Unlike Trump, I do not claim to be Jesus. 🤨

He’s got to sell something or his campaign won’t have money to pay his legal bills.
Joe Burden is going to crush him…again. He won’t even need to disinformate or misinformate, just let Don talk. 😂

Edit: The most insane part, and this is real, they put out a statement telling the buyers to not worry that the pages are sticking together. Anyone who buys a book from Trump and finds the pages sticking together should absolutely worry, wash your hands with bleach and ammonia (yes, I know) and get their fingers tested for pregnancy and syphilis. He’s a sick little monkey and probably did jiz on those bibles.

Holy (pun intended) crap! Turns out these are old, unsold/ unsellable “Merica” bibles produced in 2021 that weren’t selling for $49.95 and had terrible reviews about quality, months to ship after payment, and zero customer service. I don’t expect improvement for the extra $10. I bet they’re made in China.

High School Senior Takes Book Banners To School

newtboy says...

Some books are not age appropriate and hence should be kept away from kids ….Like the Bible?
Some people never become adults because they had adult knowledge kept from them as “age inappropriate”, which stunted their development so they NEVER learned “adult” topics and never became adult enough to comprehend even slightly adult topics and themes….some never have knowledge kept from them based on chronological age and their minds grew to adulthood well before puberty. You are clearly in the former group.

99.999% of books on book banning lists are not inappropriate to anyone who actually reads them. Any child raised to not be ignorant, to accept differing viewpoints, to think for themselves, and to question the unknown has absolutely nothing to fear from any book or knowledge. Only ignorant, intolerant, unthinking, cowardly know nothing morons think banning books is a good idea. You want others to be as dumb and ignorant and intolerant as yourself. That returns us to the Dark Ages in a generation….when knowledge was not tolerated.

Books with specific instructions on how to make drugs, bombs, and other deadly devices that children might be able to follow, those should not be in schools. Books that deal with sex and sexuality, since parents like yourself wouldn’t teach it at all, absolutely belong in school so we don’t have a 50% pregnancy rate in high school and a 30% suicide rate.

It’s not up to you to decide what’s appropriate for others to learn anymore than it’s appropriate for me to ban bibles from churches and burn any that don’t comply. If you want children to grow up ignorant of life, send them to religious schools and set them up for failure or cult life.

bobknight33 said:

Some books, if providing such abhorrent behaviors or topics should be deemed as not being necessary of a schools system.

There are a lot of odd books out there not all belong in a local school.

God Is Pro Life?

luxintenebris says...

Who said GOD was pro-life? or even a pro at giving life? 20% of pregnancies end as stillborn or miscarriages.

Reading between the lines, thought the idea was to support each and it's good in HIS eyes.

Or kill the wicked.

HE seems temperamental.

Why it's hard to be Republican w/a mind and heart

luxintenebris says...

the idea that those who support Roe v Wade are de-fetusists is absurd. it's reality. it's compassion. it's knowing life is cruel and we don't have to make it crueler.

even the belief that life begins at conception, ignores a significant fact: ~20% of all pregnancies end in stillbirth or miscarriages. many unnoticed or unknown. meaning a Crane takes many babies away before the crane can deliver them.

if the jokes ^ can make a person winch, then why doesn't knowing a woman will die not register? all for a law w/o good intent. for the intent to be real, there would be other realities already in place, such as...

- sex education - at all levels
- contraception for both sexes (even subsidized)
- prenatal care for the viable & wanted
- education for parents
- time off for parents
- groups privately aiding in the care (churches, societies...)
- daycare is provided privately, thru companies, or publically funded

...just possibly a few 'tells' that the morally magnificent are serious.

BTW: the FBI is no lie. don is dead in the water. cry a river but the flood awaits. don't know what's on the papers other than his ass. w/o someone paying the attys - he is defenseless. three times over - he is spit in the ocean. bet me.

The New MAGA Commercial For Greg Abbot- Whose Choice

luxintenebris says...

in the U.S. 15 - 20% of all pregnancies will end in a miscarriage or stillbirth.

if that's nature, GOD lets it happen. so let's be thorough. punish all those who would 'kill' babies. burn down the churches! that'll show HIM!

it's a cruel law meant only for political gain or pseudo-moral pride. no one can say infants matter when they do little to nothing to help them AFTER they are born. that's a reality too.

want to refute that?

You mean the party of debauchery? Treason? Sex trafficking? Vote fraud? Pedophilia? Hebephilia? Secret foreign agents? Infidelity? Insurrection? You mean Republicans?

Right, anything to stop you ethics free, morality free, education free Trumptards led by the least moral person ever to hold office. How does removing all reproductive rights from women accomplish that?

Do you even know what “morals” are? I don’t think so.

Hilariously, Republicans tried to block a bill to help supply babies with formula, because they care so much about babies that they want them to starve to death if it costs $.03 to feed them…but no problem to waste $10 billion in a PR stunt “inspecting” Mexican trucks at the border with zero results.
Edit: They also spent two years screaming about not wearing a mask because they have full body autonomy…the right to spread deadly diseases, and no one has the right to give them a shot to prevent those preventable deaths.
They also leave no exceptions if the woman’s life is endangered by the pregnancy…which would kill both the woman and the zygote.
So much for “pro life”.
Such outrageous hypocrites and liars. The party of irrational hate and fear, immorality and prejudice, thy name is Republican.

Abortion Ruling: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO)

cloudballoon says...

But the Right's logic & mentality (read: fantasizing) is every rape & incest is a result of an immoral slut daring to walk down the street or women initiating sexual moves on men. There's no rape between married couples, only wives that are not sufficiently subservient to their husbands. These things happening is 100% a women's just penalty/reward. And every pregnancy protection methods (condom/pills, etc.) are always 100% effective. No exceptions. So every pregnancy is justified.

Therefore forcing men to pay for half the penalty is further victimizing the MEN! Boo hoooooo!

BSR said:

If a woman has an illegal abortion the father should also suffer the same exact penalty whatever it is. Even if he has to pay for half the gas to travel out of state and half of the abortion costs and the full cost of flowers at the end. Dinner is optional.

It takes two to tango and two to untango. The body inside the womb is only half hers.

Let's talk about Republican reaction to the SCOTUS leak....

newtboy says...

Are you having a stroke? If you talked like you write, I would call an ambulance. Read it, carefully.

1). Nice misdirection there. Way to completely ignore the accusation, and pretend you didn’t just call yourself and all republicans heavily armed crybaby pussies afraid of a few hipsters holding poster board signs.
Funny, because what you described is EXACTLY what women’s healthcare providers suffer from people just like you on a daily basis…the minimum they must tolerate, Bob. Not what happens TO the right, it’s what the right DOES. That’s called projection, you insane idiot. Those healthcare workers have the testicular fortitude to stand up to it daily, with not just constant protesters but death threats and murders and attempted murders constantly, bombings, firebombs, etc….so much they don’t make the news anymore.

2) I thought you cared about the law (*snickers*), the law doesn’t call abortions murder, neither does medical science…are you talking about Texans who immorally execute the mentally disabled? Or morally bankrupt Republicans who try to prosecute women who miscarry for child murder, with no child involved?

3) Are you really so intellectually bankrupt that you don’t think Republican women get abortions? I know you are morally and ethically bankrupt enough to say it even if you don’t believe it, but I’m not sure even you are dumb enough to think it’s true…but you’ve surprised me before.

4) 16 million? How far up your ass did you reach for that number? There were near 600000 terminated pregnancies last year. Would you like to be taxed enough to support them in state orphanages? Only around $1k per year (and rising 2-3% per year) for your share.

Such a little crybaby. You need a nap?

bobknight33 said:

No just just trying to stop the 16+ million murders that the left that fail to take a moral responsibility for their actions.

You don’t need to be a lawyer to know that if you lie or intentionally mislead under oath, even to congress, it’s perjury.
You also don’t need to be a lawyer to know that 99.9% of undeniably proven perjury isn’t prosecuted.
I’m not a lawyer, but I grew up surrounded by lawyers and judges in the immediate family. Grandfather, uncle, and 3 cousins were lawyers, 2 of them judges….all Republicans btw. I’m no stranger to the law, thanks.
Trump lied on every question he answered under oath and nothing….but justices are SUPPOSED to be above reproach, no longer true.

(Edit; it bears noting, the petitioners claimed “ The legislature (not scientists or doctors) then found that at five or six weeks’ gestational age an unborn human beings heart begins beating“. But reality and science say “ the heart has four clearly defined chambers in the eighth week of pregnancy, but does not have fully organized muscle tissue until the 20th week” meaning it’s not a heart until 20 weeks in, so can’t possibly be a heart beating 14 weeks before there’s a heart…it’s a muscle cluster pulse, not a heartbeat anymore than a spark plug test firing is a running car.)

Did every justice in that 1954 Supreme Court say in their confirmation hearings under oath that Plessy was settled, reaffirmed precedent they respected? Was Plessy repeatedly challenged and upheld by multiple supreme courts? If not, I call red herring.

Your intentional pedantry is tiresome and uninteresting. Enjoy your beliefs. Bye Felicia.

dogboy49 said:

Your opinion about perjury duly noted. I assume that you are a lawyer, and know exactly what you are talking about. Since all of their testimony is public record, shall I expect to see the appropriate prosecutor convening a grand jury to address this crime?

Your other opinion as to "how it works" is also duly noted. I guess SCOTUS should not have overruled Plessy vs Ferguson (decided in 1896) when they heard Brown vs Board of Education (1954).

Let's talk about altering the Supreme Court....

newtboy says...

The Fourth Amendment explicitly affirms the “right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures.” The Fifth Amendment in its Self-Incrimination Clause enables the citizen to create a zone of privacy which government may not force him to surrender. The 14th amendment “due process clause” has been interpreted to also affirm a right to privacy.

https://www.aclu.org/other/students-your-right-privacy

Sure sounds like rights to privacy are right there in the bill of rights though, an addendum to the constitution, as explained in numerous Supreme Court rulings.

<SIGH>. I thought you said “Pedantry is tiresome. Tell your friends.” Maybe take your own advice?

Some light reading…. In January 1973, the Supreme Court issued a 7–2 decision in McCorvey's favor ruling that the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution provides a "right to privacy" that protects a pregnant woman's right to choose whether to have an abortion. It also ruled that this right is not absolute and must be balanced against governments' interests in protecting women's health and prenatal life.[4][5] The Court resolved this balancing test by tying state regulation of abortion to the three trimesters of pregnancy: during the first trimester, governments could not prohibit abortions at all; during the second trimester, governments could require reasonable health regulations; during the third trimester, abortions could be prohibited entirely so long as the laws contained exceptions for cases when they were necessary to save the life or health of the mother.[5] The Court classified the right to choose to have an abortion as "fundamental", which required courts to evaluate challenged abortion laws under the "strict scrutiny" standard, the highest level of judicial review in the United States.

dogboy49 said:

To me, the current crop of justices seem to be less willing to deviate from the Constitution as written. Should abortion be allowed? IMO, yes. BUT, are laws banning abortion unconstitutional? According to the Constitution as written and amended, probably not. Roe v Wade was written by a court that believed that abortion and the "right to privacy" should carry the weight of constitutional law, even though the Constitution is silent on these "rights".

My suggestion: If abortion should be considered to be a "right", then so amend the Constitution. Otherwise, it will be subject to the vagaries of "interpretation" forever.

Let's talk about altering the Supreme Court....

newtboy says...

Meaningless fiction.
In the post Trump era, it’s more likely that aliens will land and offer free telepathic abortions on demand than it is Democrats and Republicans will agree on anything enough for a 2/3 majority. When one party’s entire platform is “obstruct the other party”, constitutional evolution is dead.

Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness….that makes abortion a right on all 3 counts, since pregnancy can threaten life, denies liberty, and who could be happy forced to be a life support system for another? Also, the logical extension of that obligation means healthy people forced to donate kidneys, transfuse their blood, repeatedly donate partial livers, etc. …anything that other person needs to live should be the obligation of anyone who can supply it. Same as forced pregnancy. That makes it a constitutional issue, the denial of life, liberty, and property without due process, conviction, or even a crime is addressed in the constitution, and applies here.

Why I Give Abortions

moonsammy says...

Really solid video. Abortion is a medical procedure which has to be available to those who need it. Until a pregnancy reaches the point of viability outside the parent, I don't see any room for debate as to whether abortion of that embryo / fetus should be legal, and entirely the choice of the pregnant person.

What *shouldn't* be legal is harassing anyone trying to access healthcare, in any context. But of course, there *isn't* any other context that I can think of where people are regularly harassed. I suppose it's been happening to some degree lately with vaccine stuff, but that's likely to be temporary (and the Venn diagram between anyone willing to harass people over vaccines and over abortions seems likely to have a LOT of overlap).

"Beating occurs earlier, at the very end of the fifth week or at the start of the sixth week, when the heart is immature and lacks most of its identifiable features, including its iconic chambers. The heartbeat shows up around this time or shortly after as a flickering motion on an ultrasound. Only later, after the 10th week or beyond, is a heartbeat audible with a Doppler fetal monitor."

Derp.

Now that again you're proven wrong, having it backwards as you so often do, with citation and medical fact contradicting you, can you admit it? Doubt it, small men never can admit they're wrong. I admitted my mistake just one post ago.

If you expect you won't remember the person you've spent a decade arguing with in just four years, you must already be showing signs of Alzheimer's. I'm so sorry.

Edit: claim to be an expert!? When did I claim to be an expert? I'm pretty certain that's another delusion, but I'm certainly open to proof, which should be easy to come by if you aren't making things again. By tomorrow please. The only thing I'm an expert about is being a seriously cheap bastard.
This is pretty basic stuff, not advanced or really in contention medically, only as a political ploy...no expertise needed to know there's no heart at 6 weeks, or to read that you see the twitch 4-6+ weeks BEFORE it can be heard by dopler...a basic fact which I remind you that you, self designated expert in the field, got backwards. You were so sure about it too.

bobknight33 said:

You hear it. It is still to small to see at these early dates.

You see it when it is large enough to see.

But hey keep reaching for some flickering electric pulse.

Un like you I don't just sit around and read this and that and claim to be the expert on ALL things. Book smart is 1 thing. Its not real world.

My Education and career. Like I can make this shit up. I've worked in more hospitals and clinics than you can ever imagine. I've worked in other areas than mentioned. Ive worked in the morgue, I've watched hundreds of cath and vascular cases. I watched 1 patient die on the table. I worked in rooms with just recently dead patients. Ive assisted in replacing CT tube, calibrating Nuc Med cameras. It goes on and on.

You are proven Way the FUCK wrong.

Newt you clearly out of you depth. Walk away in shame now and keep at least a little dignity.

Your an Elitist TOOL who "knows" all the right answers, even when they are wrong.

Few thing I know for certain. I will be 60 in November. Tesla stock will 4X within 4 years and turn my 1 Million into 4 million dollars. And "you" will still believe that you are the smartest.

In 4 years I wound even remember you.

newtboy says...

Really...You saw a HEART beating at 6 weeks. You're a liar....not a new revelation btw. You've been a proud liar for years.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists also has said in a statement, “What is interpreted as a heartbeat in these bills is actually electrically-induced flickering of a portion of the fetal tissue that will become the heart as the embryo develops. Thus, ACOG does not use the term ‘heartbeat’ to describe these legislative bans on abortion because it is misleading language, out of step with the anatomical and clinical realities of that stage of pregnancy.”

I do not believe you work in as a medical device service tech (which wouldn't include ANY medical training, now would it) but can't spell or read above a third grade level. It's just not believable....not that it would indicate any medical knowledge if true.

Again, seeing a PULSE is not seeing a heartbeat. If they say they saw a heart at 6 weeks, report them, they're delusional. What they call it has nothing to do with reality....many nurses are anti vaxers Q followers, being in the medical field doesn't make one reasonable, logical, or right. Techs aren't doctors....and doctors fudge the truth to avoid conflict. Press them, they'll admit there's no heart, unless like you they prefer a comfortable lie to the hard truth, and believe it's better to tell a lie than a truth that might hurt your position. Probably shouldn't have admitted you think that.

Here's a citation for you to dismiss as fake news....https://www.factcheck.org/2019/07/when-are-heartbeats-audible-during-pregnancy/

Btw, I stand corrected, except for changes in the muscle tissue, the basic heart is apparently formed by week 13, not 20. The muscle tissue matures around week 20. I'm always willing to admit when I'm wrong, unlike some.

All the Techs I talk to say the same . Heartbeat starts about the 6 to 10 week of pregnancy
And yes there are images that capture this along with all the other images and measurements. Doppler is used for this.

Per quick Google search
When does the heartbeat show on ultrasound?
A fetal heartbeat may first be detected by a vaginal ultrasound as early as 5 1/2 to 6 weeks after gestation. That's when a fetal pole, the first visible sign of a developing embryo, can sometimes be seen. But between 6 1/2 to 7 weeks after gestation, a heartbeat can be better assessed.

Your fucking up the wrong tree today. Go back to being the big guy at you high school.

Now, again I ask…what’s your personal experience on this topic? I’m absolutely certain it’s less, there’s no way an 8th grade dropout works in medicine. You have no experience and no education, no understanding, no knowledge at all, just what bubba dun told you down to da boars nest.

It’s what there is at 6 weeks. The whole thing is less than a newt in the egg, no limbs, 1/2 the size of a pea….the heart isn’t formed at all. Get someone to read for you, watch a film, this isn’t hard info to find if you remove your head from your anus. Look at real medical sites, not anti abortion propaganda sites, they lie, exaggerate, and obfuscate.
