Going to be away for awhile . . .
As some of you may or may not have known, my grandpa had been very sick for a very long time. My participation here began to wane as a result, and this morning he passed away. I'm feeling a strange mixture of disbelief, relief, sadness, and closure. I promise I'll be back -- see you guys soon.

rasch187Sorry to hear that, nibi. All of my grandparents died years ago and it was a strange feeling every time. Endings are mixed blessings; you're glad they're no longer sick and/or in pain, but the loss of a loved one is never easy to cope with.
Try not to get too depressed and I hope we'll see you soon.
ZifnabI'm so sorry to hear that nibiyabi, my Grandfather passed away last March. He had been sick for a while beforehand as well, it was still a shock to us all and very hard to take.
