The Graffiti Grammar Police

ulysses1904 says...

Good stuff. I'm a member of Interpol (Grammar Division) and I notice some Latinos have a habit of misspelling words that have the letters "v" or "b", they use them interchangeably.

Since those consonants sound fairly similar we usually let them off with a berbal warning.

Family Feud SNES- Nonsensical Answers

mas8705 says...

Yep. The Algorithm that the game uses (as I said for "misspelling if you will) can be manipulated in a sense where in spite of how randomly long the response is and how nonsensical it is in context, as long as it identifies the letters well enough, it will give it to you. One example I loved was "Opps I pressed it" which the game recognized the somewhat as "Spee_ _i_it" and from there gave us "Speed Limit." Or "Bullshit Boston Lawyer" and it was able to figure out "Busboy" out of a few of the letters.

That's half the fun of this video, to try and decode these patterns.

That Hall family looks pissed.

(edit) Wow, didn't even read the description first.

(edit2) I think I gleaned the specific algorithm watching the whole thing through. The player just has to enter the answer's letters in the right order, with anything between them.

He cracked me up at 7:40 with the Spanish lisp thing. One of my pet gripes, people that study Spanish but speak it with their flat, schwa-infested lazy english pronunciation but then do a Daffy Duck impression by attempting a Spain accent. They usually have a misspelled Chinese tattoo to complete the picture.

"FETCH....Umm....wait, I was only Kidding y'know"

...and @dannym3141...

You use 3 dots to display a thought/sentence continuation/trailing off, not 2.
Also, you don't end sentences with a quotation mark or emoji, you forgot your period.
I assumed the misspelling of 'grammar' was done ironically and intentionally, if not, strike 3!
No matter how warm you feel, I declare stalemate in this grammar battle!

Plausible Deniablity Fail. The Silence is Deafening.

What floors me is how so many robotic comment up-votes are bestowed as casually and flippantly by the wishfully 'un-dull' for such sophistic drivel disguised as intelligent chagrin or rather, some profound insight.
Oh too, we all simply adore the intentional misspellings so yesterday's meme-ish as you ridicule and scorn others so less 'ill-uminated' than yourself...

Fuck this bishop by-the-way, with a goddamn hot-iron in his ass and drag him through the streets on fire please, ye who are weak and heavy-laden?? It's the only reasonable discourse he deserves and the only time anyone sane should offer him.

Also, wholeheartedly agree with Chaos-E's reasoning and his analogy of bruises and biscuits... fuck the good they do, have, or will disguised as humanitarian, the Catholics in particular are a vile schism and an wholly unorthodox form of anything resembling spirituality.

It seems somewhat at odds that he doesn't know when (or if) he knew it was wrong for adult priests to have sex with children (including during the entire time when he was an adult priest), but he's absolutely certain about things that "happened" thousands of years ago, like all about the works, lives, and expectations of god and Jebus and about how you must worship them, and about what happens if you don't do it exactly right.

"Americans Don't Know History", Then Gets History Wrong

chingalera says...

Sorry lurgee, Charlotte Iserbyt has not been popular with sifters American or otherwise due primarily to collective denial of her message-That message being that it is by design to create a large majority of dysfunctional cretins incapable of critical thinking who feed on a steady diet of bullshit like media news outlets for their "news of the world' in order for them to be herded more effectively by the state and her systems of control.

Think North Korea with coca-cola and Gucci, rap music and video games as primmers for the next generation of wage-slaves with a cult of personality of excess cash to spend on campain (misspelling intended) fleece and bullets, and you have the finished product ready for coffins and pharmaceutical oblivion.

Oh, and fuck this stupid bitch on TV Grimm, and fuck your leading title for your paltry embed. The few Americans left without their head up their own asses may be few, and we detest the same tools used as those of the television.

12 Year Old Publicy Schools NC Governor

JiggaJonson says...

I've heard a lot of kids read. The tempo, inflection, and candor of what she's saying, indicates, to me, that she understands what she's saying.

I'd say that she edited it with someone, and the girl is obviously very intelligent.

Want proof? Ask any 12 year old to read what she read out loud.

Edit: I just noticed autocorrect changed a misspelling of candor (honesty) to cantor (singing).
