Unreal exchange over Canada’s involvement in Iraq

How the government handles questions.

Some pranksters must have replaced the instructional videos on the workings of parliament with Monty Python sketches...

Maybe if Mulcair had professed his membership in the People's Front of Judea, Calandra might have stayed on topic.

Yet again another Pro-Israeli proves himself to be unpatriotic

These treasonous scum-fucks would send their country and soldiers to war, killing their own countrymen, destroying their own economy in the process, all for Israel.

In our House of Commons, although the person speaking is recorded by microphones, unless you're listening on a headset like the Opposition was, you have to hear what the person says directly, and there's usually EVERYONE else there yelling something or the other to someone else across the room too.

I mention this because that is what he's doing. Plausible deniability. "I didn't hear his question right". He's still being disingenuous, and slimy, but he's not stupid. Crazy like a fox as it were.

Is this Paul bloke retarded?
The opposition didnt even mention israel...where the fuck did that even come from??????

The politicians are allowed to "boo and hiss" here in Canada. It is impossible to be held LEGALLY accountable for ANYTHING said in there. You can get in trouble in the Court of Popular Opinion, or demoted by the Prime Minister, but you can literally say "Prime Minister Harper blows goats." as long as you say "Mr. Speaker" first.

It's a lot like Simon Says or Jeopardy...

nocksaid:

What the hell is all the yelling in the background? Politicians or protestors?

Embarrassed by this...
Us, out West have no influence whatsoever on policy made in Canada as all policy is made in the East. The political borders in Canada make it impossible for anything we say or do to be of any consequence.
We whipped our hands of them years ago because they built the structure in a way that we were excluded.

In the shots of Paul Calandra, on the left of the screen you can see my one-time high school classmate, Jeff Watson MP, clapping along to that horseshit.

Engelssaid:

Wow, who would have thought that canada, of all places, was taken over by right wing troll nutters.
