Desi Lydic Foxsplains: Why Did Putin Invade Ukraine?

newtboy says...

Sorry if I’m being over sensitive….anything that seems to legitimize the bastardized definition of CRT, in my eyes, is buying into the intentional political ruse to paint any anti racism program, plan, or organization, even unpleasant history with the “CRT” label (and everyone knows CRT is the Devil), and I find that upsetting, even when it’s unintentional….maybe more so when it’s unintentional because that means the rebranding and improper conflation is working.

I think you know, CRT is an advanced law class taken by law students, not a racist movement to erase white people from history as the right claims, not a diabolical plan to make all white children self hating BLM activists, and it really irks me how successful the publicly admitted, intentional, blatantly racist scapegoating and misrepresentation has worked.

It seemed you were accepting the right wing definition even as you dismissed the (I assume anti) “CRT” movement by comparing it to unconstitutional anti German/foreign language laws in the past. Apologies if I misunderstood or came across as accusatory.

When I was 15 riding my motorcycle on the road, I almost got ran over. My best estimate is that I miss getting ran over by 1/10 of a second. I did get banged up.

The guy was 92 and sued for damages. Went to arbitration and his layer showed but the guy had died from being old. The case was dismissed.

I still ride but this is always in my mind. It did change the way I ride.

Disagreement About Masks at Christmas 2021 in Math Class

newtboy says...

@bcglorf
Reading bible passages in class as “something we can all agree on” is the definition of proselytizing to a captive audience….and outside of private religious schools is totally inappropriate.

It’s not “fun” to be ostracized in public because you believe different mythology or are smart enough to ignore all stone aged mythology…..really only disbelieving one more myth than the believers.

Getting the season completely wrong because you don’t know it was chosen to make it easier to use religion as a political tool is a bit different from “the exact date being inaccurate”. It’s an outright, bold faced, well documented lie, created as a political ploy from the 4th century used to degrade and absorb Zoasterism/Mithraism in order to control the masses politically. That is absolutely a “credibility” issue, and if you don’t get it, that’s an education and/or ethics issue. Christianity has many major credibility issues, being “created” (codified) as a political tool is just one of them. Stealing almost every bit of the mythology from previous religions and denying it is another.

Yes, the misuse of Fauci clips out of context is another issue of truthfulness here, but those who are intentionally ignorant of the reality they just lived through are lost and not worth wasting my breath on. As anyone with two brain cells knows, the first, “you don’t need to wear a mask in public” was recommended at that time because a massive mask shortage meant health care workers had to reuse paper masks sometimes for months during a major pandemic, (and clearly they needed priority on the limited supply) not because we had information saying they weren’t useful….but that’s a minor detail of history I feel only brain dead ignoramuses consider in question, relevant, or factual, and they have discarded fact, truth, reason, and logic in favor of their cult of personality….so there’s no real point arguing with them. Just let them get Covid and hope for EIA.

Preaching one religion in a public class room and claiming “we all agree” is a continuation of a much more pernicious, long term, continuing battle for the religious freedom our country was founded on, and I find it outrageous and anti American that you dismiss it as nothing. I can only hope your children’s teachers aren’t a vastly different, contradictory religion than you and they don’t teach your children that everyone agrees with their religion, not yours, and don’t use proveable fallacies to make their point….but if they do I’ll be here to dismiss your concerns.

What did I tell you!?! States rights! Suckers! Bwaaaahahahahaha!

“I am outraged by yesterday’s U.S. Supreme Court decision allowing Texas’s ban on most abortion services to remain in place,” Newsom said. “But if states can now shield their laws from review by the federal courts that compare assault weapons to Swiss Army knives, then California will use that authority to protect people’s lives, where Texas used it to put women in harm’s way.” Newsom said he will work with his staff, the Legislature and California Attorney General Rob Bonta to craft a bill that would let citizens sue anyone who “manufactures, distributes, or sells an assault weapon or ghost gun kit or parts” in California. They could seek damages of at least $10,000 per violation plus costs and attorney’s fees, Newsom said.

I told you this would happen.

BTW, the Presidential coup Plan PowerPoint handed over by Meadows pretty much obliterated the lies that 1) it wasn’t an attempted coup 2) it wasn’t expected 3) it wasn’t planned 4) it wasn’t Trump supporters being violent and 5) the white house wasn’t directly involved.
Contemporaneous records of the planning, including texts to organizers and militias claiming that the national guard is poised to protect Trump rioters from arrest or attack….as if any non cultist needed more evidence beyond the live broadcast of the coup attempt, but now there’s publicly available physical documentation/evidence directly from the highest levels in Trump’s cabinet of their own direct involvement in the planning to overturn the certified election by fraud and force.….which I’m certain you will dismiss as fake news with no hint of evidence because your little brain can’t handle facts.

the PowerPoint laid out a plan to effectively use the military to steal the election outright, undeniably. That’s treason.

The plan was to use the military, specifically the national guard, declare a state of emergency, throw out most of the ballots from the 2020 election, and then have the national guard run by people that Trump handpicked himself count only the paper ballots that they deemed to be legitimate. essentially giving them a free ride to throw out any ballots that were for Biden. Only count the ones for Trump and boom, Donald Trump gets all the electoral votes. That's how the coup was supposed to happen. So again, these lawmakers were briefed on this two days before the capital riot. So they knew exactly what Donald Trump was trying to do, what his administration, what his friends, what his allies had suggested to him. There is no indication at all that one of these lawmakers alerted the department of justice, the FBI, local authorities, anyone, they had this information and they did nothing with it.

Any official who knew and didn’t report to the FBI or DOJ should be removed immediately, get the firing squad, and their entire estate (and their spouses estate, and minor children’s estates) seized. That’s a lot of Republicans.

Also, Fox hosts, the same ones who now claim Jan 6 was a peaceful picnic, families calmly touring congress, and it was BLM and ANTIFA and the FBI that perpetrated the violence that didn’t happen, were all frantically trying to reach the president to stop the attack on January 6, outraged he wouldn’t tell his supporters to stop attacking America, explaining how not acting to stop the coup was destroying his legacy and theirs.

Lol. Today the defense was intimidated by a silent, unobtrusive Jesse Jackson and begged the court to remove the scary black man. The judge refused, as he said he would.
Awaiting your kindergarten level of misunderstanding and dismissal because you don’t like facts…like before when you said….

” That being said The prosecutor job is to paint the defendant in negative light.
These are not facts.
Again you push false truth.”

Again, it’s the defense being overtly racist and fearful of calm black men who aren’t disruptive one whit….just like his human hunting clients.

newtboy said:

Bob, it’s on video. Unedited video (unlike the kind your sources produce to create faux outrage), so not the kind you would believe. Facts aren’t for the right anyway, no wonder you can never identify them.

The defense attorney (not the prosecutor) argued in court on video that allowing another calm, silent, black pastor to sit with the family was equivalent to having the courtroom packed with white Colonel Sanders masked men.

Here’s news coverage..Starts around :24

Again, you dismiss fact because it’s not far right propaganda, but you believe Italian space lasers can change paper ballots through multiple layers of buildings and containers, that vaccines have mind control nanobots that are going to make you vote Democrat, but still want to congratulate Trump for getting them produced (even though he had nothing to do with producing them), you believe covid was an attack by China (that Trump failed to respond to even though it’s killed 3/4 of a million Americans), you probably believe eating babies grants eternal youth, I know for certain you don’t contradict those who do, you even believe Trump won an election!

Again, as usual, you just deny the truth any time it’s unpleasant for you. So sad, little man.

I verify through multiple sources and post those dumbed down enough that you COULD understand them….if only you had the balls to not just dismiss them because they aren’t right wing propaganda, which is 99.9% lies you believe. Derp.
One source was his Wiki page, where the quote and his political affiliations by year are listed…dumb ass….but it has fact and citation, so it’s not for you, must be leftist…..so much it doesn’t even register. Also, if you Google it, every page that comes up says the same thing.

Cranial rectosis is curable, bob. You just gotta pull out.

The quotes are real, you are afraid to admit it because you’re a sniveling baby, you don’t remember them because you have the brain of a drunken gnat. Look them up, idiot. (I know you won’t, you don’t have the testicular fortitude for such endeavors.) hilariously, you probably won’t find it on any of your Trumpist propaganda sites, but if you use something like wayback machine you could find it on every right wing site in 2015, before he took over the right wing for profit. Now the right has rewritten it’s history and gone to great lengths to erase such inconvenient facts, because you guys care so much about truth and fact.
🤦‍♂️

Hilarious you can’t ever discuss the claims, you have to just dismiss any evidence that didn’t come from another far right internet troll, and call anything that isn’t bat shit crazy hyper partisan right wing propaganda “leftist” and dismiss it, that’s why you’re a fact free moron. You prefer Trump’s blatant lies to fact or reason. You believe long dead Venezuelans interfered in our election and that the thousands of verified Trump coup warriors were really Democrats trying to steal an election for their enemy from their choice despite the long term history of every single terrorist being a hard core Republican activist.

Sorry, buddy. Trump is really a RINO by his own admission, and has repeatedly said publicly that only Republicans are dumb enough to ignore his past and elect him….he was right. Gullible know nothing idiots like you are his only true believers.

You simply deny reality, and trust the least trustworthy people you can find because they tell you pleasant but obvious lies. That’s called being infantile, bob….like a little baby.

Not exactly, but the source isn’t really the question, is it.
Point to something not true. I can do that every single time you post some cut and paste propaganda. At least I give you the courtesy of watching/reading my sources and giving you a synopsis.
But you can’t point to a factual error. That’s why you just summarily dismiss it. It saves you from failing at debunking it.

Maybe look it up. Just because it’s not covered on OAN doesn’t mean it isn’t verifiable fact, in fact it makes that more likely.

China isn’t at war with America like those at the capitol on Jan 6 were/are. Sorry…fail.
Also, giving aid and comfort? Like Trump did until February 2020? Remember who supported the extermination of the Uyghurs? The expansion of territorial waters? The crackdown in Beijing? Not Biden.

Don’t have the will to do which part? Disqualification? You’re probably correct, and that may lead to the end of the U S. Democrats are spineless when it comes to enforcing rules and laws against Republicans. Allowing such anti American, anti Democratic actions to go unanswered at the highest levels can only lead to dissolution of the union….an idea that would make Red America a third world country and give Blue America trillions in federal funds back yearly because red states wouldn’t be sponging off us constantly.

Lol. I would think you would have sworn off predicting elections by now. You got the last two 100% wrong.

Lol. I forgot, after admitting it was utter nonsense, you instantly returned to claiming it was ANTIFA and BLM, despite every charge being against Trumpists. Supporting the insurrection, like Green, Bohbert, and other Trumpists have, makes them supporters of terrorist insurectionists and they continue to give them aid and comfort. Duh.

Yeah…in your fantasy world where Trump is president, Jan 6 didn’t happen, was a nothing burger, and was a murderous anti American terrorist attack by ANTIFA.

Republicans love fraudulent biased slanted fake investigations, they loved the one in Az, and want more in every state.

LMFAHS. I’m easily fooled?!? Aaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha……..ha……ha……aaaaaaaaaahahahahahaaaaaa! You’re too much.

You always think I get my info from CNN….I assume because in your mind that means you can ignore and dismiss it without even reading, much less investigating. 1) you’re wrong, that’s not my news source and 2) CNN is exponentially more trustworthy than ANY news source you’ve EVER cited.

Awwwww…..did the bad man make wittle Bobby cry hurt. Such infants you and your ilk are. Unpatriotic infantile babies drunk on sour grapes.

I don't think Democrat controlled Congress have the will to do this. But you never know. Biden is a sinking ship and will lead to a wide loss in 2022.

AS for you gibberish implying Republicans are part of the Jan 6 is pure rubbish.

Republicans have nothing to do with jan 6 and voted against the fraudulent biased slanted faked investigation. Who wouldn't?

McKayla Maroney blasts FBI over handling of Nassar case

newtboy says...

Wrong. He admitted it, and admitted knowing it was wrong.
They had him on tape telling the Russian ambassador to ignore the Obama sanctions because Trump would remove them asap, so he had no other option.
He also admitted to lying about it under oath to the fbi (tried to hide it because he knew it was illegal, possibly treason), then tried to backtrack when his deal didn't seem so good anymore.

Then he was pardoned by Trump, they didn't just drop the case you fucking liar.

Accepting the pardon is an admission of guilt, (edit: something Flynn has now done at least three separate times on these charges) and legally requires a dismissal which the judge granted, but specifically said he was still guilty.

I would rather be thought an elitist by middle school dropouts who think they know everything but in reality are 100% wrong >98% of the time and partially wrong the rest of the time than be one of them.
Elitist!?! Lol. Are we back in 2016!? What do you think that word means?
Elitist: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/elitist
a: giving special treatment and advantages to wealthy and powerful people
b: regarding other people as inferior because they lack power, wealth, or status
That hardly fits, I think the rich should pay MORE by percentage of income, not LESS. Technically "special treatment", but definitely not more advantages.

Q: Do you think Trump is elitist? Explain your answer. (Pretty sure you just decided elitism is good).

If you would read, and not just insanity that agrees with your preconceptions, if you weren't so smarmy and dismissive whenever you THINK you have some point to make or gotcha tidbit of data, acting like a third grader who just took the last desert at lunch taunting the next in line, your bad grammar wouldn't get you ridiculed so often and you would be far less aggressive about making your mistaken points, and would again receive less ridicule.

But instead you swing nonsense with vitriol and hate like a club, clearly trying to do damage, but your club is a fake made of foam rubber lies, making it impossible to not smack you down every time you try to knock someone out with it and stand dumbstruck that it bounced back into your face.
If you're gonna be dumb, you better be tough.-Jackass

This time you're again wrong about what you claim, you backed yourself into a corner by claiming this IS your area of expertise and by deriding others without personal hands on experience in the field, then you got the facts completely backwards....as usual...then hid from your mistakes....as usual.

Again, I'll ask for 3 examples of that 1/3 of what I say that's wrong. I post enough that you should be able to find 3 from yesterday alone. I don't really expect you'll answer, because I don't think you can.

US sues to block TX abortion law

newtboy says...

Really...You saw a HEART beating at 6 weeks. You're a liar....not a new revelation btw. You've been a proud liar for years.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists also has said in a statement, “What is interpreted as a heartbeat in these bills is actually electrically-induced flickering of a portion of the fetal tissue that will become the heart as the embryo develops. Thus, ACOG does not use the term ‘heartbeat’ to describe these legislative bans on abortion because it is misleading language, out of step with the anatomical and clinical realities of that stage of pregnancy.”

I do not believe you work in as a medical device service tech (which wouldn't include ANY medical training, now would it) but can't spell or read above a third grade level. It's just not believable....not that it would indicate any medical knowledge if true.

Again, seeing a PULSE is not seeing a heartbeat. If they say they saw a heart at 6 weeks, report them, they're delusional. What they call it has nothing to do with reality....many nurses are anti vaxers Q followers, being in the medical field doesn't make one reasonable, logical, or right. Techs aren't doctors....and doctors fudge the truth to avoid conflict. Press them, they'll admit there's no heart, unless like you they prefer a comfortable lie to the hard truth, and believe it's better to tell a lie than a truth that might hurt your position. Probably shouldn't have admitted you think that.

Here's a citation for you to dismiss as fake news....https://www.factcheck.org/2019/07/when-are-heartbeats-audible-during-pregnancy/

Btw, I stand corrected, except for changes in the muscle tissue, the basic heart is apparently formed by week 13, not 20. The muscle tissue matures around week 20. I'm always willing to admit when I'm wrong, unlike some.

Personal experience? BSEET Penn State.
33 years as a medical Field service Engineer.

28 years working for Global conglomerates and 5 years in house at UNC Chapel hill NC.
I’ve been with Siemens Medical and General Electric most of my career.
I’ve serviced/ install Cathlabs, Vascular labs, Rad/ RF rooms and Mammo rooms. Plus others.

Last 20 years installing / servicing Medical Ultrasound.
This includes Cardiac, Radiology ultrasound and Woman’s health, OBGYN
I’ve seen more ultrasounds hearts and heartbeats than you can imagine..
Being Hippa compliant, I look at images for quality and for servicing.

All the Techs I talk to say the same . Heartbeat starts about the 6 to 10 week of pregnancy
And yes there are images that capture this along with all the other images and measurements. Doppler is used for this.

Per quick Google search
When does the heartbeat show on ultrasound?
A fetal heartbeat may first be detected by a vaginal ultrasound as early as 5 1/2 to 6 weeks after gestation. That's when a fetal pole, the first visible sign of a developing embryo, can sometimes be seen. But between 6 1/2 to 7 weeks after gestation, a heartbeat can be better assessed.

newtboy says...

Kind of, but the head of department is morally and ethically obligated to make note of the subordinate who made the actual discovery or breakthrough and usually shares the prize at least if it doesn’t go directly to the discovery maker alone. This is especially true when the head misinterprets and discards the data and denies any discovery was made until the discoverer, on their own, forms a hypothesis, tests it, and repeats it, all without the head of department’s involvement.

In this case, one person made the discovery and the department head dismissed it, then that subordinate on her own continued her investigation and formed her own hypothesis, tested and verified it, and only then her department head became convinced, then took ALL credit for the discovery with no mention of her. That is NOT how scientific teams work.

This wasn’t just her discovery, she figured out what it was too…her hypothesis and her testing, her repeating the discovery, almost certainly her writing it up. If she were a man, she definitely would have gotten credit for both the discovery and the hypothesis, and for confirming her hypothesis. She might not have been given the “prize” individually, but she would have definitely gotten the credit and shared in the accolades. (I think a male in the same position would have shared the prize at a minimum, and had the department head claimed credit as they did here, would have publicly disgraced the department head by proving they not only had nothing to do with the discovery, they had dismissed it when shown and added nothing at all to the hypothesis or testing it, and they would have been drummed out of the scientific community for plagiarism and theft of intellectual property).

When he dismissed her findings completely, he removed himself from the discovery and she became group leader of her own separate project. She deserves both prizes, both monetary awards, a public apology from the man who stole her work without giving her credit, and a serious civil judgement against him for any bonus, advancement, raise, accolades, or paid engagements he received based on his lie that he discovered pulsars. That’s her money that he stole.

vil said:

OK I will take a risk on this one. Every scientific breakthrough is supported by scientific personnel who run experiments and collect data. The head of the laboratory or institution gets to interpret the data and get the Nobel Prize. That is how teams work in science.

Its even in the video, getting the discovery discovered is a lot of tedious work, someone has to find the anomalous signal, that is great, someone else then gets to state a hypothesis about what it means, which when it proves to be right gives them the prize. Seems fair. Even if its just one on one student and professor, unless the student comes up with a fundamental concept, just noticing an anomaly does not make a Nobel Prize laureate of the student. Even if his line of search is originally against the opinion of the professor.

Now arguably in this case Ms. Bell made a bigger contribution than just collecting data and if you juxtapose that with how women were treated back then, its a nice story. But if she were a man in the same position there would be no Nobel Prize either. And possibly no compensating prize years later.

And yes she deserves her prize, I believe.
