Irish priest sings "Hallelujah" surprise for Bride and Groom

An Irish priest surprised a couple by singing a cover of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah during their wedding ceremony. Fr Ray Kelly, the parish priest of Oldcastle, County Meath, changed the song’s lyrics to be more suitable for a wedding. The bride and groom, Leah and Chris O’Kane, didn’t see it coming.

He is known for singing, but the bride and groom weren't locals and didn't know.

Actually it's not. The original song is about orgasm and as such wholly appropriate for a wedding (hopefully)

It freaks me out that the original song is written about gloom & doom. I wouldn't want this sung at my wedding.
