Can't fool the tooth faery

newtboy says...

Boy, will she be surprised to find out Mom is a snitch for the tooth fairy and totally tipped off that cheapskate dentophile. I hope for mom's sake she's never heard the saying 'snitches get stiches'.

On another note, are her teeth so bad that she really thought a folded piece of paper was an indistinguishable substitute? I think she should have tried a rock.

This Entire Football Pitch is Retractable!

maatc says...

Can`t find the "edit" button, so here is additional info:

Entire structure below the southern stands can be folded away to make room for the pitch to slide through. Structure is designed to act like a bridge, but this can of course only be done when no spectators are in the stands above.

Great, I'll never ever be able to fold a paperplane again without feeling stupid.

Also: 'Here's the tower and here's the flower' could be a line of dialogue from the most poetic porno in existence.

How They Sauce A Pizza At Costco

Call me crazy, but I really like their pizza. Large New York-style pizza that you have to fold to really eat properly. Fairly decent slice of pepperoni.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Australia Dogs Countdown

MilkmanDan says...

I disagree, because PR rule #1 for politicians / elected officials is:
Suck up to your constituents and tell them exactly what they want to hear.

I'd wager that most Aussies are quite pleased that he didn't fold like a cheap suit and grant a PR-friendly exception to Depp just because he's "some famous cunt". The Aussies I know don't beat around the bush or mince words, which is something that I personally find very refreshing.

I think the only way to disagree with Oliver is that you think Barnaby acted like a professional politician in this case. He completely didn't.

This is pretty much a no-brainer to handle politically. PR rule #1 is don't say in a public interview, "We're gonna kill/euthanize/terminate/murder/wax/put down/exterminate/execute/massacre/slay his dogs."

I'm not a politician, and even I know that. Even when he got his way, go on twitter like a vindictive prick? Really, what is he, a 5 year old?!

New Method For Making Wood Corners For Drawers Or Boxes

AeroMechanical says...

Very cool and very clever, but if the goal is speed and simplicity what makes it better than cutting a v-groove with a router and folding that together? Is it that much stronger? Seems like something worth patenting, but unless the shape isn't as relatively arbitrary as it seems, surely there is some variation on it that's better in some way, and could you patent that? Seems like it might be jumping the gun to announce it before iterating the design and perhaps applying some computer analysis.

Lily-Throw And Go-Auto Tracking Camera Quad Copter

ChaosEngine says...

It looks like a cheaper version of the Hexo+.

Nothing wrong with that, but I think I'd prefer a real gimbal instead of a digital one. It also really needs to fold up.
