White People Have Contributed More to Civilization
Even if you were to extend the definition to "Eurasia", as he no doubt does, it ignores something critical. The aboriginal Americans were masters of biotechnology. We have found the antecedents of maize, tomatoes, and potatoes, and they vary from utterly inedible to kinda poisonous. Over time, they transformed these noxious weeds into the crops that today keep billions of people alive. Imagine Italian cuisine without tomatoes. I would argue that maize was the Mezoamerican cathedral, a visible sign of their supremacy over the natural world.
The Lone Man Building a Cathedral By Hand
Given that this guy is an amateur builder I assume this place will be torn down when he passes. What a weird desire to build a cathedral... I would be / am one of the people that would call this guy crazy.
The Lone Man Building a Cathedral By Hand
I hope the city finishes it and buries him in the cathedral as he requested. Whether or not you believe in a god, this is an example of dedication far beyond the norm.
Rocky Mountain High by John Denver in 1974
He was born in the summer of his 27th year
Coming home to a place he'd never been before
He left yesterday behind him, you might say he was born again
You might say he found a key for every door
When he first came to the mountains his life was far away
On the road and hanging by a song
But the string's already broken and he doesn't really care
It keeps changing fast and it don't last for long
But the Colorado rocky mountain high
I've seen it rainin' fire in the sky
The shadow from the starlight is softer than a lullabye
Rocky mountain high (Colorado)
He climbed cathedral mountains, he saw silver clouds below
He saw everything as far as you can see
And they say that he got crazy once and he tried to touch the sun
And he lost a friend but kept his memory
A Priest Goes To Burning Man
Oh wow, this sermon was so Church of England that I was trying to work out where in the UK the Trinity Cathedral was...
The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
of the big lake they called "Gitche Gumee."
The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead
when the skies of November turn gloomy.
With a load of iron ore twenty-six thousand tons more
than the Edmund Fitzgerald weighed empty,
that good ship and true was a bone to be chewed
when the "Gales of November" came early.
The ship was the pride of the American side
coming back from some mill in Wisconsin.
As the big freighters go, it was bigger than most
with a crew and good captain well seasoned,
concluding some terms with a couple of steel firms
when they left fully loaded for Cleveland.
And later that night when the ship's bell rang,
could it be the north wind they'd been feelin'?
The wind in the wires made a tattle-tale sound
and a wave broke over the railing.
And ev'ry man knew, as the captain did too
'twas the witch of November come stealin'.
The dawn came late and the breakfast had to wait
when the Gales of November came slashin'.
When afternoon came it was freezin' rain
in the face of a hurricane west wind.
When suppertime came the old cook came on deck sayin'.
"Fellas, it's too rough t'feed ya."
At seven P.M. a main hatchway caved in; he said,
"Fellas, it's bin good t'know ya!"
The captain wired in he had water comin' in
and the good ship and crew was in peril.
And later that night when 'is lights went outta sight
came the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
Does any one know where the love of God goes
when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
The searchers all say they'd have made Whitefish Bay
if they'd put fifteen more miles behind 'er.
They might have split up or they might have capsized;
they may have broke deep and took water.
And all that remains is the faces and the names
of the wives and the sons and the daughters.
Lake Huron rolls, Superior sings
in the rooms of her ice-water mansion.
Old Michigan steams like a young man's dreams;
the islands and bays are for sportsmen.
And farther below Lake Ontario
takes in what Lake Erie can send her,
And the iron boats go as the mariners all know
with the Gales of November remembered.
In a musty old hall in Detroit they prayed,
in the "Maritime Sailors' Cathedral."
The church bell chimed 'til it rang twenty-nine times
for each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald.
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
of the big lake they call "Gitche Gumee."
"Superior," they said, "never gives up her dead
when the gales of November come early!"

Plausible Deniablity Fail. The Silence is Deafening.
And for you sir indeed, a hearty-handclasp. I would not personally give a thought to not having the Vatican produce one shred of evidence to the contrary and simply begin the end of their empire by any means necessary. Start with the wealthiest countries where they have a foothold and work your way down to the poorest.
Line the fucking carcasses of the city's ordained up for all to see outside The Cathedral of St. Patrick in NYC (now reclaimed for public use) and announce a fire sale next week at the Invasion of Vatican City.
Well, the life of Christ was extensively documented. While documents pertaining to the activities of pedophile priests were shredded or burned the minute the Church learned said priests could still be prosecuted. They'll be stonewalling on this till all the perpetrators are dead or too senile to give any useful testimony, or till Jesus comes back, whichever comes first.

It's great Thanks for the link. The acoustics of the train station work really well for it too... it sounds like a big cathedral.
