This is great. When did they hook it up so Josh isn't actually pre-recorded? I'm months behind on my Craig Ferguson show but it so far it was like 8 or so fixed responses for the night from what I'd seen.

Months, you say? It's almost a year and a half for me...

Yeah.....I like his show the best of the late night hosts, but can only keep up when network television is in a re-run hell.

I tried watching Craig on a regular basis, but I just can't. It's the whole Late Night format that bores me. But there is no doubt that the best short clips come from his show, and they're always worth an upvote.

BTW, I would add to the title "(in a good way)". I was concerned that things had gotten bad between them. Craig has threatened to get rid of Geoff a few times.

I watch Craig almost nightly, that's the first time they've done this. Pulled it off expertly, too.
Doubt it will be a nightly thing, at least in the long term. Although ad libbed, it seems they set up the bit with the emails being all Geoff-themed.

Geoff was built by Grant Imahara from Mythbusters while he was still working at MB and doing other robot projects on the side.

Apparently he nearly died in the middle of all that, he had so many projects he worked late into the nights and worked tired a lot. A 500kg walking bot he working on fell on top of him and nearly pinned him while he was working late one night with nobody else around to help.

It was a sort of bet/challenge. Grant agreed to take it on if Craig could get him 100k twitter followers (it took less than 24 hours).
