Glad to help. But I just did it because it is a quality discussion. Sadly, it's one that comes up every once in a while and nothing is done, or some new feature is added that only makes things worse.

I know next to nothing about photography, but I guess this has something to do with the ratio of the size of the aperture to focal length? Anyone care to explain in more detail?

How could it have none? It's less than a day old, in the top15, quality'd 21 hours ago, with a 50% votes/views ratio, over a 100 unique views, and over 600 total views. There are others in the hotness listing that are "less" by any/all measures. Perhaps the hotness algorithm needs some tweaking?

Some of them are, but not with the same regularity.

@dag @lucky760 - can you tell me why this video has disappeared from the hotness listing? I don't mean it's not on the very front page, I mean it doesn't show up on the front page listing no matter how many pages back I go. Note that it's less than a day old at this point.
