Wrong woman to rob--Undercover cop!

But in all seriousness, this warondrugs set up BS probably cost some astronomical sum to nab a guy who might have just become desperate trying to keep Citibank from foreclosing on him.

and have little to no real impact on the amount of drugs in the street, now the amount of people in prison is another story

I have heard that various "entrapment" laws say that an officer cannot lie to a suspect (?), so for drug deals and prostitution stings (I think), if they say "no I'm not a cop", whatever illegal action they arrest a person for is not up-holdable in court. Someone know more about this? I could see her just being a civilian that's under the employ of the police department for that reason, but that would mean the titles off. Meh!

No. They cannot coerce you to do something that you probably wouldn't do. In fact, ex., a Latin King bust down here was completely thrown out because an informant threatened his ex-members, and they knew the guy was crazy so they feared for their lives...

As far as lying goes--fair game. Otherwise there would be no need for undercover-anythings....

Look at the fucking state of the police wherever this is. Forearm tattoos, a "whatever" attitude to screwups ("it doesn't matter, it's on video"), and every single one of them with a nice beer gut.

Urm, the one with the tat, yeah, and the other. But not all of them had beer gut. As far as the tats, in uniform they wear longsleeve which makes your point more than moot (At least that's a common policy. Look at the other cops on duty in black uniforms, i.e., not plain clothes...as far as on duty as detectives, yeah, kind of need those tats.)

But I get your overall point. Only those in black uniforms should have tats, and only the undercovers should be allowed to have beards and/or beer guts.

Armed Raid on Raw Foods Co-Op in CA Leads to Owners' Arrest

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)

Fair enough - those are all good points - unless it's particularly onerous to get a license for this. Are they a business? They describe it as a club, but the selling to the undercover officer definitely undermines that claim.>> ^blackoreb:

Just to add a few points to the discussion.
1. The "guns-drawn" video was from the first raid - the one that didn't result in any arrests.
2. This group could have obtained licenses/permits to legally sell raw milk, but they chose not to. They also chose not to obtain a business license.
3. They are being charged with selling raw milk to undercover agents, who were not members per se, but who had purchased one-time day passes.

Store manager uses racial profiling!

eric3579 says...

Long ago I worked as undercover security busting people for shoplifting. The fact is if you always are watching blacks or teens or men or whatever(due to the idea that racial profiling works), you will ONLY catch those people. If i only watch teens, I will only bust teens for shoplifting.

god i hate political correct people
there is nothing wrong with profiling
profiling is the outcome of proven statistics. Course the p.c. crowd will claim the statistics are wrong that certain types do certain crimes, but it's been proven time and time again. mostly lower income.
I've done my share of profiling when I was a manager at a truck stop, some trashy teens came in we put alert to keep eyes open and more than half the time we'd bust one for slipping candy or goods in their pockets.

Now, I need to know what this movie is. I tried to sift some Undercover Brother clips a while back, and no one voted for them. Eddie Griffin is awesome.

Mal and Zoe undercover as newlyweds loking for work - saying they were referred by a man named Joey Bloggs.

Sheriff: Joey bloggs ate his own gun about a month back

Mal: did he?

Sheriff: Yep. blew the back of his head right off.

Mal, (without a hint of concern): So.. would his job be open?
