This is a rare "Like" coming from me for a Neil DeGrasse Tyson video. Granted, I only watched him on late night shows, but he's always so hyper and loud and sometimes bordering on arrogant to the hosts? Never ever liked any of him there.

Somehow all the hosts treat him like he's the only astrophysicists (and/or other qualifications) that can explains science to the layperson...

Totally got this vibe as soon as I was watching the video - can't articulate exactly why but he seemed way too calm after for what had just happened; he didn't even seem to send a distress while in the plane (though the choppy editing could account for that); he jumped out of the plane with a self-stick; he made sure to land near the plane so he could recover the footage before the FAA/authorities got it; and it didn't even seem like he had tried to find a safer place to ditch the plane (or land). If this was a YT stunt he should have his balls nailed to the wall and thrown in jail. While I'm sure the chances were slim, he still could have killed someone with this stunt.

Of all the things I don't agree with Maher (recently of the Mask Mandate, sooooooooo misinformed and/or self-centered, he's part of the prolonged problem), I must say, his fixation on not cancelling anyone and while urging people not being snowflakes are right stands for me. He explained right away what they already knew, they had no reasonable articulated suspicion of any specific crime required for detaining him, so no legal reason to hold him. They held him for over 1/2 hour after that, knowing they had no right to hold him at all.

The prosecutors have been a major let down. This was a mob attack, everyone there should be charged with murdering a police officer, they were all part of that murder and the other 50+ attempted murders of police. To be consistent, they only need to file charges against the 10000 that went along with the 40 (and in reality there is mountains of evidence that there are hundreds that planned the attack, including Trump and his minions in congress that actively helped the terrorists during the attempted coup.) On your second question, I was taking a pee when my kid was in and let me be brutally honest here. I thought she was still infantile enough to file things like this into 'I don't remember ' but she piped up very articulately "daddy, let me see your body" and I swear on my grandfather's grave it's the only time I've felt genuinely self conscious around my kid.
