Says the guy who STILL believes the NEXT (fake) whistleblower will have undeniable proof of Dark Brandon selling policy for cash despite the last 20+ completely disintegrating under examination.

The latest disaster being Devon Archer who was going to verify the Hunter Biden laptop and it’s contents, he didn’t, would testify to being present when Joe got on the phone to sell influence to Hunter’s business partners, he said it never once happened, and would bring audio recordings of Joe taking bribes, he didn’t know what they’re talking about.
Then they claimed the DOJ tried to hide him, tried to put him in prison before he could testify before congress, but every single court document proves they not only didn’t try that, they specifically noted his appointment to testify when they filed with the judge and insisted under no circumstances should he be incarcerated before he was finished, despite knowing he was not scheduled for incarceration yet, a process that takes months, so there was always absolutely no danger he might be unavailable anyway. Those documents are public.

You buy the dumbest, easily disproven nonsense. Such stupidity it usually looks like you’re playing the character of a brainless MAGA moron, like Colbert used to, because it’s just too stupid too consistently to be believed by even the most gullible person alive.

When is Hillary being arrested again? I forget. Wasn’t it coming for certain in 2017?

You are really entertaining Bob…along the lines of Archie Bunker…the worst of humanity, but entertaining to watch flounder.

Uh-oh. Case closed when your lawyer admits you did the crime on tv.

More MAGA child abuse insanity, Republican Congressman Derrick Van Orden from Wisconsin is in hot water after he screamed profanities at a group of young exhausted senate pages that were resting in the Capitol Rotunda after working all night serving the senate for free, like they’ve done for decades.
Not the first time, he also threatened a young underage female library page/volunteer in Wisconsin for setting up the library’s gay pride month display and verbally abused her so badly she never returned to her job.

Screaming obscenities at young children for doing their job (when they aren’t having sex with them)…THAT’S today’s MAGA.

D’oh! Tried to erase the server AFTER getting the subpoena! Pretty sure his obstruction and destruction of evidence attempt was also recorded…recorded on the server that was recovered. Also recovered, the war plans for attacking Iran that Trump showed known Chinese agents, also recorded, that Trump now claims didn’t happen. 😂
And Georgia is ready to indict, get ready.
Then likely Jan 6 charges.
Than possibly AZ charges.
Give it time. 😂

Bonus- Another “smoking gun” fails today with Devon Archer, Hunter Biden’s business partner who testified that on some occasions during dinner, even some business dinners, Hunter would put Joe on speaker phone to say hello, but never, not one time in 10 years did he ever discuss any business when his father was on the line. They talked about Bo, who had cancer, and the family, and some pleasantries. He also testified to having no knowledge whatsoever about any bribes to Hunter or Joe. Republicans had hyped this witness as the smoking gun connecting Hunter’s business dealings with Joe, and said he had personal knowledge of bribes…turned out to be the exact opposite of what Republicans claimed, as usual.
(Edit) Er mer gerd…just heard the insanity they’ve been feeding you all weekend about him…claiming the DOJ was trying to put Archer in prison Sunday night to stop him from testifying because he recently lost his appeal on fraud charges (completely unrelated to Hunter) and as is the normal process the DOJ sent the letter to the judge that starts the incarceration process that weeks or months later ends with him actually in prison serving the sentence he’s already received….and when no such obstruction or imprisonment happened they declared victory against the weaponized DOJ that they say caved to their strength and now allowed him to testify….to and about absolutely nothing criminal! You fools! This is the important work your reps are doing on your behalf….idiotic nonsense hearings with no purpose no evidence and no power to do anything about anything. I bet you’re lapping it up. 😂

The Mountain learns true power from champion armwrestler

Devon's well known in the community for having ridiculous endurance - he could happily sit there all day soaking up all of the Mountains attempts to pin him. He was also the guy that pretty much ended John Brzenk's undisputed reign at the top of the sport - and John was THE man for decades.

The other thing that's great about Devon is he's a pretty funny guy - google some of the Ottowa High Hooker's vid's, they're good for a laugh

Why do competitors open their stores next to one another?

kevingrr says...

@GaussZ

I've not been to Brick Lane but there are similar areas in Chicago. Chinatown has endless Chinese restaurants on the south side. Devon Avenue on the north has curry place after curry place.

These exist for a few reasons.

First, immigrants often naturally group together in certain areas of a city. This is very true of Chicago if you study the demographic profiles. It is not surprising that people want to open a business in the community they live in and eat food they are familiar with.

Second, these streets become destinations in and of themselves. "Let's go get some curry up on Devon Ave (Chicago) or Brick Lane (London)." You may not even have a particular restaurant in mind - you just go there and see what you find.

I would guess that those restaurants are able to survive because they exist in a community where there is high demand for their goods.

Those businesses are competing with each other but there is enough demand for their product in one area that they can all stay open.

Going back to the beach analogy it is like everyone on the beach wanting a LOT of ice cream AND people travelling to the beach because it is known for its great ice cream (presumably they know how to make the best ice cream, curry etc).

Back to my earlier comment, restaurants do like being next to one another and they would prefer if the product is different. Why?

Imagine there are two retail spaces available in a town that has no restaurants. You want to open a curry restaurant in one of the spaces and sign a lease with the landlord to do so. Ideally you are the ONLY restaurant in town. If people want to eat out they have to come to you. Now the landlord wants to lease out the other space - what would you like to see there most? Another Curry Restaurant, a pizza place, or an ice cream shop?

I can tell you for a fact that fast casual restaurants in the USA love being next to a Starbucks because people got to Starbucks everyday. That means if you sell sandwiches people know exactly where you are. They see you everyday and you are right next door to one of their favorite establishments etc.

"The letter to the Environmental Protection Agency from Attorney General Scott Pruitt of Oklahoma carried a blunt accusation: Federal regulators were grossly overestimating the amount of air pollution caused by energy companies drilling new natural gas wells in his state.

But Mr. Pruitt left out one critical point. The three-page letter was written by lawyers for Devon Energy, one of Oklahoma’s biggest oil and gas companies, and was delivered to him by Devon’s chief of lobbying."

Virgin and SERCO Put In Bids For NHS Children's Services

Sagemind says...

Devon NHS children's services set for privatisation

Outcome of tendering process for core services for vulnerable families could provide foretaste of NHS break-up, critics fear Core children's health services in Devon may be about to be privatised in a move that critics have warned is a foretaste of the breaking up of the NHS that will take place when the government's health and social care bill becomes law.

The Guardian has learned that NHS Devon and Devon county council have shortlisted bids led by two private, profit-making companies – Serco and Virgin Care – to provide frontline services for children across the county, including some of the most sensitive care for highly vulnerable children and families, such as some child protection services, treatment for mentally ill children and adolescents, therapy and respite care for those with disabilities, health visiting, and palliative nursing for dying children.

Also on the shortlist for the £130m three-year NHS contract is Devon Partnership NHS trust, bidding along with Barnardo's and other local charities. But a source close to the process, which is now in its fourth and final stage, has told the Guardian that one of the two commercial companies' bids looks likely to win the tender.

Best known for "and then she goes, she goes, she goes, she just goes".

The people I've heard with a west country accent didn't exactly sound like that, they were older and a bit calmer.

Yes I have, I live very close to Devon, the county I'm in (Dorset) has what's known as a west country accent, along with Devon, Somerset and Cornwall.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdfJySxOb6U&feature=related This is somewhat a Devonshire accent, I dunno if I can really hear the aussie in it, but you are clearly more qualified than me to deduce that :

Have you heard a Devon accent? To my ears that sounds as close to an Australian accent as the U.K. gets.

Not really on topic for the vid though, hence moving it here :

Welsh accent doesn't sound American or even close. Pretty sure any British accent does not sound American or come close. Australian and English, perhaps, although i can't hear it, I accept a lot of people get that mixed up. Never ever heard of anyone mistaking any British accent for an American one, regardless of your immigration point.

"Even you" hehe ;
