Car Drives On Wrong Side To Bypass Traffic, Passes Cop Car

Car driving down middle turn lane pauses next to police car to wait for oncoming traffic to pass before driving on the wrong side to bypass traffic. Not sure how they ever thought they could get away with it

Adding video to channels (Law) - requested by Zawash.

He didnt see the cop car. He was doing a left handed turn in the median but someone was doing a left handed turn in the oncoming direction before he could make it to the turn off. After becoming impatient with the traffic he crossed into the oncoming lane to get around the other car turning left. He was only looking to his left the entire time. The cop probably realized the driver got stopped well before his turn and was watching to see if he would do something stupid, as there was almost no lag in his reaction time.

For the record, it is more than 300m (1000 ft) until it is possible to turn left (into Starbucks).
