycle, the invitation for Russian involvement by a candidate would in itself have been disqualifying. Not this time.
Donald Trump: Magician-In-Chief
Yea Obama does this too...
His best was when he put out a bogus birth certificate and was caught and then had to have Bin Laden 1 week later to wipe the story off the page.
Someone needs to explain this Far Side comic to me (Blog Entry by Sarzy)
the man is not a bum, and his place is not a dump. He is a caveman somehow surviving into the 20th century, and this is how he lives. The curtain rod is the give away - it's not bent metal, it's a stick! The bowl of meat is the punch line.
No cat. No parrot. No bluebird or flies or Bart Simpson or anything else. If you think about it, putting out a bowl of meat is kinda funny all by itself. In this context, it's a bit funnier. Not Larson's greatest, but not bad.
Spawn - The Rise of Image Comics
I never really got into Spawn and Rob Liefeld... well, google Rob Liefeld and the first result is The 40 Worst Rob Liefeld Drawings.
It's also kind of ironic that despite Image's entire raison d'etre being "creator's rights", they ended up in a legal battle with Neil Gaiman over a character Gaiman created for McFarlane.
That said, Image are putting out some amazing work these days. If you like comics or sci-fi and you're not reading Saga or Black Science, you're missing out. Seriously, go read them now.
Side note: I know purists probably hate digital comics, and as someone who owns 5 volumes of Ultimate Sandman, I do like a real book, but digital comics are goddamn awesome.
John Oliver - Republican Reactions to the Lewd Remarks
As far a president moral fiber We can go back to Kennedy and Clinton both banning chicks left and right. SEX is SEX . I'm sure Bush would have like some babes backing up on him but don't think it happened. Reagan and Romney seemed to carry a higher moral fiber with regards to women and random sex.
If I would put Christian values above the candidates this election then non would get my vote. That would be a bad choice. One is clearly more destructive for America than the other.
Clinton is clearly wrong choice for leadership. Since 50% ish seem to think otherwise I have not choice but to try to block her by voting Trump. Will I hold my noise and bull the leaver You bet. Slowing down Americans moral decline ( as apposed to Clinton) is a fair reason to vote for Trump. Getting jobs creation going is a reason for a Trump vote.
If this was 30 years ago and Trump ( Bush Clinton) was running , do you think the media would have put it out? not a chance in hell? No network president would allow it.
This country has lowered it moral standard to a new low . And that is why this video was put out.
We differ, however, in believing whether this boorish, shameful activity disqualifies someone from serving in the highest office in America. If you actually held the Christian values that you've purported to hold you and I would not differ in opinion here. We would both believe that such words and actions make someone absolutely unfit to lead a country.
As such, though, it's clear what your moral standing is.
The Vegan Who Started a Butcher Shop
I'm glad you admit that freely. Many vegans insist the opposite.
Read the linked site, it gives at least one clear example of his cherrypicking.
The fact that he felt the need to put out a video to explain how he 'picks' studies is a good indicator that there's a problem.
He profits off the site by suggesting donations to his charity, and I think advertising videos, books, and paid appearances. It's totally disingenuous to suggest he doesn't profit in any way, he makes his living 'selling' this lifestyle, this particular site is, in essence, the advertising wing of his operation.
First off, I would go as far to say that most vegans are more unhealthy than omnivores because they think exactly that -- I'm vegan so nothing can go wrong! That's exactly what I'm saying.
Secondly, can you cite somewhere that says he and his volunteers do this alleged cherry-picking. This is sort of his point -- if you don't have a citation, then it's frankly not valid.
In fact, he just came out with a video explaining his process for picking studies and it's pretty damn thorough. I'd like to know where you get this info that he cherry-picks.
It's true that he could be merely claiming that this is his process, but then the only way to verify it is to literally watch him as he does the research on the research. There's only so much you can trust. But the fact that he does not profit on the site at all makes me also wonder why he'd have any motive to "further his agenda".
Seth Meyers - Trump Lies about His Birther Past
I love Snopes. Of course, the devil is in the details:
"The editor of the biographical text about Barack Obama which was included in the booklet maintained that the mention of Kenya was an error on her part and was not based on any information provided to her by Obama himself:
"Miriam Goderich edited the text of the bio; she is now a partner at the Dystel & Goderich agency, which lists Obama as one of its current clients.
"'You're undoubtedly aware of the brouhaha stirred up by Breitbart about the erroneous statement in a client list Acton & Dystel published in 1991 (for circulation within the publishing industry only) that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me — an agency assistant at the time," Goderich wrote. "There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more.'
"A New York Times article about Barack Obama published in 1990, a year before the Acton & Dystel promotional booklet was issued, correctly identified his birthplace as Hawaii.
"A variant of this item paired the image shown above with the statement "Big Oops! Harvard Law Review did not cleanse its 1991 yearbook which states he was born in Kenya." As noted above, the biographical sketch pictured above was put out by a literacy agency; it was not part of any yearbook published by Harvard."
Obama is the origin of his troubles,
Back in the day when his publish indicated so and he did nothing to correct it
http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/birthers/booklet.asp
Then, as president he puts a document that does nothing to quell the issue and makes it worse. There was no reason for a scanned certificate to PDF to have 14 layers in Illustrator. He should have just posted a Jpeg.
Why did Trump did what he did - who knows. But the media did get played that day.
Store Cat Food vs Homemade
Anyone who spends this much time making a meal for their cat needs a girlfriend/boyfriend/fuckbuddy.
Don't get me wrong, I understand WHY he's doing it, but honestly, the cat doesn't give a shit and is probably going "WHY I CAN'T JUST HAZ CHEEZBURGER? WHY IZ YOU TEEZING MES?"
Cat's birthdays are 134% about the owner. The cat could NOT care less, and usually is somewhat put out.
Are they married?

Russia's Doing A Superhero Movie - Guardians (trailer)
It's B movieish but can it be much worse than the shit Hollywood usually puts out when it comes to most superhero flicks. I say give it a chance at least With all the talent and money Hollywood has they sure have a hard time making a superhero flick that's not a pile of shit imo. Of course there are some exceptions.
rant over
(edit) ive only watched a handful of them so im kinda talking out my ass
Vox: Sexist coverage steals the show at 2016 Olympics
How you deliver information is kind of a big deal. At lest to me. And it has nothing to do with how i feel about what's being delivered. Also delivery grates on people differently. I love how Chomsky delivers info where others are absolutely annoyed by it, and why i won't listen to Bill Maher and TNT most of the time(although i agree with much of what they say). Delivery IS a big deal. I doubt anyone here talking about this woman's delivery is discounting the info shes putting out there. At least i assume that. Also delivering in a comedic way is very hard to do well.
