I can't believe this is real. It looks like a parody. In the same way Rebecca Black's "Friday" was an expensive wannabe music video.

I think both advices are terrible simply because they are very generalized and too unspecific. Sure, they're simple messages that sound uplifting and make sense at first glance but the same could be said about my horoscope in the daily newspaper.
Somebody surely told Rebecca Black to follow her dreams and the same must been told to all the casting show rejects that sucked hard enough to be put on the gag reel that makes up most of the ridiculing-others-part at the beginning of each season.
On the other hand I'm sure Bill Gates could've been a wonderful elderly care nurse but I prefer him super rich and very charitable. The same goes for topathletes and moviestars that spend bazillion dollars and their PR forces on charity.

Without sufficient data any advice except the really obvious ones (Don't eat spoiled food!) are nothing but a coin toss. You don't know if you need heads or tails until that coin has landed for good.

And it sounds like he's bitching about what YouTube was already trying to do, but they finally made it work.

The Real Name deal, yeah, I like that. I'd rather people do that. Why? Because as it stands, who cares about YouTube comments anyway? It's the cesspool of the internet. So if less people comment, it might not be bad thing.

Lastly, his comments about Google+ and YouTube . . . well, guess what dumbass, Google bought YouTube to make money. Not to keep your fantasies of internet anonymity alive. The people bringing YouTube down are those who feel they can never receive backlash, such as the bullies who follow their classmates and harass them, or just simply the HNG's who comment on 15 year old girls videos about what sexual act they'd love to perform on them, or the more mundane "you suck and you should die" comments. Hell, does no one remember that being the reason Rebecca Black skyrocketed to a household name? It wasn't because her song was good, or that bad really, it was because the YouTube comments became the base bottom of humanity . . . and the irony being those who hated her and told her to die, made her big money (which, I believe, she gave away).

So yeah, this guy can go whine in another YouTube video about YouTube and when they change something again, I'm sure he'll be there as well.
