You're disgracing the independent mind of Boba Fett.

It's not Bush's job to fix the economy, the economy will fix itself in due time. It was his job to help make the country safer, which he did. You need to study Economics 101, son.

Fusionautsays...

Yeah! He made the country safer by reading children lovely stories while the Twin Towers burned. He made the country safer by turning the whole world's sympathy for the United States into contempt and disgust by engaging in an illegal war. He made the country safer by disregarding the Geneva convention so he could torture supposed terrorists without any sort of trial. He made the country safer by sending it's young soldiers to die in a foreign land so that he might further his own interests. Anyone that criticizes Bush obviously can't fathom all the good he's done for his country...

StukaFoxsays...

"There's still an enemy who would like to inflict damage on America. But sadly, I was limited to two terms."

Also, some of your RHETORIC was a mistake? No, your rhetoric was pure fucking comedy, it was your goddamn ACTIONS that were the mistake! There's 7,000 Americans who were alive when you took office and are dead today as a direct result of the actions you and your administration took.

I hope they name the urinals in the Hoover Building at Stanford after you -- that way the best historians in the world can figuratively and literally piss on your name.

Thank Christ the worst is being followed by the best.

Asmosays...

"Not having weapons of destruction was a significant disappointment"

Hang on, so you're disappointed that you didn't actually have a reason for invading a country and killing not only foreign nationals but you're own troops?

Yeah, that is disappointing... *rolls eyes*

I think I can can stand firm that bush did "Nothing" for any of our country's security and that he not only nothing for the economy, he helped to drain money out of the government's funds to fuel the corporations that glut on war.

It is truly amazing how much money the government can pull out of nowhere when they want to fund a war but cannot afford to fund basic education and job training programs during non war situations. Imagine how many people could have been educated better and had access to higher education, how many social programs could have been funded for the betterment of society, how many tax breaks could have been created so people could afford to feed their families, how many jobs could have been created through new innovations and training, if only that money was spent on the Americans that funded the government in the first place.

War has costs a ton of money as everyone can see. who got the money? Who has it now? Who is profiting?

"They say 'hidden costs' have pushed the total to about $1.5 trillion - nearly twice the requested $804bn (£402bn)." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7092053.stm - yes, no one knows the true amount - but holy crap, look at the $$ being spent on war and killing, and for what, false premises.

The money doesn't just dry up, it changes hands. And this kind of money doesn't land in your bank account or mine. It is sitting in the accounts of Bush and his buddies.

No one can convince me that bush hasn't 'helped' screw the economy and people of the US just a little bit.

just my 27¢ worth!

I'm glad someone here sees things clearly. If Hussein boy had been here the last 8 years, who knows what other attacks on U.S. the crazies would have tried.
