NASA finds signs of flowing water on Mars!

New pics, but not a new finding. Smears like these have been seen for years.
I'm waiting for an explanation of why they show up on North facing slopes. If this were LIQUID H2O I would think they would be on South facing (more towards the sun) slopes.
I hope NASA gets continued funding, but their PR needs to be more honest with less pandering to sensationalism.

The area in the video is in the southern hemisphere so the north-facing slopes would be getting more sun exposure than the south-facing slopes.

Also the (NASA) title of the video is "Possible Water Flows on Warm Martian Slopes". That doesn't seem all that sensationalist. Blame the media for the hype.

The current thinking is that the first people to Mars would be making a lifetime engagement.

Though if you're (un)lucky, that might only be three years.
