Haitian Election Complete Disaster! Fraud Rampant!

TSA: Makes 4yo boy remove his leg braces, and insist he walk

>> ^quantumushroom:

I take no pleasure in the fact innocents have to be searched, but if you're going to piss off anyone, how about the demographic and "religion" responsible for terrorist acts 99.99% of the time? Maybe some of these fictional "moderate" Muslims might actually stop and ponder why they let jihadist vermin represent their religion.
BTW, now that you've "seen the light" about the stupidity and low qualifications of a large swath of TSAers, are you ready for the same gorogs being hired as Government Medical Techs? Same efficiency, same grace. It's only a matter of time.
>> ^Ryjkyj:
Either way you look at it QM, they've never found ONE bomb. Not one. Ever.

For "Terroristic Acts" see War in Iraq, War in Afganistan, War on Terror, Vietnam War, Gulf War, Gulf War Sanctions, Invasion of Haiti, Invasion of Grenada, Funding Militias in Nicaragua who attack soft targets.

See where I'm going here...to much of the world we are the terrorists.

Oh good, more Leibowitz bigotry.

See people aren't naturally this way...it has to be drilled into them to not care about other human beings and it takes a lot.

People have a right not to care about everyone, and to care about one group or cause more than another. Sending money to Haiti is one step removed from simply tossing it in a lit furnace. There is no infrastructure and no legitimate government there. Besides, these countries don't need any more imperialist American dollars.

But hey, if you feel that strongly about this, waltz down to your local unemployment office (always crowded thanks to obamanomics!) and explain to them why a billion dollars of their tax monies should go towards making zero difference in the Toilet of the Western Hemisphere.

1/3 of Pakistan underwater, no one knows, no one cares

Hey, anyone remember when there was an earthquake in Haiti?

What about way back when Louisiana was getting drenched in oil from an oil spill? Seems like forever ago.

How about that Hurricane whatsitsname that hit them? Wasn't that like 25 years ago or something?

But 9/11 must've happened just last year, right?

It's amazing how quickly everyone forgets something once it's not in the *news anymore.

When the Haiti quake happened, there were postings on the best ways to give money. Are there similar things about giving money to Pakistan?

Few things. First pakistan doesn't care, second, they've repeatedly refused help(especially from those "evil" jew and christian aid groups). Third, they have a taxation rate of 4% of the total population, and refuse to tax anyone in order to save themselves.

Islam: A black hole of progress.

I think given a bit of time I could reach the same correlation with countries the US has attacked and nearly destroyed or has effected extremely negatively. I could prove up to at least the video posters standards that the US military does more for stifling science and general well being of other countries populations than anything else on earth. So to me this is an incredibly simplistic look and conclusion to come to when you're talking about humans and their development throughout history.

You mean like.. Japan?
Alright, so thats 65 years ago, but i mean, Japan was really, really fucked. Before the A-bombs, the destruction level of japanese cities ranged from 50-90% completely destroyed. Every single city. But today Japan is the most technologically advanced nation on earth. It rose from the ashes. so did germany, and Vietnam, and so many other countries that have been bombed to bits, whether its by the US or anyone else. if you want more recent examples, go to Croatia/former Yugoslavia. War is a terrible thing, and yes, the aftereffects are terrible and can last for centuries (just ask any child born near Hiroshima the last 65 years) But it is not sufficient reason to be stuck in the dark ages.

No that's a single event and then they got a chance to build themselves up. That's not like say Haiti who has been terrorized by the US for the last century or Cuba who's been terrorized for the last 50 years. It's not the same Japan vs Iran for example which we have been trying to stomp into the ground through various means for 50 years as well.

To me this is just way to complex the world is too complex. You can say Islam is stunting science if you want but the way he's going about proving it is incomplete.

Great stuff. I admire how Zach wears a false beard 90% of the time so that on the odd occasion he can play his own twin brother. Dedication to character like that is great!
BTW, if you're interested, Penn was interviewed by Democracy Now! a couple of months ago in Haiti:

He was pretty serious over there, great to see him playing along for this interview

What do you mean his beard is "false"? It's not a real beard???

Of course it's real. I guess sometimes he just cuts it for some other parts or something, and takes the chance to play his twin brother.

Or every once in a while he gets tired of having a full beard and shaves it.
