Lol. What fantasy. Based on what? Nothing. Cite your source if you have the balls.

Biden doesn’t have billions, certainly not Hunter. None of them. Not all combined. Just utter nonsense. Again, cite your source if you aren’t a coward spouting lies you’re making up on the spot.
The $2 billion no show contract the Saudis bribed Jared with, that’s real, is public record, and is being investigated as major fraud/bribery.

Hunter, the guy you say is a crazed crack head, flawlessly launders billions of dollars through international banks for Joe, miraculously leaving absolutely no trace at all. The most perfect, untraceable, impossible crime in history.

Sounds a lot like the perfect, flawlessly performed election fraud you still believe where, with no evidence whatsoever left behind, Joe managed the biggest, most complicated, most convoluted, most scrutinized con ever in history from his basement that was so undeniably perfect that the right and hundreds of millions wasted on fake investigations can’t come up with a single tiny shred of evidence almost two years later.

If you really believe the Bidens are such absolutely perfect masterminds, why wouldn’t you want them in charge working for America?….

…..it’s because you don’t really believe any of it, you’re just throwing infantile tantrums and screaming insults as fast as your little brain can think them up, never considering the implications of your stupid accusations. You spout this ridiculous stupidity and say I’m blinded from reality!?! ROTFLMFAHS!!!, 😂

Hunter just launders his family money for the "big guy"

Yes, he broke laws. Nice you joined us in reality for a moment.

What laws? How’s treason? How’s defrauding an election, election interference, attempted election interference, witness tampering, bribery and blackmail, abuse of power, deriliction of duty, incitement of insurrection, violations of the presidential records act, disruption of congress, murder of a police officer, etc. for starters, only looking at this single incident.
I know you want to say “nothing bigger than jaywalking, nothing burger….let’s investigate Hunter for maybe doing drugs as a private citizen and say Don Jr doing drugs while representing us internationally and doing government business is off limits.”

Come on, why not complain again that you don’t hear Trump’s side….just because he’s too scared to testify. Complain there aren’t more Republicans on the committee….just because they boycotted it. Complain about the witnesses despite nearly 100% being Trump administration officials or voters.

Hundreds of millions spent so you can’t name a law Clinton broke, hypocrite. The few millions spent to find out those responsible for a deadly coup is pennies compared to the costs of the failed coup. It actually costs exponentially less than the physical damage done to the building, estimated over $30 million….but the full cost of Trump’s tantrum and failed coup including deploying the national guard was WELL OVER $500 MILLION. A few million more to hold someone accountable and keep it from repeating is nothing, especially if we then sue Trump to recoup the losses (hint, he doesn’t have that much money).
Also, $4 billion spent on Greg Abbot’s performance stunt to halt trade at the border in the name of anti immigration that caught zero extra immigrants…that you supported…makes you just a tad hypocritical again….just a little bit.
To be clear, I’m saying you have no problem actually wasting, with no return on investment, thousands of times the amount spent safeguarding the nation from domestic terrorists with the bipartisan investigation.

The DOJ makes specific charges, not the investigative committee….since you seem confused again. The committee is smart enough to not telegraph the evidence supporting every charge they prepared for the DOJ. They only need to show enough to convince any reasonable person of his guilt, not every cultist. There is no amount of evidence of any criminality from any source that would convince your ilk that Trump’s treasonous and deadly crimes are worth prosecuting, convincing you is not the goal or even a concern.

What a joke comment you wrote and person you are.

Pilot Makes Emergency Landing on Busy Highway

jimnms says...

During my flight training, I was always taught that a highway or paved road was the last place to land in an emergency. For one, power lines tend to cross paved roads and by the time you can see them, it's too late to avoid them. Another is that it endangers others on the ground. Many pilots lose their lives trying to save the plane in an emergency. The best advice I got during my training was that when the plane quits on you, it's now your life boat. Use it to save your life, don't risk yours to save it.

During my flight training I also worked at a small GA airport. I got to know a lot of the pilots there. One owned a construction company and would often fly over his construction sites to survey them from the air. He came out that morning, I filled up his plane and he never returned. I didn't think much of it, although he rented a hangar from us, he also had a private air strip too.

A few days later, I found out that he was killed making an emergency landing. While flying over the construction site, his engine quit and he tried to land on a road. A car pulled out from a side street and he pulled up to avoid it. The landing gear snagged a power line, which caused it to nose dive into the ground and rupture the fuel tanks. It caught fire, and people tried to get to him to pull him out. They said he appeared to be alive and trying to get out, but the fire spread too fast.

The way I found out was a bit shocking. Investigators from the NTSB showed up to review our fuel and maintenance logs. We have to perform daily tests on the fuel and equipment, and I was the one that did those tests the day he was killed. It wasn't the fuel that caused the engine to quit, but that thought that maybe I screwed up the test and caused it and knowing he probably burned alive haunted me. That's something I'll never forget.

$2.5 million so far on Jan 6. Not $40-60 million, but that would still be worth it. Safeguarding democracy is cheap at that price. Plenty of importance has come to light, but I wouldn’t expect you to know or acknowledge that, you are certainly remaining willfully ignorant of what’s come to light just like mr mushroom tip told you to do, and no one knows what the closed door testimony was yet besides the DOJ.
It cost near $500000000 to safeguard DC in the months after Jan 6…$2.5 million is literally 1/2 of 1% of one cost of Jan 6.

So let’s talk Benghazi, just one report of 13 cost taxpayers $7 million. So far, the Republicans have wasted $22 million on Benghazi, and $100 million total on investigating Clinton with no charges and no revelations of import, and no infractions Trump didn’t repeat.

Right. A concerted effort to perform a violent coup coupled with a second concerted effort to defraud the election using fake electors with forged documentation and a lie about election fraud is, to you, nothing of importance.
Sorry, I find democracy important.
Sorry, I find the constitution to be important.
Sorry, I find treasonous sedition against the union to be important.
I think prosecuting 874 seditious traitors to America and the constitution is important, and i think uncovering who the other appropriately 1100 more are is important.
I think knowing Trump knew his fraudulent voter fraud scheme was illegal before it started is important (since he was declared too stupid to know working with Russia to discredit Clinton was illegal in the past).
I think knowing the voter fraud theory came from something a drunken Giuliani found on Facebook or Twitter with no evidence, before the votes were counted, was important.
I think uncovering the begging for pardons by senators and representatives that planned the coup is important (it’s an admission of guilt and of knowledge of a crime).
I think a Supreme Court judge’s involvement in the coup is important.
That’s barely scratching the surface of important evidence that’s come to light so far.

This….this is why we say you are probably a Russian. You act like defending democracy and the American government are nothing important and nobody cares. No American would think that, but it is true that you SAYING something doesn’t mean you actually think it’s true.

bobknight33 said:

how much has been spent on investigation Trump ? 40 ---- 60 Million and still nothing of importance has come to light.

Oh. So Musk is laying off 10%. The question is, WHERE is that 10%? Tesla, Space X, Boring, the solar panel and his other companies ACROSS THE BOARD?

If it is, then Musk is legit say he has a bad feeling about the US economy. If not, that's just a cowardly dodge to hide his companies' bad performances.

Besides, only heartless f**kwits would lay out 10% on speculations.

Musk knows real competitions (and lawsuits) are coming and Tesla can't fend off them forever.

Think people. Think. And bad journalism.

involuntary manslaughter = killed someone, didnt mean to, never intended it
(for like driving drunk and u you know, never meant to kill someone etc.)

assuming fetus = person (as you imply)

what happens if a fetus-person who is a twin kills the other in the womb
?
it's a person performing an abortion
or could you charge them with involuntary manslaughter
?
do you have to wait until they are born, or could they be tried in court while still in the womb, since fetus=person

we do actually charge people who have been born with crimes
if you're saying this is a person who murdered their sibling accidentally or otherwise,

WHAT IF THEY CHARGE A FETUS WITH ABORTION AND IT'S FOUND GUILTY?!?!?!
AND THEN SUMMARILY EXECUTED BECAUSE IT PERFORMED AN ABORTION!?!? lololol and what if the GOP sentence is carried out while they're still in the womb!!! since fetus=person

That just sounds like abortion with extra steps!

Kalush Orchestra - Stefania

cloudballoon says...

No doubt the votes are made politically (I mean, how can it not be? Albeit well deserved.) in support of Ukraine, regardless of the performance's own merit. However, Stefania is a great selection for the country. It's relatable on a human level as well as timely amid of the invasion. I hope Kalush Orchestra won't self-doubt the win as a sympathy vote.

I'm more concern about the outcome's consequence though... so EuroVision will held in Ukraine next year. And Zelensky mentioned that he hope it can be held in Mariupol? The logistic & security must be a major headache if the war drags on. Something need to "happen" to Putin pronto.

This is the performance at the venue:

Hindenburg Disaster - 4 Different Rare Angles // HD Coloriza

luxintenebris says...

https://www.history.com/news/the-hindenburg-disaster-9-surprising-facts ...

Goebbels wanted to name the Hindenburg for Adolf Hitler.
Eckener, no fan of the Third Reich, named the airship for the late German president Paul von Hindenburg and refused Goebbels’ request to name it after Hitler. The Führer, never enthralled by the great airships in the first place, was ultimately glad that the zeppelin that crashed in a fireball didn’t bear his name.

also...

Frau Eva von Zeppelin was offended by the group's name (Led Zepplin) for "dishonouring the family name". The direct descendant of Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin demanded the band to change their name. On 28th Feb, 1970, the group performed one show in Copenhagen as The Nobs but decided to retain their original name afterwards due to popular and critical opinions that favoured their original name.

Missouri tries to legislate reality away

bcglorf says...

@newtboy,

Per my very first sentence in thread, I also oppose gov using this as a wedge issue to rally their base.

Meaning, I 100% am in agreement that nobody(gov or otherwise) should be banning trans kids(and adults) from anything, competitive sports included.

I did point out a single biological fact:
-Whether a person is born with XX or XY chromosomes has a significant impact on development that impacts performance in sports.

You jump all over that observation though, like raising it is hateful, denying peoples right to exist, and on. It is not.

And your observation that the performance advantages aren’t 100% of the time favouring XY folks is the red herring. Of course there are areas were the difference is an advantage, others were it’s neutral, and yet others a disadvantage. In a large population you also always have the possibility of individuals overcoming those odds.

Pointing to those facts though like they mean specific advantages don’t exist is the red herring.

In addition to that one fact, I also proposed applying the same standards for fairness in competition equally to everyone.

And it’s on this point I am automatically decried as hateful, evil and maliciously acting against people’s right to exist….

If your only looking for a villain to demonize there’s no point attempting further discussion.

Missouri tries to legislate reality away

bcglorf says...

@newtboy

“What genitalia you have has no bearing on your performance in sports”

I’m gonna try once to understand this. Are you saying you do not believe that people who are biologically male(By which I mean XY) have an advantage in athletics over people who are biologically female(by which I mean XX)?

If our disagreement is that fundamental there isn’t much sense to further discussion as we are viewing two entirely disjointed versions of reality.
