Man, I hate Banksy. Some of the laziest, pseudo-profound crap you'll ever see.

Me too, all I like is the status he's gained through his tactics.
The fawning over his work's content is silliness, it's his guerrilla game and public acceptance/approval of civil disobedience for the win-More public nudity NOW!

I think you guys aren't giving him the credit he deserves really. No one ever said that any one particular piece of art from an artist decides whether or not they have something valid to say, and in the interests of swaying you over towards thinking that he's up to his hype, check out his work on the west bank wall and possibly the simpson's sofa-intro-thingy that he did.

I think it's great as you could probably tell. If he was mindlessly scribbling or just putting foul language up then i could understand anyone's concern, but they're at least well considered and put together. And at least he's trying to make a difference with what he says. Moar subversion!

If one day science proved that vegetables were sentient beings what would vegans eat then?

I guess that depends on why you are vegan. I for one eat a plant based diet because animal products are bad for overall health.

I'm not sure you can claim that with certainty. Jury's still out on that one.

I'm not saying vegan diets are inherently bad, but we evolved to be omnivores. There's really no concrete evidence to say that a vegan diet is better than one that includes fish, meat and eggs.

It's also bloody hard to find good info on this, simply because almost all the info seems to display an inherent bias (both sides are guilty of this).

Personally, I'm willing to accept a little unhealthiness if it means I can have bacon.
