Victim Gets Revenge On Bully By Dating His Mom

newtboy says...

In my eyes, that's fraud at best, and since sex can't be sold, she would have no recoverable loss.
That goes for your examples until impairment comes in. I disagree, but I think the law says if you sleep with someone who's drunk or high, that's rape, even if they were ok with it at the time.

Mentioning she enjoyed it wasn't meant as a defense to rape, but an indication that he was not an asshole to her on the date.

No, if you intentionally murder me, your intent is to victimize me, your goal might not be.

Yes, schadenfreude is not becoming, but we all engage in it. I can't blame him for being gleeful his plan had so overachieved his goal, but the djs, yeah.

All that said, I'm pretty sure this is all scripted...it was just too perfect.

noims said:

I know what you mean, but I think there is a blurred line when it comes to rape. Does sex coerced under false pretenses count?

If you claim to be in love with someone but aren't, is it rape? Or if you claim to be a millionaire but aren't? If you claim to be of their religion? If you wear a mask and they think you're someone else? If they're drunk or high and they think you're their partner? Or so far gone they don't know or care? How about if you got them drunk/high for that specific reason?

In all these and many more scenarios between, they can enjoy the act, but there's a valid argument for rape. Laws and individual morals vary, but they're all on a spectrum.

If I murder you to hurt your brother, my intent isn't to victimise you, but it still has that effect.

Finally, yes, she brought the conversation public, but under very different (and I'd argue innocent or even noble) circumstances. Revealing the reality - and reveling in the revelation - is in my view rong [sic].

Awkward public aquarium "touch tank"

Payback says...

From teh Interwebs in case you're thinking the octopus is being abused:

SEATTLE (Reuters) - A giant male octopus caught on cell phone video scaling his glass display tank at the Seattle Aquarium and reaching several tentacles over its open top has sparked Internet speculation that the massive mollusk was trying to mount an escape bid.

But aquarium officials say the octopus, named Ink, was not attempting a jailbreak in the video, which has gone viral on the Internet, but simply learning to embrace his new home with all eight arms.

"It was not an escape attempt," aquarium spokesman Tim Kuniholm said of the video, in which Ink inched his way up the cylindrical glass tank to squeals from onlookers. "It's a new exhibit and the animal was exploring his boundaries."

A Seattle aquarium employee later put Ink's arms back inside the case, and a so-called "evening cap" was fastened on top to help keep the curious fellow in place, Kuniholm said.

"Octopuses are very inquisitive by nature, and in this case ... Ink is an overachiever," he said.

Ink is one of two new giant Pacific octopuses on display at the aquarium. Found in Puget Sound, they are the world's largest species of octopuses, weighing on average about 90 pounds (41 kg) and measuring 20 feet (6.1 meters) across.

Kuniholm said the two male octopuses are kept in separate homes at the aquarium because the species is solitary by nature, with males and females coming together only to mate during their short 3-to-4-year lifespan.

In the next year, Ink will be released back into the wild as part of an ongoing education and conservation program for the species, the aquarium said.

Calling Manchester United "overachieving c s" is ignorant on two levels. One, for the loutish, spiteful, language. And two, because Manchester United are always expected to achieve good results, simply because they are the top club. (No, I don't support them)

Thanks Mum, I'll bear it in mind...

Obviously you need your mum to help you, On your own you, by your own admission, are a child, with childish notions. So, be quiet, and know your place,

Oh man, get a grip. You have little in the way of manners. You have accused me of being ignorant, childish and that I don't know my place, all over an offhand comment about a football team?!?! Please, take your superiority complex elsewhere, silly person.

I don't see the difference between Man Utd and Man City except color. One has money...the other just got money. I support teams like Swansea and I think players shouldn't be able to make over $1 million a year because what they do Doesn't Fucking Matter.
If they make anything over $1 Million a year it should go directly into the education system where kids are going "I don't need maths and shit, I'll just be like Wayne Rooney."
I love the beautiful game more than anything, but I'm sick of these rich fucking cunts.

So, your saying if they earn UNDER a million a year, that would be ok with you? Is £999k acceptable?
And your saying what they do doesn't matter? Well, it matters a lot to them and to those who follow football like a religion. Who has the right to say what should matter in a persons life anyway? Right or wrong, money talks, and that is reflected in the price paid for rare talent whether it be in sport/art/houses/ etc. If a kid wants to be Rooney then fine. All he has to do is be as talented as him, but get an education as well incase he's not. Sadly, the type of kid you site is not very bright, and is more likely to be influenced by Xfactor rubbish, peers, and ignorant parents rather than teachers trying to educate. Probably the type of kid (like many adults) who are in shitty, if any, jobs and resent their lot in life.

I had no idea the sift was such a sausagefest. Although it does go a long way to explaining the top 15 on occasion.

How would that be a surprise? Ever seen the reaction to women at a gaming/comic/scifi convention? We geeks just -love- the girls that will put up with us. LOL

I missed the Bolton match. Sad stuff, reminded me of Marc Vivien Foe. You're right that Spurs have overachieved, that's more accurate.

I have liked Carrol at times but I can only hope for his sake he's going to come good like Drogba who I knew could be awesome but just needed time to settle. Both are big, physical guys that should intimidate defenders. But only one has in his career. Guess Carroll is just too green.

Are you a Liverpool fan? Charlie Adam has been awful lately, we miss Lucas so much. I thought I was the only knowledgeable football man here!

Nah, Spurs fan here. It's been rather frustrating to see how overrated we've been this season. This period of losses has been absolutely predictable. I think Redknapp played Modric on the left against Everton which is mind-blowingly stupid but beyond that we just don't have enough good players.

Charlie Adam is astonishing though. I wasn't sure about him either way when Liverpool bought him. I knew Downing would fail as he's always been mediocre. Looks like Adam should have stayed at the Blackpool level. And don't get me started on Carroll...

I have faith in Carroll and Henderson, I think they will come good. The money splunked on them was ridiculous and they'll never justify that but they can be good players. Downing is out of his depth and Adam, well, he's been awful and we play so much better without him. One season wonder.

Spurs are good, and they're well run. I wouldn't say they are overrated, but that they overachieved. You're not good enough for a title challenge, but you deserve top 4 a lot more than Liverpool :

I take it you saw the Spurs - Bolton match? I've never seen anything quite like that and I hope I never do again.
