Easy Way to Get Over the American-Mexican Border
I tested out crossing the border a couple of months ago into Nogales Sonora Mexico. It was as simple as walking through an outdoor hallway through a turnstile. No security, the only thing you see are taxi drivers calling to you and people trying to take you to the legit pharmacies where you can get all of the shitty prescription pharmaceuticals you have to pay an arm and a leg for in the US for next to nothing. Getting back in, you could give them an EXPIRED PASSPORT and nothing else if you wanted.
Also, went back to go to a dentist that cleaned my toofs better than any dentist in the US has at a fraction of the cost.
"Call to a member function query() on null" errors. (Wtf Talk Post)
Ha. Good. See, we're not going crazy! I wonder if this error started because of the SSL expiration five days ago as mentioned in https://videosift.com/talk/Certificate-expired ... I never saw the errors before that incident. Did anyone else noticed that? We need more datas.
Gah!
Just got it on the homepage. I'm investigating.
Certificate expired (Sift Talk Post)
Yep, it expired last night at 11:00 PM PDT. It was fixed.
Machine Gun Attack On Las Vegas Concert
Hmmmm...but it's pretty exclusively a right wing position that ANY regulation on firearms is inconceivable, and Republicans exclusively are responsible for those modifications, like bump stocks, something he used to make at least one gun rapid fire, being legal. They also allowed the assault weapons ban to expire, allowing him to legally purchase up to 40 easily converted military style rifles. In fact, they were about to make silencers much easier to get, which would have increased the mayhem by giving him longer to shoot before people realized what was happening, but held back because of the massacre.
....soooooo...you do have to defend the availability of automatic guns, because you vote for and support the people that keep them easily available and want to make it easier....assuming you aren't really Dimitri from Moscow.
Not much known about him yet, not political, not religious, just a rich retired gambler according to his family.
Not cool. So I am to defend the availability of automatic guns. I can't. I suppose he conveted these into automatic. I am on vacation and not paying much attention to this.
I would think no conservative would shoot at country music fans.
What is known about this guy.??
Senator McCain's Bizarre Questioning To James Comey
"The senator's time's expired."
Indeed.
Touching the Void - Full HD Version
I haven't clue. But I do know it will be expired soon.
@BSR.... is this public domain?
Burger Flippers Beware! Robots Are Here To Take Your Jobs!
Not sure why you need a bot to flip the burger. McDonald's uses a double sided grill that comes down on top of the burgers and cooks the top at the same time. You just need a way of moving the burgers from the storage, to the grill and from the grill to the holding trays, and insure the holding trays are emptied when the food expires (compared to the usual, just rotate and hope they sell before they technically expired)... based on my time in McDonald's you could also automate the fries, as the machine already dispenses the pre-measured amount into the basket, from there it would be easy enough to move that basket right into the fryer and then out and into the tray and salt them as needed.
Tears In The Rain - Blade Runner fan film shot for $1500
Definitely impressive work for the budget.
While watching it, I couldn't shake my discomfort over the fact that this Blade Runner is rather cruel in his approach to his job. He's part of decommissioning an entire series of replicants. Does he go to every single one and destroy their universe as they die? What kind of sadistic person does that?
And couldn't the manufacturer think of a better way to shut down old units? It seems like using emergency services personnel to individually locate and turn off toasters that are past their warranty date is a waste of public funds. How about just giving the replicants a subconscious urge to migrate to a corporate facility at the appropriate time?
"I don't know why I came here today."
"Don't worry about it, just let me take a look at this expiration date next to the power switch on your neck."
"Wait! I remember things I wasn't programmed foooorrrrrrrr...."
"Did he say something?"
"Dunno. He's powered off now."
I could make that film for $500."

Do you mean a discarded vid? You just need to have two power points available, and do a *promote (same applies to vids that have expired and gone to your pqueue, but you also have the chance to send them to beggar's canyon with *beg and one power point).
Some people will also kill a video that doesn't go anywhere and then re-submit it later, which doesn't cost any power points. I don't ever remember doing that myself, although I have occasionally self promoted vids.
Which video did you want to requeue?
How do I resubmit a video to the queue.
I have seen others do it...how is it done?

Did he say the starting point for the expiration of the universe while showing a graphic of Imperial ships?

balcom is a vegan but also a reseacher in animal behavior. the nutritionfacts.org site uses only peer reviewed articles on deit, health and nutrition.
btw, wanting to be eaten after you expire is quite different than murdering you in order to consume your corpse, which is what is done in the case of the 10 billion farmed animals who are killed every year in the USA alone.
Uh...yeah...OK. Let's remove all protein from your brain and see how that goes.
Another vegan propaganda site.
How about find a site that's not vegan propaganda, but an actual mainstream scientific site that publishes scientific studies that are peer reviewed, tested, and repeated...or can you not find any that support your position?
I DO want to be eaten when I die.
Check and mate.

how climate change deniers sound to normal people
The point of the video.
I've used well over 100 condoms, and never once had a failure, a pregnancy, or an STD. Then again, I not only read the instructions, I was also shown how to use them, and I don't try to use expired or damaged condoms, or store them in heat and sun, or any of the other things people often do wrong with them....so you're wrong, they are not only >98% effective in labs...they have been 100% effective in my experience, for instance, which is >98%, and not in a lab. ;-)
It is not a lazy abandonment of people who disagree with me, it's a long over due abandonment of people who disagree with reality and science (honestly or not) usually in order to be a roadblock for action.
The skeptics have had their hearings, time and time again. At some point, you must admit that those still 'skeptical' either pick and choose/misinterpret information that allows that mindset, are knowingly lying for some gain, or are completely ignorant and only listening to those that pick and choose information or are liars, and they're doing so willfully. Because further 'debate' is consistently at the expense of any overdue mitigating action, and action is imperative for long term survival, the time for more 'listening' to deniers should have ended decades ago.
Examining theories with a critical eye and being a denier are not the same thing by far. Deniers examine theories with a pre-conception, and if it's not agreed with, they discard the theory, then figure out a reason why.
Deniers aren't 'skeptics', they're conspiracy theorists. The only way their argument stands up is if they can convince you that the overwhelming majority of scientists are actually not scientists, but are really just liars that somehow stand to make a fortune if they convince people of the big lie....to most people that's just nuts....and to reasonable people it's long past time to stop giving the nuts equal time and consideration.
And which point and answer would that be? It's pretty clear you're wrong. You're moving into delusional territory.
Health happens to be my area. Condoms are only >98% effective in lab settings. My numbers are from longitudinal studies. In other words, it reflects the average user's results. They are not from anti-sex education organisations. Go look them up - there are lots of studies. Interestingly condom's have similar rates (80% to 90%) of stopping HIV transmission for exactly the same reasons. Even lower in some studies.
Don't be a snob. Education is the path forward. Your lazy abandonment of people because they disagreed with you is stone age thinking.
Anthony Giddens addresses sceptics in his book "The Politics of Climate Change": "Yet the sceptics do deserve and must receive a hearing. Scepticism is the life-blood of science and just as important in policy-making. It is right that whatever claims are made about climate change and its consequences are examined with a critical, even hostile, eye and in a continuing fashion."
Note: Anthony Giddens is very much not a sceptic and his book is an analysis of how to better achieve real action on climate change.
Buy These Tickets Or I Take Your Car
My understanding is in California your car can be towed and impounded by an officer if your vehicle is six months out of registration.
Ive been pulled over with expired tags multiple times. They have used it as an excuse to check me out. I've been let go the couple times its happened to me. One time just had a good conversation about disk golf after he saw my disks in the car. Another time he wanted to search my car, which i refused. Then i was given a drunk test and grilled about why he couldn't search my car. He ended up just letting me go.
I highly doubt your car can be impounded for driving with an expired registration , even in PA. That is very nearly the least significant traffic violation there is. Of course, the police lie about that sort of thing all the time, which is probably the case here.

Even though people hate them, this is actually one of the reasons I'm all for automated traffic policing devices such as speed cams, stoplight cams and even more advanced devices as technology allows (with proper care for privacy in data collection). In the US, for instance, everybody knows you can generally drive up to 9 miles an hour over the speed limit without worry. This should not be the case. The police let this happen because if everybody is always technically speeding because that's just what's done, they can justifiably pull over and hassle whoever whenever they want to (read: minorities).
