Kimbra ~ Cameo Lover
The autotuning in Mr. Rogers was better.
Two guys in a pizza joint cover Toto's Africa, brilliantly
Tellingly on the auto-tune front @TheSluiceGate, @LukinStone, I asked on the youtube video of this whether it was used, and they have moderation turned on... well, they haven't put up my question or an answer, yet have put up others that have come through since.
Also, there's a fan who set up a page at 'ragtube' (never heard of it before), which seems to have his old youtube channel description on it:
And now his youtube page says nothing about autotune... so did they start to use it, when they didn't previously, or have they always and been caught out on it, so have stopped claiming they don't?
Seems fishy to have had the info up, and now not.

Meh, I agree that if it was autotuned, it wasn't very noticeable and it didn't ruin the song. I wouldn't say that it wasn't plausible that it was autotuned...just not likely. I only glanced, but there weren't any other covers I noticed on the YT channel that required that high of a vocal register. To me, that would be a plausible reason this song might use it while the others wouldn't.
In any event, I liked this version and upvoted.

This doesn't strike me as plausible given there's a ton of other material on his channel and it all sounds natural to my ears.

GAHHH!!!! SOOOO MUCH LIVE AUTOTUNE!!!! MY FUCKING EARS!!!!
I didn't pick up anything, what's the tell-tale sound of it that you can hear? Or is it just one of those things that you can't really describe but just 'know' when you hear?
I hate to think that I'm being swindled by it not really being 'them' singing.
I was about to denounce TheSluiceGate for being a hater, but I think around 3:50 there's some vocal sliding around that sounds suspiciously autotuned. But, I will say that even with autotune it doesn't sound unlike the original, to me.
To their credit, those are notes not many men, who have gone through puberty, can hit.

In a sea of Disney Clones and Autotune, it's nice to see some of the new up-and-comers that can sing.

My daughter does a really great impression of Joby's owner, considering she's a 13 year old English lass, but my god it's getting old. Both of my kids quote parts of that video at least once a day, it seems there is always room for, "whatcha doin' dawg?" or "that's the nastiest thaaaang". They even sing the autotuned version, which drives me up the wall! But it's still hilarious and this is brilliant and deserves a *promote

Sweet Brown - Ain't Nobody Got Time for That (Autotune Remix
That was catchy as hell.
People are going to start talking to news crews at sites of events now purposely being wacky just to get autotuned.
