1966 Ford GT40 Continuation: Building A Legend,

newtboy says...

Shwing!
That's some hard core *quality *motorsports porn. Gt40's always get my motor running hot. Hubba hubba.
*promote the epitome of GT sex symbols.
I need a cold shower now. *pant*

Blade Runner 2049: Most Complicated Sex Scene of All Time

Fairbs says...

I thought it felt tacked on; I think artistically or symbolically it had significance, but I don't think it added much for me; maybe it could have been part of an extended version for the hard core Blade Runner people

Jinx said:

Quite possibly.

Interestingly the people I went to see it with thought the film would have been better without Joi... personally I would have missed it, if not for anything else then for this scene alone.

Solo Sabotage Trailer

cloudballoon says...

Hmmm... I can understand the intent is to drum up the hype & interest for Solo, but really, I think the PR machine is just spinning in circles and going through the motions for the paychecks. These teasers are not going to convince the hard core SW fans that the movie will be good/worthy of the SW name. Oh well, it is meant for the general public.

For as a rich universe as Star Wars, I can stomach the terrible movies. I can mental-block those because there are plenty of other mediums that can tell much better SW stories. Sadly I put ever less and less hope that the big movies can kindle the love of the property. As many of the movie-making analysis videos say, modern SFX bonanza is really more of a hindrance than complimentary to better film-making.

My main enjoyment of SW now comes from the books, comics and the model kits I build. The movies, not so much.

Republican lawmaker say black people cant handle marijuana

ulysses1904 says...

What is it about the word "basically"? I always considered it a gateway word that leads to hard core usage of "like", "actually", "literally" and "kind of". I've watched friends die of, you know, like, "whatever".

John Oliver - Opioid Epidemic

newtboy says...

Ok...his brother died from alcoholism, which turned him hard core against drugs like opioids and marijuana, and a little bit against alcohol.
Typical Trump, misidentify a problem then attack something else. Want to help keep citizens alive? Make marijuana legal and alcohol illegal. States with legal marijuana all have lowered rates of opioid deaths in their states.

Trump Russian connection proven.

newtboy says...

Derp.....more cherry picking history to support an agenda.

Probably the same people telling Bob that the Republicans are champions of civil rights and democrats support slavery...as if the 50's and 60's didn't happen.

Did Trump produce this?

Tsarist Russia was a very different place. They have not been our allies for around 70 years now.
Perhaps Russia isn't exactly the USSR any more, but they will be soon if Putin has his way...and Trump seems ok with that. Remember, Putin is a hard core Soviet KGB agent, he wants his satellite countries back.

Ghost In The Shell - Trailer #2

Zawash says...

Fortunately, a western adaptation will also tone down any kindergarten up-skirt tee hee, if present. Hard core Japanese anime isn't necessarily all good.

RedSky said:

Honestly, it's an adaptation for Western audiences. Of course the lead is going to be white. I'm more concerned the subject material is inevitably going to be dumbed down.

Oregon Polar Bear Awakes to Snow. BLISS!

JustSaying says...

I wish I could down-vote your comment.
Who the fuck eats Polar-Bears and Elephants?
I get it, you're a hard-core vegan but this is getting ridiculous. As if anybody eats Otter.
The destruction of our eco-system by humans is a very serious problem. You're not helping with this. And this is coming from a guy who likes sausage. The food where you grind up an animal corpse to a fine paste and stuff it into its own colon for consumption.
Again, I get your point, I just strongly disagree with your method. You're not helping your own cause.

We can all help to keep these beautiful creatures alive by consuming less meat (preferably none):-)
The choice and power to help or harm them is ours, with every meal.

Honest Government Ad For Proposed Australian Coal Mine

newtboy says...

*quality project there, mates. Good on ya, break down those barriers to progress with some hard core regression, that'll confuse those annoying hippies.

Sounds like I better get my ass to the great barrier reef if I want to see it.

President Trump: How & Why...

radx says...

Do you know who "those people" are? I don't.

There are some people whose ideology is easily identified and most likely well-entrenched: KKK, white supremacists, nazis, take your pick. They are difficult to talk to and even more difficult to persuade.

I happen to live near a popular gathering spot for nazis (real nazis, not just someone you don't like) and have tried many times over the years: it's no bueno.

But that's only the hard core, a fraction of the ~60 million votes for Trump. If you put all of them into the corner of shame and refuse to interact with them, much less try to understand their point of view, you'll never know their reasoning for voting the way they did. You'll only push them away, reinforcing any feeling of being left behind or ignored by the, for a lack of a better word, liberals. That's no bueno either. Want to see how that turns out? Look at the state of Brandenburg in Germany.

You can either try to breach their echo chamber in an attempt to convince them of your perspective or you'll end up with either an even more divided country than before or a second Trump presidency (or Trump 2.0). It's an uncomfortable thing to do, but looking at the emergence of safe spaces, trigger warnings, blatant groupthink and whatnot on certain university campuses, some people seem to have become outright allergic towards differing opinions -- that's highly unhealthy for a society.

Understand, I'm not saying that you CAN'T be a racist, sexist asshole (within legal limits obviously, no assaulting people, etc).

But I am saying that we don't need to discuss or "engage" with those people.

Dr Hook - "Sharing The Night Together"

newtboy says...

Really? No one even wants to watch this awesome old school smooth grove, much less vote for it?
I had forgotten this song until I saw it on Family Guy and had to look up who sang it...I'm glad I did.
The same group that sang 'when you're in love with a beautiful woman', 'walk right in', and the ironic (coming from a guy wearing an eye patch) 'sexy eyes'.
Some great hard core 70's smooth rock I couldn't remember, but will never forget.

Crazy 4X4 wheel handling‬

newtboy says...

HA!!! As I saw it, that's Hilux FAIL!
The point of ramps like this in my experience is to see how much your suspension can flex. The Hilux didn't do so well, that wheel is pretty high up in the air. My '73 Jeep CJ-5, which is built for 4 wheeling hard core trails like The Rubicon, and has done that one twice, might not lift a tire on that ramp.

ChaosEngine said:

That's some serious cross-axling!

Hilux FTW!

bareboards2 says...

So sorry that your quote is being down voted.

Clearly, those folks don't have loved ones who are vegan for ethical reasons, and don't understand the pain of being so empathetic.

I'm not vegan, I'm not even vegetarian. And I know that vegans are smart, caring and intelligent.

Condolences on this reception to accurate words.

(When even hard core Republicans like George Will say that our factory farm practices are horrendous, you know that they damn well are.)

“Both vegans and non-vegans live in state of disconnect. Non-vegans disconnect from that fact that billions of nonhuman animals are enslaved, tortured, confined and violently murdered for their pleasure, preferences and entertainment. Vegans live in a state of disconnect so that our hearts don’t shatter into a million pieces moment by moment due to the fact that billions of non-humans are being exploited and the people we love continue to participate. Vegans have to disconnect just to be able to get through the day.” -The Thinking Vegan

Badass 9 Year Old Completes Navy Seal Obstacle Course

newtboy says...

Oh. I was going to be right there with you on this...because it didn't read like clickbait to me....BUT...there was no video of her completing the course, or on it at all. I think that's why it's being called clickbait.

It should have said 'the badass 9 year old that completed navy seal obstacle course', because the title as is clearly falsely implies that the video is of her on the course. I'm guessing that you copied the title, but YT titles are often click bait.
What this video was wasn't worth watching, but seeing her compete on the hard core adult course might be.

Gratefulmom said:

Really Sagemind? Clickbait again...now how is this click bait? This one was much shorter, but I happened to like it better than the others, it gave just enough info, but still got the story told..where is the click bait there? I believe the words click bait are being used to generally around here....:(

Cougar released from trap

newtboy says...

What kind of douchebag still uses that kind of foot breaking trap? I think they should have one attached to each limb and be left pinned to the ground somewhere they won't be found, like they do to random animals.
Hunting is one thing, indiscriminate trapping like this is nothing more than random hard core animal abuse by lazy or terrible people.
