Moon - Sam Tries To Have Serious Convo With Sam

Undoubtedly my favourite film of 2009, this scene is a much needed injection of humour. If you haven't seen it, do

I went home and downloa...errr...purchased that. My downlo...err...purchase was complete within 15 minutes - I`d never seen a torr...purchase move so quickly. Gonna watch it tonight.>> ^KnivesOut:

Love Sam Rockwell. Seen Gentlemen Broncos? If not, you should.

And I prefer the `Banana with a yeast infection` line over the tampon line.

i was unsure of this movie at first.i had figured out pretty quick what the dealio was and figured it was just gonna be another plate of vanilla cookie crap but sam rockwell really sucked me in and even though i KNEW i found myself starting to feel his sense of loss, betrayal, isolation and followed him right to the end.
give this movie a chance and it will surprise you if you let it.

Outstanding movie. This is the one that made Rockwell a real star in my mind. I went back looking for more of his work, and found I'd seen him multiple times before. I'm still in the process of grabbing all his old films to watch from Netflix, but the first few have been awesome.

I found the movie predictable but fairly enjoyable. I'm curious to see what a larger story would've looked like if they'd had a bigger budget.

Hmm, thinking about it, I kinda think the predictability made me focus more on the performance. One thing I was definitely not sure about was Gerty, some of those scenes really creeped me out!

Just noticed he played Zaphod in The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. He's definitely one of those actors that, though I'd never really heard of him before, when I go back and look, turns out I've seen him in at least a half dozen movies. Good versatility, but never really stands out. He isn't really 'leading-man' handsome, which is probably the main reason he isn't usually put into memorable roles, but he makes up for it in talent for sure. Good stuff. I hope we see more of him.

Like a younger, more virile Gary Oldman.
