>> You sound like you are trying to prove your own point on people not knowing what they are talking about. Good job.
I've probably have a better idea of how the legal system works in the US and Canada than you do. AP, SN, APDN, JDR, RECG, PTAP all work at the will of the officer. Whether that be at the street level or at the station. Thanks for proving you just don't have a clue on what you're talking about.
You win! you had me with the BFD, OMG ,STFU, WTF,arguments.Everything these cops did is 100% kosher, And you, sir, are a valued member of F.A.G.

lol.. cops can arrest you and release you with a summons. wait to internet lawyer. Also, he can place person under arrest and let them complete their emergency life saving.
The comments released by the police investigation so far clearly state the ambulance DID NOT HAVE SIRENS OR LIGHTS ON. Period.
Also, it is a felony to assault EMT while on duty. I'm sure the cops won't get charged however...

You really know how to verb a noun, Rottenseed. I think I'm in verb.
In reply to this comment by rottenseed:
ooooh...I'm going to take that noun that you verbed all over my noun and verb it all over my noun while I verb the noun out of it.
In reply to this comment by poolcleaner:
After I take my noun off I'm gonna verb all over your noun.

Whats the difference between a dead cop and a trampoline?
You take off your boots before jumping on a trampoline.
Somebody been playing madlibs?
What's the difference between a dead profession and a noun?
You take your noun off before verbing on a noun

If your under arrest, then thats it, theres no unarresting.
"By the power vested in me by --insert government body-- you're arrested."
"By the power vested in me by --insert government body-- you're unarrested."
See how that works? Yes it really is that simple. I really enjoy threads like this, it points out how many people really don't have a freaking clue how laws, and policing work.
You didn't quote my whole statement, I said " And the cop says "your under arrest", then he lets the EMT go, thats not how its supposed to work. If your under arrest, then thats it, theres no unarresting"
I realize that cops will do anything they want regardless of the law, and then let the lawyers work it out later. But when he unnarested him , He is admitting it was a bad arrest and/or he learned new facts and decided he had made a bad arrest. Watching the video , I don't see the officer learning any new facts, He is just backing down from a bad rage induced arrest.Police shouldnt arrest someone and grab them by the throat in an illegal choke hold and then pretend it did't happen.
Thats not the way its supposed to work!!

Maskiki, Thats complete bullshit! In some states the arresting officers supervisor would be needed to "unarrest" somebody.
Laws vary from state to state.

Your mockery fails
I think it was brilliant, poetic, and probably pretty fun, no?
I've got another one:
Why don't you go fthe letter uck yourself
Those who call themselves brilliant are typically perceived as the opposite by everyone else. The fact that you got all butt-hurt over my comment shows just how pretentious you really are. Oh, and no, it was not funny, nor poetic, and certainly not brilliant. Go die in a fire.

I love the internet, how everyone knows everything about a situation and knows everything about the video.
Especially when you get the "facts" from the victim.
And the video.
And the accounts of the woman being transported to the hospital.
And the accounts of her family members.
And the uninvolved witness accounts (nearby pedestrians).
1. The video is shot by the victim(s).
2. The woman was in the ambulance, hence victim.
3 The family that was not at the scene, so unreliable.
4. witnesses that don't know the situation as to why they got pulled over to begin with, also known as unreliable witnesses.
It obviously is being played out more than it is, because if it was a real emergency the EMT would of not even stopped and continued to the hospital like they normally do. For the guy to say "I thought he had someone that needed medical attention" in the police car shows it was not as bad as the EMT says the person it the ambulance was.
