Leftist gender bending bullshit books like The Diary of Anne Frank and the Bible?!? 😂

I’m surprised…I didn’t know the right had decided Christianity was just for leftists and abandoned it, like they did facts, reason, honesty, sanity, etc…although it’s outrageously idiotic to think Jesus wasn’t a supreme leftist, so in a way I’m shocked it took this long. Also, Christianity talks mad shit about the ochre hoaxer, your messiah, calling near 100% of his behavior “evil”, like adultery, bearing false witness, coveting, stealing, putting money ahead of god..pretty much every deadly sin and commandment if you believe he murdered Epstein to silence him (oh the stories he could have told about tangerine Palpatine).

You’re going to be left with nothing but Pepe the frog fairy tales about alpha male white men you wish you could be, no math, no English, no history, definitely no art, civics, science, philosophy…... 🤦‍♂️

Fox Is Right?!?

luxintenebris says...

yeah. fake.

fake like a 10-year-old rape victim.

must be exhausting. trying to shepherd one's own sheep of thoughts from straying into fields of lush reality. like the examples in this video, all those finely financed fabulists frantically deny the undeniable thus cringing from the credible. they hide from honesty like vampires from sunlight. vain vapid vampires.

'fake news' is Scientology's 'S.P.'; Amish's 'English'; JW's 'worldy'...it's an ever closing circle. like a garoutte.

99% of Humans Simultaneously in Sunlight

newtboy says...

There’s not a strict definition I’m aware of in common English…but “in sunlight”, in my mind, implies DIRECT sunlight….since that’s not what they mean I find it easily confusing if not deceptive.
“In visible sunlight” is more aptly descriptive, but granted, loses some of the punch.

Also…I see the moon in full daylight, sometimes at noon on sunny days (then I might see an eclipse), and sometimes planets rise just after sunrise or just before sunset…in full sunlight. Come again?

noims said:

If I can see the moon or any of the planets I'm as much in visible sunlight as if I'm indoors. I don't think there's a good strict definition.

The origins of oil falsely defined in 1892

newtboy says...

Absolutely and exactly right.
@bobknight33 would do well to pay attention and notice how often his sources use this methodology.

Unfortunately for him, the grammar and spelling mistakes go completely unnoticed because he can’t spell or even recognize proper English. He knows no science (despite claiming to have an engineering degree), and is willing to jump to the conclusion that everything he doesn’t understand must be some insane reality breaking conspiracy theory perpetrated by his enemies.
It’s unfortunate for the rest of us too.

bcglorf said:

This is one of those cons that's so bad it actually helps it's own spread.

His entire premise depends on folks buying in that 'Science" was duped into a bad 'definition' for the origins of oil at some committee meeting. You have to accept that for the next 100 years, the entire scientific community was powerlessly bound by this committee decision.

The reason that's so effective is the same as the scam emails rife with typos and bad grammar. He immediately is limiting his audience after that point to folks who didn't nope out already at that point. Targeted marketing at any audience vulnerable to whatever snake oil pitch he's ultimately selling.

12 yr. old Palestinian MC Abdul "Shouting At The Wall"

bcglorf says...

@newtboy,

There's a danger here of having an actual nuanced discussion on Israel/Palestine happening here if we aren't careful...

I agree with your point of difference on illegal immigrants in the US largely not having a plan for 'independence' in their back pocket. The soft equivalence that the right wingers would point to though would be immigrant settling into small area such that they can setup a virtual community without ever needing to learn local languages and pushing hard to keep their 'own' values and way of life. I don't agree with the "Learn English" rednecks or the ones shouting how folks need to act American, but there is at least a soft parallel. virtually the only thing South Park has ever been censored on was depicting the prophet, and that 100% read as fear of violent retaliation, which isn't nothing.

I also think you hit the bigger point on how broken systems of immigration are. Particularly when domestic politics and the situation for legal immigration to refugees is grossly inadequate. I think America today though is just a much more mild example of it than the 30/40s in Palestine. For all the complaints one can level at Zionism, it's very hard to condemn them for encouraging mass emigration out of Europe. It's also clear that waiting on legal immigration routes out wasn't going to get people out fast enough. Thus I really look carefully at any anti-zionist position that includes condemning jewish 'illegal' immigration at the time. It treads dangerously close to saying they should have accepted the alternative, which was by and large remaining in Europe...

CGI = Computer Generated Image….this includes computer altered and purely computer generated images, and includes still and moving images. Perhaps it’s not an industry term anymore, it’s still an English term/phrase I used properly according to every reference I can find.

I’ve offered multiple citations backing that up.

Can you offer any backing up your contention that there’s really no such thing as cgi? Since CG only counts for 3d computer generated objects, what do YOU call computer altered images like aged actors and lighting effects (Blade Runner) on photos/film etc? Can you offer a citation to back you up? The dictionary calls that CGI.

It may be silly to call it that, but not as silly as this argument.
Remember, the CGI tag was there to indicate this was not some attempt to fool people into believing it was real, as you originally accused. So was FX. They both served their purpose, although they had to be pointed out.
Remember, you also wanted to quibble over whether this was “art” as if your liking it or it taking a substantial amount of work to create was the measure.
Now you want to quibble over a lay term that was ONLY intended as an obvious clue that this was altered.

Why?

I’ve explained multiple times why I posted it. If you still don’t know why, you have a comprehension problem, because I was quite clear. I thought it was pretty.

I think you just wanted to gripe.

BTW, bro didn’t take the job at Lucas, and regretted it immediately. He was running a few egghead stores at the time and thought his future was in computer sales. He still works with computers, has been building them since the 70’s (Apple 2) and runs his own server farm and is his own ISP. He stopped making computer art a while ago.

Amish response to covid

spawnflagger jokingly says...

The Amish must have better immunity because they walk barefoot in cow feces all the time. (speaking for those in northeastern Ohio - maybe Lancaster is different).

And they've been practicing social-distancing from outsiders for decades (hence inbreeding being a real problem).

Excellent work-ethic though. maybe it's "idle hands are the devil's playground" mentality, but I could definitely see why they wouldn't want to shut down during covid.

When massive solar flares kill the grid and fry most computers on Earth, the Amish will be just fine. The rest of us "English" will be in chaos.

Amish response to covid

Buttle says...

Nobody in this video says anything remotely like that. The Amish guy says "we all got covid". Nor does he say that fewer Amish died than English, or that they didn't get as sick. What he does say is that some things are more important to them than trying to never get sick, or to live as long as humanly possible.

robdot said:

This is a very common right wing taking point. Amish and homeless people don’t get covid, because it’s all a lie.

Please rewrite this first paragraph before I’m forced to publicly lambast your total lack of language skills again as sub par for grade school.

I’ll ignore the bat shit crazy stupidity of what you tried to write for now, just get it in fucking English.

If CRT is….
…then you have nothing….
….,and in YOUR mind nothing would be banned. (Had to read that 6 times to decipher what you were trying to say).

It’s impossible to take you seriously when you write with the skill of a third grader who is failing English….or a Russian troll who also failed English.

bobknight33 said:

If it is a CRT is another red herring than you have nothing to worry about. Let it be banned in schools and in you mind then nothing would be banned.

No one wants to ban the teaching of slavery or Jim Crow.

Why would any Republican want to ban the teaching this side of the Democrat party?

Quit bringing false arguments to the table.

This man is POTUS

newtboy says...

Yes. 100% compared to the only alternative we were presented with. Things would be far worse, Covid still out of control, Russia owning Ukraine and threatening its neighbors, Ukraine getting zero assistance because they wouldn’t fake an investigation into Biden’s family, debt doubled again, unemployment in the toilet, gdp negative, inflation worse, supply chains gone, criminals overrunning the White House, fascism running rampant, no police reform….how many ways do I need to say he’s a winner simply because he replaced the world’s biggest loser?

Stop the sniveling, bob. You’re still crying, still have sour grapes over a massive, historic loss at the polls. Grow up buddy.

This is want I want. This is me guy, @bobknight33, to say it in a way you’ll understand. (You were so close to proper English)

You don't know 'You'

newtboy says...

There’s also that bit where “it’s on you” in no way means “it’s on YOUR show”. Should have been a hint to anyone who speaks non-pigeon-English. I thought he thought she just misheard, so he repeated.

But expecting Fox talking heads to understand plain English gives them too much credit. Edit: actually, expecting them to stop talking long enough to hear the answers to their questions is expecting too much. I think if she had listened, she would have understood.

I wish I could convince myself it was a bit, but I feel Laura isn’t that good of an actor, and her demeanor indicates she was being serious. I don’t want to think professional people are that clueless, but experience has made me believe they really are….but I freely admit it’s just my biased opinion…you of course are welcome to your own less jaded opinion, and I’ll just hope I’m wrong.

eric3579 said:

After he said the show was on "you" three or four separate times, which makes all the difference. I'd buy it if he would have led with that, and why wouldn't you if you can see the confusion? I'm sticking with it being a bit.

If that were true, why did you make up the sexist, disrespectful lie that she slept her way into office….repeatedly? You clearly cared that she is a woman despite your denial, and obviously care that she’s black even though you know better than to admit it.

I don’t expect an answer….I would say you should go pander your idiotic propaganda elsewhere, but it seems that since the day Putin’s troll farm was shut down you’re gone, and it’s going to be a while before they get back online, so I’ll instead say enjoy your time out, and enjoy real inflation of your rubles and true leadership failure that Trump praises.

Lol…Manafort caught trying to flee to Dubai yesterday, pulled off the plane with his invalid passport trying to escape to a country with no extradition….a trial run for Trump fleeing to mother Russia or Belarus?

Remember, Trump said Russia’s invasion was genius, near perfection, and indicated it’s what he would have done….with the same disastrous results.

This is you guy. This is you pick? (You’ll never live down your pigeon Russian/English, comrade).

Vote While It Counts

newtboy says...

Debunked above…..
You know what it does have? Prison time for Republicans who go to senior assisted public housing posing as election workers helping seniors (many non English speaking) update their voting registration (not something needed in Florida), sometimes telling them they need a NEW voting card, but in reality they were secretly changing their party affiliation to Republican and were Republican campaign staffers, this just happened in Miami. Only being changed Democrat to Republican, not being changed Republican to Democrat.

That’s why the right hates this bill. It criminalizes election fraud, and would put thousands (or more) of you in prison and end so many Republican campaigns for fraud that the party would disappear. ALL that fraud you moan and cry about was Republicans defrauding the election, subverting democracy, and pissing on the constitution they wrap themselves in and pretend to love.

Imagine your outrage if Democrats went to your 7th grade graduate father and tricked him into registering Democrat….then came back on Election Day to help with his ballot. Apparently you’re fine with that, or you would support election reform. It’s telling that Republicans are against criminalizing election fraud, isn’t it?

BSR says...

I don't know for a fact but I suspect that you may have to show proof that you are legally allowed to purchase such items. After all "lawyer" is in his title.

My dad showed me how to pick locks when I was 10.

In my 3rd year in high school I got an "A" in English class because the teacher needed to get into a filing cabinet and didn't have the key with her. I told her I could open it but she didn't believe me so I made an deal with her. An "A" in English to pop the lock.

That "A" sure did stand out next to all those "B's" on my report card.
