I think that pairs to the worst crime the left has been involved in related to the dumpster fire that is today. The entire notion of de-platforming or silencing 'offensive' speech, and that Universities have if anything been leading the way. Universities need to instead be having guys like the one here getting their views known more broadly, and then point out loudly what is considered bad and dangerous about them. More importantly, to also point out how closely it aligns with Trump and his rallying cries.

When the left could have been discrediting this filth, they have instead been accomplishing the opposite by actively rallying moderates to 'defend' the freedom of speech of these guys.

The passive majority has been watching for a long time as advocates on the left have used force and violence to disrupt speech they don't like. In this country there are graduated punishments pertaining to the crimes involved of course. And many would argue against such a blanketed solution as to simply lock up every "criminal"... especially for life. I think your approval and assessment of the majority as it fits in your head says more about you and those whom you'd identify as just than anything. The solution this racist sheriff is providing reminds me of the southern Black Codes or Jim Crow laws. He was defending himself, against being caught. He wasn't defending himself when he left his defensive position to go blocks away and shoot an unarmed man with a plastic bag.

I lived in Cape Canaveral during the shuttle program and have witnessed all but 5 launches live, once from within the 5 mile zone. The sound at that distance is very loud but, also different compared to a 15 mile distance away. The sound is very sharp and "cracks" unmuffled by air until it gets further away. You can feel the sound waves in your body. It is pretty emotional, even if you've been waiting for hours for liftoff and then the launch gets scrubbed.

I was in Georgia when Challenger exploded. I watched it live on TV and for a short while I couldn't understand why the launch looked so different on TV. It really took a few a seconds to realize what was happening. I cried that day.

Provocation actually is a legal defense to violence.

The benefits are mostly in reverse. You wear a mask because it better protects others from you - you should always assume you're infected, if you're truly being safe.

If you can get a medical-grade mask, then it can have additional benefits, but that's not really the point here. Everyone can and should wear a mask, and then everyone has an improved chance of preventing the spread.

It's not a psychological thing. Every time I go to the store and see someone without a mask, they are a greater risk to me and my health. I don't know if they are infected, and quite possibly, neither do they. That's the problem with this disease, the incubation and spread can be done entirely without awareness of infection. Blind assumptions are absolutely awful.

You can catch this disease today, and spread it without knowing you're infected, completely without symptoms. That's why we quarantine, contact trace, and above all, always assume you're infected and therefore wear a mask to protect others.

Now as for whether a simple bandana mask is worth it or not, hell -- we can talk, but I'm going to push everyone to do something rather than nothing. If I could get a medical grade protections I'd do it, but the point is when you have to have a worldwide effort, if this helps 20-50% more than nothing, I'll take it. Everyone should. To the point of this video -- there's no reason not to, the science has spoken loud and clear on these points.

I have been made aware of someone Zoom conferencing in their bedroom when their wife walked out naked after a shower and then hit the floor when she realized that the entire office was on the call.
