no one really knows the why, what, or wtf-fors.
like the guy being asked, "there's a GOD isn't there?"
to which he responds, "how should i know? i don't know how the toaster works!"
somethings are and ours to question why.

Real Science: Do Numbers On Toaster Dials Mean Minutes?
My cheap toaster has a removable crumb tray, which is a great feature. It also doe NOT have numbers, but rather it has a light/dark scale, but even when they have numbers, I've always known they had nothing to do with time. Why would anyone think that it does? It's sad that someone had to make a video to debunk something that should already be so painfully obvious.

Car misses exit and causes two semi trucks to crash
This person is not actively an asshole, they are simply just unaware. They think when they get in their 3K lbs killing machine they are driving an appliance, a toaster. They are comfortably unaware of their surroundings and secure in the fact that they are the only people on the road that matters. They are idiots. Idiots that don't understand that their actions can end lives. To be an asshole, you need to be aware of such facts and drive like that anyways. I posit that they are just to oblivious to be aware. IMHO, that is worse.
Typical asshole driver behavior: always driving on the passing (left) lane for no good reason (not turning left, not passing slower vehicles) and not paying any attention with situational awareness. These drivers suck and causes road rage.

I think the toaster changed the one I tried... will try again.
What do you mean by blocked by default?
I just went back and changed the embeds for my last 5 videos and it fixed all of them.
Choice is a Bad Idea | David Mitchell's Soapbox
Years ago when I worked in Retail, we had one of the best kitchen centers around - with huge selection.
BUT
When people realized they were faced with so much choice (30 blenders to choose from , 20 toasters etc) the sales plummeted - we decided that selection was a poor marketing strategy. Most people went away more confused than when they got there.
What we did was provide two alternatives at specific price points. So for example if buying a toaster...
2 at $10, 2 at $50 and 2 at $120.
People will pre-select what they feel is a fair price for a toaster and then we provide them a simple one over the other choice.
Of course I'm simplifying it here. But you can't give people too much choice.
Another case in point!
When I go to Subway - I want a bun with my stuff on it - I absolutely HATE when they ask what king of bread - it's practically all the same - then the cheese - it's all the same stuff in a different colour lol
Sure - I want to choose what is on my sub, but the bread? What's the taste difference between them? None! When they ask me what type of bread, I always answer "I don't care"
Tears In The Rain - Blade Runner fan film shot for $1500
Definitely impressive work for the budget.
While watching it, I couldn't shake my discomfort over the fact that this Blade Runner is rather cruel in his approach to his job. He's part of decommissioning an entire series of replicants. Does he go to every single one and destroy their universe as they die? What kind of sadistic person does that?
And couldn't the manufacturer think of a better way to shut down old units? It seems like using emergency services personnel to individually locate and turn off toasters that are past their warranty date is a waste of public funds. How about just giving the replicants a subconscious urge to migrate to a corporate facility at the appropriate time?
"I don't know why I came here today."
"Don't worry about it, just let me take a look at this expiration date next to the power switch on your neck."
"Wait! I remember things I wasn't programmed foooorrrrrrrr...."
"Did he say something?"
"Dunno. He's powered off now."
I could make that film for $500."

The way siftbot generated the related videos list prior to this invocation was exactly that: similar tags or keywords.
The invocation was added, as I understand it, so that you could give the toaster some assistance in the frequent occurrence that the process either went hilariously wrong (as the youtube one often does) or if it just missed some that should have been included.
I see where you're coming from, but that's not how I understand it.
I think we might just have to agree to disagree.
Videos of the same event taken by from various angles would be tagged as "related".
These videos simply have similar tags and channels.
