I love the song, but I thought it was lame to call it an atheist song. A Christmas song for EVERYONE fits it much better Merry Xmas sift.
The writer and singer of the song is an atheist and many of his songs deal with religion from an atheist view...so more accurate then lame.

Honestly Max, I think that's part of the charm. And it's -definitely- part of the humor. "But the lyrics are dodgy." struck me as making as much fun of his own song as it was of the standard Christmas carols...kind of a pot-meet-kettle line. Not to mention that almost all of his songs sound that way, or at least all of them that stick in my head.

I liked it, but it really sounded like he was making it up as he went. Very talented, no doubt, but it was a bit too rambling for something that had been composed.
