FBI director gets schooled on marijuana legalization

EDD says...

>> ^jmd:
There is only ONE PERSON to blame for you getting caught with weed and having your life destroyed because of it... and that is YOU. We live in a country that has deemed it illegal. You have NO RIGHT to set your self apart from our legal system and break our laws...that is why they are laws. There are plenty of countries that legalize marijuana, move to one of them.

I completely agree with you 100%. A citizen's responsibility is to unquestioningly abide by all laws, state or federal.

Me, I was taught my lesson the hard way: during a 2 week stint in a state penitentiary in Devon, Connecticut, where, as I learned, it is unlawful to walk backwards after sunset. Since then I've been telling everyone "You have NO RIGHT to set your self apart from our legal system and break our laws".

Evgeni Nabokov with the Save of the Year

kagenin says...

That's Nabby, alright. There's a good reason why the Sharks currently have the best record in the league, the best home record in the league (most home wins, fewest losses in regulation, an astounding 31-3-4), are currently 2rd in Goals Allowed all season(188, Boston leads that stat with 180), and were the first team to clinch their division this season. They've set a team record for playoff points accumulated(111), and there's still 6 more games left to play. No other team has 50 wins, and only 4 other teams are capable of hitting that this late in the season. And on special teams, they've been juggernauts - ranked third in both Power Play goals, and Penalty Killing. They're also ranked 6th when it comes to Even Strength goals.

With arguably the most dominant line in Hockey today (Joe Thornton, Devon Setoguchi, and Captain Patty Marleau, 91 goals among them), the Sharks are going to be the team to beat come post-season. Nabby has 39 wins under his belt, and his backup, Brian Boucher, has put up some pretty great numbers in his 11 wins. Sharks have been making great moves all season - acquiring Rob Blake and Dan Boyle added Stanley Cup-experienced veterans on the Blue Line, and they've been solid.

This has been a storybook season for the Sharks. I'm hoping the story doesn't end before the Stanley Cup makes its way to San Jose for the very first time.

That's because I was bad and misspelled his name!

It's Devin. http://www.podsafeaudio.com/jamroom/bands/3/somnolent_electronic_neo-existentialism.php

You don't happen to have any links for the artist or the music from your video "Evolution of a Virtual creature", do you? It's a rather tough search since "pop science" floods me with the magazine Popular Science, and "devon anderson" floods me with an actor with the same name, but not seemingly related to this guy. The only site that turned up for "pop science" + "devon anderson" was your video.

[Oldschool Tom Green] Organized Rhyme - Check the O.R.

mt256 says...

Big up oldschool Canadian massive!

from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organized_Rhyme

"Organized Rhyme was a short-lived Canadian hip-hop group based out of Ottawa renowned for its one commercial hit, "Check the O.R.", and because of the fame later achieved by one of its members, comedian Tom Green.

Organized Rhyme's musical formula consisted of three things: catchy beats, simplistic choruses and clever rhymes. That formula paid off: their first single, "Check the O.R.", was a hit in Canada and was nominated for a Juno Award in 1993 for Best Rap Recording, but lost to "Keep It Slammin'" by Devon.

The group broke up a short time later. Some blame the record label for wanting them to drop the comedic element of the group, but according to members of the group itself, they just couldn't stand each other anymore.[citation needed]

A dance remix of "Check the O.R." was released in 2000. The original music video for "Check the O.R." was included with Green's 2005 rap album, Prepare for Impact."

You like it so far?

Is this from the same people who made DEBS? Recognize the Vietnamese-French chicka (Devon Aoki).

Hmm... guess not. Ooh - a 5.2 at imdb.com

Bomb! And in the logical "bad way", not "bomb" as in "good" like VideoBomb... [grin]
