Poison ivy has always been my kryptonite, although luckily I haven't had an episode in years. The worst ever was when I ran a weed whacker while wearing shorts, didn't realize I was hitting poison ivy. Both legs were a crusty, oozing mess for 2 weeks. My coworkers took pity and went out and got my lunch for me every day, knowing that walking was an ordeal. Good times.

The whole "Batman vs. Superman" thing is pretty silly to begin with for several reasons. Superman being overpowered in general and Batman only being able to possibly deal with him using kryptonite being a major one, and the idea of the two of them being at odds enough to actually fight each other being another.

I never have really liked Superman as a hero due to all of the tacked on powers and the fairly ridiculous backstory (though it's better now since they've retconned in a bunch of more sensible details over the many years).

Then this trailer seems to pretty much boil down the conflict between them to being "he's reckless and endangering lives and can't be trusted with his amazing powers" vs. "he's a vigilante who's going too far outside the law". Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor (egging things on, and just in general) isn't working for me from what I see in this trailer either. Seems pretty silly. I guess mainly I was hoping for a better reason for them to end up fighting; the first teaser left that up in the air, and this one didn't personally give me compelling enough reasons.

Nice little teaser of Wonder Woman being in the movie as well, though, rather than just Batman and Superman.

There's been at least a couple of example of them breaking into two pieces when hitting the goal post, but I'm not sure if they were defective to begin with or maybe really old. I know they keep them in a bucket of ice for game use so maybe cold could 'slightly' be their Kryptonite.

Their standard of living is a direct result of Western intervention. I think that's pretty much it. The money going into these Republicans to hold up legislation is enough to keep them rooted in their seats. When it comes down to a fair fight, Batman loses against anyone that doesn't just fight hand to hand and/or has a healing factor / super strength. But that's not what Batman's true power is. All Batman needs to do is acquire an object of immense power and then employ it against whoever it is he's up against. He doesn't even need to fight but chooses to fight. If he's fighting Superman, obtain kryptonite -- or hell, gain access to the Siege Perilous and then just destroy the mind of whatever passes through it. He's friggin' Bruce Wayne and has a vast web of connections, bolstered by his income, which can get him ANYTHING.

Anyway. There are cosmic entities which have a greater pull of resources than Batman so let's match Batman's economic superiority (he's basically an army) against an actual threat backed by near infinite resources, such as the Negative Zone's Annihilus, Titan's Thanos, a time traveler like Kang the Conqueror, or the hive mind of the Phalanx.

Hell, I'd love to see Batman hack Galactus' base of operations and then invade and divert cosmic consonance.
