A civil flag according to Wiki Pedia is a flag flown by US Civilian institutions to denote that there are no Military Troops there. However today it has different meaning, it is a peace time flag. This is protected by the first ammendment and is a great way to express your discontent with the wars if you so choose.

The United States Has Two Flags? Yes The United States has two Flags, and apparently we have been at war since WWII. Old Glory was first made to be a Battle Flag, to denote Military assets.

This flag was to be used by Custom Houses, which were Civil arms of the government, and not military.

It is believed by some historians that the Civil Flag was discontinued after the Civil War when the federal government imposed military governments in the States and disbanded civilian government. As a show of it's power over the States, Civil Flags were discontinued and Old Glory became the sole emblem representing the People of the United States of America, united under military (or admiralty) rule.

But That is not the case, Old Glory made a lasting effect on people, and The history of the US Favored the Battle Flag over theCivil Flag.

This flag is used by Conspiracy Theorists every where, and their information is made to support their movements. It would do good for some real truth to come out about it.

History favored the Old Glory, and not This Flag.
