It depends on the mental fortitude of the person in question. Hypothetically speaking, let's say one of the dyed in the wool atheists who really believes that even 'if' God exists that he's the source of all human misery and the sole reason why human beings act like jerks. He also believes that God is inherently unjust, unfair, cruel, and vindictive. So he spends his entire life believing this, and then shows up at the pearly gates. How would he act?

Based on what we see here in the forum, the hypothetical atheist would probably start blaming God for everything, calling him a jerk, and telling him to take his afterlife and cram it.

If God exists and is a true higher power and intellect, then he's a magnanimous fellow and more than willing to forgive people for believing a load of crap that was foisted on them in ignorance. I think the reason we haven't seen the current administration impeached is far more terrible than a bunch of politicians not wanting to lose their jobs. We've seen the limits the Bush administration went to start their bullshit wars, impeaching them could just cost more lives when they decided that the San Francisco needs nuked so they can blame it on Iran and launch another invasion.

Evolution is the process by which something very very simple, undergoes natural selection, and evolves into something complex. Its been shown in the lab time and time again, without evolution we wouldn't need AIDS medication, nor anti-biotics, as germs wouldn't evolve...but alas, they do.

We've also shown in lab environments that we can create life from non-life materials.

We can also see through Doppler principle and phase shift of the stars, that literally everything in the universe originated in a single point, about 14 billion years ago.

We can also model accurately with the laws of physics, the evolution of the universe, which eventually unfolds basic hydrogen and helium into the more complex, heavier elements. We can also show how solar systems, stars, planets, moons etc. can form.

Its truly amazing what hydrogen can do given 14 billion years.

Did you read the rest of my comment concerning the rest of the media and not just the sift? There is literally ONE female protagonist in the top 40 movies, just like there are NO black protagonists, unless you count Will Smith in Independence Day. Canada actually has a commercial going right now encouraging the hiring of immigrants. If you're from the states, I don't know what the situation of race or gender equality is there. The fact that you're on the verge of a Black president, but sources are still trying to keep him out of the white house (fox) should be a hint to me that racial equality still doesn't exist in some peoples eyes, I suppose.
