Trump to be arrested

newtboy says...

You certainly repeat what’s made up and spouted on Fox verbatim, far more than once, and you’re always in lock step with them except the blue moon when they tell the truth about Trump. If you don’t watch Fox, how does that happen?
I never watched cable news…that’s your fantasy you made up so you can discard what I say without ever researching it. I sometimes post cable news YouTube videos because they make a certain point well, or have footage I’m looking to post, they aren’t my sources. I research, I read, I watch multiple respected news sources to decide what to look into…but never cable news like all “conservative news*” (*for entertainment purposes only).

Not wasting time or pimping for Democrats, I’m entertaining myself bashing on and triggering know nothing fascists. I would likely be a Republican if only THEY would, but the responsible, honest, honorable, non hypocritical, law respecting, ethical, fiscally sound, champion of clean air and water, worshiper of democracy, believer in and supporter of science “Republican” I was raised to believe in didn’t exist when I was old enough to vote, and they’ve gone down hill on roller skates since Reagan.

Not blinded at all, but I do hate liars, and those that excuse lies from their allies/prophet.

Wait, you WANT me WOKE!?! 🤦‍♂️

The economy is doing far better than expected after the apocalypse Trump left, negative GDP, 15% unemployment, skyrocketing inflation, massively increased debt and deficit….still not healthy but off the life support it needed after Republican rule. It would be much better today if Republicans hadn’t removed established common sense bank regulations in 2018 causing today’s bank failures.

I’m a newtboy, not a sheeple. Learn your animals. 🤨

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”

Newt You wast all you time pimping for the Democrats.

I feel for you since you are so blinded by hatred,

A useful idiot tool you are.

Someday you might wake up.

Guess you think the economy is doing well also. Sheeple.

Sadly, fools like @bobknight33 can't understand that good policing is supposed to be the norm, not a once in a blue moon occurrence to be celebrated and rewarded in stark contrast to the daily barrage of cops gone wild, boys in blue behaving badly videos that come without repercussions....nor does he grasp that one right doesn't erase one wrong, it takes a thousand good deeds to atone for one evil deed, some might say it's a debt you can never repay.

I started driving in Montreal for 12 years, and moved to Toronto for another 13 years. These 2 cities always had a bit of a rivalry. Montreal drivers calling Toronto drivers stupid idiots and Toronto's calling Montreal's crazy speed demons. These stereotypes are both accurate. Comparatively I'd feel safer with Montreal's crazy speed demons all around me any day -- they speed pass you of the left, they signal, they don't hog the left lane most of the time. Overall more skillful. Things like the above video happen in Montreal once in a blue moon. Toronto, way too often.

I often road tripped around the Buffalo, NY - Washington DC corridors and I'd say even they are better drivers (in terms of skillfulness & situational awareness) than Torontonians...

AHA! I can see clearly ... your viewpoint. I've only recently been watching her on a regular[ish] basis and was interested in this particular subject and its breakdown. Didn't really think about the FOX/school bully aspect [I get a mean streak every once in a blue moon which may explain why I dig her style] ... AND ... you are correct sir! Just for YOU, sift pal of mine, I will happily designate the video *terrible [which is one of my favorite channel designations bar none] Peace Out and thanks for the discourse

Sorry I'm just replying now. Just noticed your comment after checking my profile page, but that was only after I read this grim news. I lurk once in a blue moon, and unfortunately that's what I find out after being away for ages. Son of a bitch.

Well anyway I hope you're well. Thanks for thinking of me.

Well, honestly, I have yet to run out of toner, I was just being sarcastic.

I also 100% promote lasers over inkjets. When you run out of toner, the cartridge is pretty much empty. Also, if you're like me and print something once every 2 or 3 blue moons, toner is already dry, and stays completely useful 10x longer than ink.

Don't throw it away. That would be a wiener move. Give it to someone on craigslist for fifty bucks or something. Better than the trash, that is just stupid.

@chingalera, I must say I'm not surprised that you would be one of the few people that could only see a negative here and get outraged by it. You have this inane ability to not listen to what people actually say, instead only hearing what you want to hear and make up bat shit insane nonsense over it based on your own bias.
I'm not against debate (although I do not enjoy participating, usually), and I enjoy hearing multiple views and reasoning behind them, when they are well thought out and make me consider my own view. Your babbling has never done that. At first it was amusing, but it soon became tedious and annoying.

And I've had enough, which is unfortunate because once in a blue moon you are capable of friendly or considerate banter, but these are all too infrequent. I shall be adding you to my ignore list, and I hope that someday you'll begin to consider what you say and consider another's opinion before going off half cocked.

Good day, sir.

BULLSH!T!!! You engage anyone that will respond. You have never been choosy.
And in case you didn't understand...I'm saying YOU ARE A TROLL (and you appear to be racist judging by past posts, don't get it twisted though, so do I and many others).
In fact, you are the most sesquipedalian wannabe erudite troll I've ever had the misfortune to converse with (I have read worse, but not conversed). Once in a blue moon I actually agree with your point, but NEVER do I agree with your insulting, whining, angry, rambling, faux intellectual way of saying it.
PS ...and before you decide I'm the troll because that's been YOUR experience with me (I admit, I probably look trollish to you), I ask that you note that YOU are the only one I respond to in this manner, and I do it based on our past conversations and your past postings. On the other hand, you pick fights with nearly everyone on the sift, then lambast the sift for being homogeneous (which it's not) and insist that we NEED you here and actually want your ranting and anger. I agree we need dissenting ideas, but not that we need the trolling. I wish you could see that they are different things and separate the two. (To be honest, I don't mind the racism if it's in jest, but I do insist on calling it racism if it is.)

Crying troll sounds awfully similar the racist wail....check a mirror sometime, and maybe lance that eye mote? Actual racists and trolls are rather choosy about who and what they engage.

Just passing on a suggestion for the future.
I just redefined my comment from a recent post and though it might be worth mentioning here. From this conversation: http://terrible.videosift.com/talk/Videosift-5-0-Request-Allow-block-of-user-Avatars

My Comment:

I think it would be kind of neat to see not only member's avatars, but the avatars they've had in the past. While some people change their avatar every time the wind blows, other people only change it once in a blue moon.

In both examples, it would be interesting to have a way to see an archive of a member's past Avatars. Take mine for example, I use a Mandalorian (Boba Fett's) helmet. I have had three or four variations of the helmet since joining. It would be neat to see that progression, and possibly a chance to revert back to any of my vintage avatars.

That being said, sometimes conversations pop up over some people's avatars, then the person changes it for some reason or another, and poof the conversation left behind doesn't make sense. Imagine the comment "Wow, that's the best avatar ever!" And then imagine, they switch the avatar, a month down the road to a CareBear. You read the comment, and think, "Hey that avatar sucks, what are they talking about, you can click on their legacy avatars and see that they did, at some point have some really cool avatars.

Only foreseeable con: Size of growing image archive.
Cheers!

What I would like to see is the progression of avatars that people have had in the past.
It would be extremely helpful in discussions like these as well as being fun to see past avatars.

People without good critical thinking skills can be misled to do stupid and harmful things (like voting for prop . Faith is synonymous with lack of critical thinking. Faith is a problem no matter how benign some of its practitioners currently are because they can more easily be misled by clergy, politicians, and hucksters.

Stupid people do stupid things, whether they are theists or atheists. Faith has nothing to do with it, and your idea that believing in a higher power is a suspension of critical thinking shows that you are intellectually satisfied with a stereotypical and superficial analysis, which itself shows a lack of critical thinking.

With over 90 percent of the world having some kind of faith in a higher power, and 93 percent of this country, you must think you're pretty darn special, considering that you must believe that the vast majority of people on this planet, and those who came before them, are inferior to you. Yet, you have more faith than anyone else. Here is a smart person to tell you about it:

atheism requires the greatest faith, as it demands that ones limited store of human knowledge is sufficient to exclude the possibility of God.

Christian theology is bullshit because the problem of evil is insurmountable.

You apparently don't know the difference between the logical problem of evil and the evidential problem of evil. They are separate issues.

Malaria was not created by free will. If there were a benevolent all-powerful creator, he would not have allowed Malaria to exist.

What about poisonous mushrooms? Should He allow those? Someone might eat one. Should He have allowed us to invent electricity, since people have been electrocuted? How about hang nails? Long lines at the grocery store?

Sin fucked up the world? Well, the creator would have had to create the magic that would cause the world to become fucked up when sin occurred. Malaria is necessary for the greater good?

Man screwed up the world. Sickness, disease and death are the consequences of sin entering into the world through man. None of it was necessary, but God is still capable of using it to achieve a greater good.

You just have a very imbalanced view here. You blame God for the bad but fail to notice the good. If there is anyone to blame for scourge of Malaria today, it is the apathy of human beings:

http://health.howstuffworks.com/wellness/preventive-care/malaria-prevention.htm

That makes your supposed creator about as 'benevolent' as Hitler who thought gassing Jews was necessary for the greater good. The god of the old testament is a genocidal megalomaniac, exactly like Hitler.

Hitler didn't send his son to die on a cross for your sins. God has His hand extended to you to pull you out of the fire at any time, but it's on you to reach out for it.

It is pretty fucked up to believe in / worship this bloodthirsty megalomaniac without any evidence that he even exists.
Yes, church gives you a sense of community. That's fine. I still even go to a church event once in a blue moon to catch up with some old friends from 10 years of attending the same small Sunday school classes. But for fuck's sake, there are other ways to meet people and serve your community than through glorifying a fictional genocidal tyrant who wouldn't even deserve it if the bible were true.

Probably tagged as "asian" because of the origin of cosplay?

Wow. I'm not a cosplay fan, but that was amazing. Even going as far as to remake vehicles. I see an amazing costume or so once in every blue moon, thanks to the internet, but there must have been 100 of quality replicas alone in this vid.
