Typhoon Megi slammed the coast of Taiwan and then China late last month, killing four and requiring the evacuation of tens of thousands. This footage from James Reynolds at Earth Uncut TV shows exactly how massive the waves of such a storm can be when they hit the shore. It's almost hard to believe. Other than the enormous size of the waves, perhaps the most impressive thing about this clip is how the lighthouse seems to take this all in stride. According to a Redditor from the area, the lighthouse is located in Hualien, Taiwan. It seems as though it might be the Hualien East Breakwater, which stands 75 feet high.
