Nah, I try to stay away from submitting stuff, I might get competitive and the last thing I need nowadays is more time spent on youtube. =)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMuZghd4HD0 You should submit it then : I've seen him live, he's definitely my favourite, he has this presence you just can't explain unless you're in the same room. He is just incredibly intelligent, you come away feeling like you've really learnt something.

Never even heard of this guy until someone posted a vid of him last week. He's funny.
An Alabama Negro in Queen Fry's Court
I don't know what you mean but he's from Georgia
He meant to say "Albany Negro".
Anyway, just watched that whole show, and by the time he got to the Sex and the City 2 stuff he was in my top 3 favorite stand ups. The final bit about his father though pushed him straight to number one.

Ron Paul Recites Revisionist History Before Confederate Flag
@quantumushroom, sounds to me like that's 5 different ways of saying slavery.
1. Economic and social differences between the North and the South
From the site you cited:
So, the Southern economy was based on slavery, the Northern economy wasn't.
2. States versus federal rights
As I said before, the origin of this concept was the schism over slavery. The South wanted to be able to hold slaves, and the North wanted them free. The compromise was the concept of "state's rights".
3. The fight between Slave and Non-Slave State Proponents
Hey, that one's obviously about slavery.
4. Growth of the Abolition Movement
Uhh, that one too.
5. The election of Abraham Lincoln
From the site you cited:
And yes, Lincoln said otherwise. Amazingly enough, the South projected all their worst fears and prejudices on a well educated, liberal, African-friendly President from Illinois back in 1860 too.

Alabama fan wanted in post-BCS sexual assault on LSU fan arrested in New Orleans
http://www.nola.com/crime/index.ssf/2012/01/alabama_fan_wanted_in_sexual_a_1.html
Brian xxxxxx, identified as the Alabama fan who pressed his testicles on the neck of an unconscious LSU fan in a Bourbon Street burger joint after the BCS Championship Game, was arrested by New Orleans police Thursday night after driving to meet police. xxxxxx, of Smiths Station, Ala., was taken into custody by New Orleans police about 10 p.m.
Detectives met xxxxxx, 32, at his attorney's office in Mid-City and then took him to Central Lock-Up, where he was booked with one count of sexual battery and one count of obscenity.
Earlier in the day, Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor, who said he is a second cousin to xxxxxxx, said he personally spoke with the NOPD sex crimes detective handling the case about whether to arrest the man or send him to New Orleans for questioning.
Although he'd heard about the video -- which has created a firestorm on the Internet -- for a couple days, Taylor said he watched it Thursday morning at the prompting of other people who suggested the University of Alabama fan was his relative. The man in the video indeed appeared to be Downing, he said.
"So then I went out there and looked at it and was, like, you have to be kidding me," Taylor said. At that point, he called Downing's father and told him to bring his son to the sheriff's office.

Aren't they speaking with US accents?
Let me see if I get the argument correct. "Candy or food, you choose. We're giving out candy and you know you like it. So screw real food and eat some candy with us."
Nope, those are Canadian accents. The normal crazy accent that people talk aboot is by and large from Canadians living in Quebec or on the east coast. Much the way not all Americans have an accent like those from in Virginia, Alabama or Texas.
TDS: Conservative Minorities vs. Liberal Minorities
@longde
Yeah, I'd bet money that non-partisan conservativism boosts life outcomes relative to liberal temperaments.
Isn't most of the nativism of conservatives actually about culture, rather than ethnicity? Conservatives don't care that Herman Cain, Michelle Malkin, Bobby Jindal, etc. etc. aren't white, but they do care when someone doesn't have proactive attitudes or views themselves as separate from the rest of society.
Also, isn't it in every American's best interest to limit mass immigration of unskilled workers while globalism and ever-increasing automation are decreasing the need for unskilled workers? Liberalism did turn California into officially the dumbest state in the country, with lower scores even than the states we make fun of, like Alabama, so this seems to be a priority issue.

FBI Investigates Scientology -- aw, too bad
>> ^ghark:
Why is the Church of Scientology being investigated for "abusive behaviour" when many individuals in the catholic church rape boys and the church gets little in the way of an investigation.
Because no one thinks Scientology is a real religion, except Scientologists of course. If these accusations were coming from some Baptist church somewhere in Alabama, believe me the authorities would be just as sleepy-eyed as they normally are.
