TYT: Limbaugh's Crazy Obama Conspiracy Theory

Any evidence to Limbaugh's Obama Conspiracy Theory?
westysays...

I find it funny that they acuse obama of doing things that the bush goverment did more of , interms of legislation the bush government is far more guilty of passing bills that don't benefit anyone other than super rich people. the bush govemrnt has allso passed bills that removed lots of freedome and have probably made usa more of a targit for terorisum.

rush must know he is lying maby he is payed to say what he says ?

I think you've hit the nail directly on the head, Westy. He's projecting Bush (and Republican) tactics onto Obama. It doesn't seem that he could be delusional enough to not realize that, but I may still be overestimating him.

Or it may just be that I'm still unwilling to accuse anyone but Cheney of being totally evil.

I think it's very likely he is capable of being that delusional. I'm not trying to take a cheap shot at him. It's just that Rush has absolutely nothing to keep him in check. He's abandoned any method of rationalizing his thoughts long ago and now he just believes any thought that pops into his head is valid and unquestionable. Rush operates purely by 'stream of consciousness' and his followers devour it all.

Really, who can blame him? How many people wouldn't fall into the same intellectual trap given the same cultish fans?

Nithernsays...

So, was Rush for or against, the US Patriot Act when it was being rushed through Congress back during the Republican administration & Congress? That's right, not a single negative issue of it.

I agree, Rush can have all his wild accusations that he wants. He could say the reason it rained on his birthday, is because of the Obama corruption against him. He just has to put his money where is mouth is. He has to come up with the burden of EVIDENCE. That's Rush's problem, no evidence to support his ranting and raving.

There is an upper limit to someone accusing someone else of wrong doing. Once that limit is exceeded, a good, solid amount of evidence is needed to support it. When this support doesnt come, its up to the person to TAKE RESPONSIBLITY of their actions. Now, Republicans and conservates, are VERY noted for being irresponsible with money and power (i.e. GWB 2000-2008).

The cult of conservative republicans simply is a sad case of people who cant owe up to their past destruction as an ADULT.

Lolthiensays...

This just goes to show how... is desperate the right word?... How delusional and desperate the conservatives are. If Rush Limbaugh doesn't speak for all conservatives (as I've heard some conservatives tell me) then we should use the same argument Conservatives use against Muslims.

If Rush doesn't speak for all conservatives, then why don't the reasonable conservatives stand up against him? He is reflecting badly on the entire conservative sector. If they really didn't want him saying those things in the name of conservatism, they would stand up to him. And the more he rants like this, the more he alienates all but the most idiotic, conspiracy laden, Glenn Beck listening, dangerous fringe of their group.

So good luck getting elected like that.

"state controlled media?" this man is off the farm.

Conservatives are simultaneously far more entertaining now and far scarier now than they ever were. If only I could believe it was all a joke and there aren't thousands of people out there preparing to act on what these delusional paranoids are telling them.

Psychologicsays...

Rush isn't delusional, he's calculated. His intent, besides increasing his listener base, is to increase votes for conservatives. I don't think for a moment that he believes everything he says, but he sure has convinced many of his listeners (who I meet far too often).

Conservatives, unfortunately, have the home field advantage. It's much easier to scare people about the consequences of "new" legislation than it is to scare them about current practices. Rush's goal is to "hurt them and help us", regardless of where the facts stand. Some think he is detached from reality, but I'm fairly confident that he fully understands the nature of what he is doing.

PostalBlowfishsays...

At what price? The bat-shit-loco vote is far below the vote of even the john-and-kate-plus-eight, and surely even those idiots realize how stupid this shit is. Maybe some don't, but I think if they run a candidate that follows this dreck I don't see an honest Republican voting. Maybe some won't vote rather than voting against, but it's not going to help them.

It would be like running a Democrat on the platform of Bush Did 9/11.

Drachen_Jagersays...

Anyone who actually believes these guys (Limbaugh, Beck et al) is simply malfunctioning. How can someone with a brain is working properly believe any of this crap. My brother doesn't believe in global warming and my wife happened to mention this to a friend of hers who's a prof in Geological and Ocean studies, his response, "What he doesn't believe in thermometers?"

That's about it, just simply ignoring the truth under your nose because some loudmouth keeps telling you (without any evidence) something to the contrary.

MaxWildersays...

Finally somebody is talking about conservatives "projecting"! It's been that way for a couple years now! Everything they actually do, they say the liberals are doing. Only they have no evidence. Not that evidence matters to people who place "faith" over evidence...
