My question would be, do the prosecutors believe legalization contributed to their ability to prosecute this case, or is it the consensus that legalization has made it easier for the criminals to make slaves of women? Either could be the case based on this article.
If, indeed, the instances of slavery are on the rise in the Netherlands, I stand corrected. On the other hand, if they are becoming fewer and farther between, but easier to prosecute successfully, then my position is correct. Anyone have the stats? Before legalization arrest, prosecution and convictions for slavery VS after legalization arrests, prosecutions and convictions (I think you need to know arrest, prosecution and conviction numbers for it to mean anything).

A video doesn't hold much content, when you need to know about the subject to the extent that you could predict the outcome of the test without watching the video. Nothing was shown in this that wasn't obviously clear from knowing a bit about the subject.

This is not a reliable or practical solution, as it requires force for it to have a positive affect and not all things on the road considering a pothole a hazard move fast or have the weight to generate the downward force required. i.e bicycles, slow moving cars in traffic jams, drunk people. This would only work in a few specific situations like highways from my understanding.. to which as mxxcon hit the nail on the head, asphalt is clearly more effective in a wider range of situations.

I'd assume the hat restriction is to prevent sleeping and cheating....since you could write the stuff inside the hat.

And most of that stuff sounds like "Duh!" kind of solution to the needs, like it's so obvious that no one thinks it'd work.

In the US a "common" job like janitorial/cleaning often requires certifications or proof of previous work....so a 100-200 dollar training course isn't so bad considering how asinine we are with job requirements here. What's so deficient about our job situation in the states is that a lot of jobs (like wasterwater treatment, or IT certifications) require you to work in the job before you can get the certifications to do the job, but they have requirements of you needing certifications to get the job in the first place. It's like a circle that you need to know someone on the inside of it to have them reach out and pull you in so you can get a small job in the field to get allowance/permission to get the certs. We like to have things arranged this way, so we can keep people out.....without "discriminating".

People don't choose between having sex outside or inside a marriage on a given day. They only have the choice to have sex or not have sex, period. And to that point, not having sex, outside of marriage or in, causes more problems than having sex because sex is awesome for relationships.

Also, I did not say sex outside marriage was wrong or evil, did I? You made that assumption.
My point was that sex outside of marriage causes a lot of problems, more than sex within marriage.
You can go on believing whatever you want (see, I'm not forcing my beliefs on you, am I?) but the end result will teach you what you need to know.
