Interesting hustle. The power of sales is that you spend all that time with him and there's a massive feeling of obligation to buy something at the end.

And get them to say yes. To anything. Then the yes comes at the end.

He's funny, but I have a feeling if it were good they wouldn't be door to dooring it. Elbow grease is the catalyst there.

Door to door salesmen are like trolls, you don't want to feed them or they keep coming back. Massive resurgence of them these last two years, most don't bother knocking anymore.

An interesting youtube comments claims that they saw pretty much the same routine elsewhere.

He's pretty fucking amazing.

I don't think he'd go well in a real comedy setting, but he was entertaining. He plays the hard sell, but he also demonstrates a product that seems to work pretty well, although I'm sure it's exactly the same stuff as other cleaners that would be a lot cheaper. Would I end up buying a bottle of the stuff... dunno, $36 seems pretty damn steep.

What this video did for me though is to give me the tickly warm and fuzzy feeling I get inside when I'm being sold something door to door or over the phone, or doing an over the phone survey. It's the weirdest thing, most people find them horrendously annoying and time wasting, but I'm more than happy to let them give me their spiel... I don't know what it is that triggers it, whether it's just having someone trying hard to win me over, or what, I just don't get it... but I like the feeling so let them do their thing.

I hardly ever actually buy whatever product they have to sell, but hey, they don't expect a very good hit rate, and I figure it's giving them practice at their spiel with someone who isn't openly hostile towards them.

OMG! I think I saw this guy a couple years ago. Was selling some sort of citrus cleaning stuff. I remember because he kept drinking it. I ended up buying a bottle because he was so entertaining.

Actually having had a brief look at the videos on youtube, it seems there's several of them. Also seems to be a few people saying their customer service never answers or fobs you off with nonsense if you want your money back - you can't get it back. Read of a few people that even thought there was some criminal element to it. Nothing solid but cause for concern.

I'd buy from him in a heartbeat.

Whoa ! I had almost the same sales pitch from a girl with the SAME product a few months ago. It was like a stand-up routine in fast-forward. She was hilarious and told me to watch out for her on Comedy Central. I totally remember because the part of the pitch when she 'drank' the cleaning solution sold me. Also, she likewise saw hardwater stains on my window and scrubbed them out on the spot.

Needless to say, she sold me. I wonder how they are recruiting these folks ?

Well Ive either seen this particular guy or someone who looks like him do the same routine myself and that was a few years ago. My wife got hit by him also she said he told her he sells all over America. I try to be polite when they come but I try to shoosh them away as quickly as possible because I feel like Im wasting their time because I know I wont buy anything.
